“I work with video cameras and last March I had to do a show that required an external Ninja V monitor for a camera via battery power, without the battery being attached directly to the monitor. I had all the right components except a cable that could go out of the SmallRig 12v (2.1mm) plate into the Ninja V (2.5mm). I had ordered a DC power supply adapter – converting a 2.1mm male to a 2.5mm male, but it was coming in the mail I wasn’t sure if I was going to get to me on time - so in a last ditch effort I went all over Brighton and Hove into every electrical shop I could find for over 5 hours, asking for parts, everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Finally, I went into Street Sounds and explained to Richard what I was trying to do. He simply said bring in the cables and the device and let’s have a look. I went home grabbed the bits and brought everything back. He asked: All you want is a 2.1mm on onside and 2.5mm on other side of a cable? I was like Yep! He went that’s easy, cut the 2 x cables to desired length, soldered the cable, threw some shrink wrap on it, heat gunned and said “test that”. I did and it worked perfectly. I offered to pay for his help, he said no, I offered to buy him some drinks or something for his time. He said No, it was a simple easy job only took like 5 minutes and sometimes it’s enough to help someone and see how stuff works. I wish there was more people with this kind of outlook and customer service. Thank You!!! ”

It was stress-free as we got the package with lunch boxes for the kids, and they have an announcement when is the time to move from the play session to the party room. “Firstly the service was amazing, Adele was so friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the food was unbelievable! We had the Smoke Platter and shared it between two, luckily we did, it was MASSIVE, we had to wrap what we couldn’t eat to go. Thirdly, Adele’s espresso martinis are a MUST!!”

“Had a good experience here. The place is cosy and the family running the place are really nice and accommodating, immediately offering a smile when we went in. We tried their Big English Breakfast, which was really good! Food presentation was lovely and really looked appetising! Also you can have it with toast, in our case we just had it regular meaning no toast but in the end we were still so full and satisfied. It’s just the coffee it was 2 shots but the cup was a bit to big and made it a bit weak, or maybe too much milk was added to our latte. So I suggest requesting to have another extra shot to your coffee! But in general recommend this place 100%. Well done!”

“Had a wonderful day today at Ashford Shopping Centre, I like to go there at least once a year to check the bargains as it is a great place to do Christmas shopping. The Fred Perry shop is excellent value. On the way home, we visited Horace’s chip shop as we were hungry after a long day of shopping at Ashford Shopping Centre with the excellent Fred Perry shop, and we was greeted by such friendly faces, true family unity. We made a large order consisting of lots of different items, ranging from sausages,to chips, to onion rings. I am writing this review after just consuming this, and I can honestly say I have only just returned back from the fifth dimension. Absolutely Michelin starred level of goods produced, all for a price that would even be affordable to the homeless community after a heavy day of busking down Seaford Beach. The food was almost ready before I even tapped my contactless card, it was almost like I shared a telepathic connection with the owner who knew what I was going to order and already had it ready because he knew I was coming, on my way back from the Ashford shopping Centre. I have since set fire to my Christmas tree in the garden. Thank you.”

“Ok. Let’s start saying that I went to this place with very little expectation to find Sicilian street food, contrary wise this place exceeded my expectations. A precious little place in duke street that stand out for all the competitors in the street. I went safe for coffee and cake and it was ever so good that I decided to have an arancino al pistacchio after, and I was literally transported to Sicily with the flavours of the food. At the exit I managed to compliment myself with Davide the owner of the place, which was exquisite. His passion is clearly expressed into the food and the attention to details. I would not hesitate to come back for a coffee and cake, quick or long lunch, an aperitivo or a nice traditional unique Sicilian meal out. Ideal for everyone, from kids to adult and wheelchair friendly with ground floor access and tables. The unpretentiousness of this place makes it ideal for a solo meal as well as a romantic date to impress. Sicilian typical product also available to buy at the counter....not to be missed the “Crema al pistacchio”. In conclusion, this place is a must go either if you are Italian or not, and you will easily spot why is second to none. So far the best “arancini” in Brighton.”

“I had 17 minutes before my bus was due. Service was quick, I only waited a couple of minutes and my mushroom toastie was hot and tasty. I was offered a side salad, but I declined because I was pushed for time. The lady behind the till was pleasant and brought my tray over for me (I have a fractured ankle and crutches) which was much appreciated, and I made it in plenty of time for my bus!”
