I cannot fault anything that we ordered. From the fragrant Rice and Peas, to the Fresh Salad and Coleslaw to the Creamy Mac and Cheese.The chicken was cooked to perfection, very well seasoned and fell off the bone effortlessly. Blown away!!! I have been to many and I mean mannnyyyy restaurants and takeaways that sale Caribbean food. Rarely anyone ever gets the whole menu right. Ollie's is a definite Top Contender in my TOP 5! When I'm in Brighton again I will definitely be eating here again.”

“Very nice little restaurant. We were hesitating to go because the Google rating was only 4.1 at the time, but we thought it's clearly worth more than this. The atmosphere was very intimate and relaxing, the food was delicious (the ox tail stew is fantastic) and not that pricey compared to a lot of tapas places, staff was very friendly, and service was very quick.”

Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and spices that transported me straight to India. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We started off our dinner with Bombay Bhel and I highly recommend trying their Chana Masala and Fish Curry– it's a must-try! The ambiance was also lovely, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. I will definitely be returning to savor more of their delicious offerings. “We’ve just had a great meal tonight! Everything was perfect and it’s one of the better authentic and affordable curry houses we’ve been too, especially in Brighton where prices can get a little steep! They looked after us from start to finish, but mainly, the food was great :) The chutney tray was extensive, with a few extra options compared to usual which was nice. The mains and sides were all very flavoursome and not overly oily. The chapati and mushroom rice were okay, but completely outshone by the chicken tikka which was sizzling and very moist, and the Chana saag which was delicious. The korma was a little sweet, but heavy on coconut which was lovely. All in all, this was cracking!”

“A very warm welcome set the tone of tasteful dishes and a lovely atmosphere. I ordered a veggie chart, butter chicken with boiled rice, yoghurt and side salad. Very filling and fresh. Pavel was sincere, kind and genuine. You could feel the passion in the service. Will definitely visit again.”

“Best prawn pad Thai in Brighton! Really delicious, generous portion, prawns were big and fresh tasting. Mother in law had recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat solid foods but wanted to go out, our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She brought out a piece of tofu so she could see if it was soft enough! MIL had Tom Ka without any solids and it was so so delicious - will definitely order this when we next come (with all the usual fixings) Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner !”

“Consistent tasty food. Authentic Hong Kong menu and very reasonable prices. If you like sweet and sour HK style or roasted pork or duck etc you’ll love it here. Other dishes are great too! Staff are attentive and polite and food is served quickly, hot and fresh! Definitely has the 鑊氣!”

“Came here after me, my dad, and my brother couldn’t decide on a place to eat and I’m so glad we did! The waitress was absolutely lovely and so accommodating to us, the food was absolutely incredible, full of flavour. Our waitress was so lovely and offered me an alternative quesadilla as I’m vegetarian, taking time to make sure it was to my liking, and it tasted stunning. She provided high energy/vibes on a cold and rainy night which I couldn’t be more thankful for. The portions were also very large which matched perfectly with the price! All and all I give this place an easy 10/10 if not more and I really can’t wait till I can go again! “We were walking past this building and at first i thought it was an old casino because of the gaming machines. But when we wandered in, we were surprised and in awe at how beautifully restored this old opera house is. Take a closer look around, especially the upper level booths. It is very pretty. Better yet the drinks are cheap!!!!! Lots of older folks here drinking so you know this is the place to get a cold one. They had an enormous menu of EVERYTHING. Apologies I forgot to get pics of the menu but it was impressive. We only had a couple drinks here and we were enjoying the people watching. According to signage you can book reservations for dinner for two people max in one of the opera booths. Awesome.”

“Great trendy local Italian restaurant. Authentic fresh Italian ingredients and very reasonable prices. Good selection of drinks including cocktails and craft beer. The pasta is made at the premises and both the pasta dishes we had were excellent, fresh and well balanced in terms of flavour. We will certainly come again to try the pizza which looked amazing. The service by what seems to be a mainly Italian team was very friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent place for a very filling lunch. Good range of things to go with noodles or rice. Chicken katsu curry is excellent. Chicken is very crispy. The amount of meat they manage to squeeze in to the container is phenomenal! Very filling as a result. Not cheap but great value for money”

“I’ve been to The Grenadier Pub a few times now, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is pretty good value for money – generous portions, tasty, and fairly priced. The staff really make the difference here. Kiera always greets you with a big smile and delivers excellent customer service – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Hallam is also a pleasure to deal with – always polite, professional, and helpful, adding to the great experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after and appreciated as a customer. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chilled spot with good food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!”

“The food quality and flavours continue to be First Class. My personal dish of King Prawn Pathia was out of this world. The prawns were so large it made the dish almost surreal. The spices were also truly delicious. Ali was serving us. He was knowledgeable and engaging, also ensuring that we were satisfied with our meal. The quality is definitely a stand out, in my opinion. “Went for a spare of the moment lunch with with my two children today, they had a great choice of food and the childrens menu was also devent quality food too. Another huge plus was that didnt break the bank either. My son has a PEG which he feeds through if he doesnt eat orally, I realised I had forgotten my portable blender, asked the pub on the off chance if they could blend up his meal and they did without any hesitation. They even offered to package up the left overs. Lovely little garden, lots of seating also available inside too where it was nice and cool. They also have a little toy/kids corner which kept the kids entertained before eating. Will definitely be eating there again! Thank you so much for being accommodating to my sons needs.”

The food was really good, pork ribs was the best, salad bar was also clean. The place is clean and newly refurbished. Definitely the best harvester i’ve had out of all branches.”

“I recently tried the new starter menu at Stonehouse and was so impressed! The chicken goujons were perfectly cooked — lovely and tender, soft inside and not dry at all. The Camembert fondue was creamy and indulgent, paired beautifully with the toasted garlic bread (a match made in heaven!). The harissa prawns were another highlight — packed full of flavour with just the right hint of spice without being overpowering. Everything was well presented and tasted fresh. A fantastic new addition to the menu — I’ll definitely be ordering these again!”

“A great teadional Italian restaurant situated at the heart of The Lanes, so you can spend the day shopping and the chill and eat. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Warm and welcoming and lost of space so you should always be able to find a table. Pasta is made fresh daily. They also do a two course of three course special menu which is very good value. Nice selection of wines. Can't fault it.”

“I've been there yesterday (19/01) for the second time, this time with a friend who is even pickier than me... And again! Nothing to complain. The food was amazing, it is a family run business and you can feel the love and attention they put into it. We had lahmcum and Adana kofte. Besides the great food, the place is clean and well decorated - a nice atmosphere. They have a wooden oven which makes the total difference. After moving from London it was a great relief to find a proper Turkish restaurant in Brighton”
