“A true gem of a market. Small, but I picked up the most divine chilli oil & glorious gluten free & vegan deserts which were so delicious! Highly recommend this market.”
“Great little store. Very helpful staff and they usually have stock of the items that you want. Staff also very good and help with a "have you got a thing that does this?" type queries.”
“Called in screwfix Worthing Broadwater today - 28/06/2025. I have to say a big thank you to both Josh & Livvy, who both restored my faith in customer service. Josh and Livvy were completely customer based, and defo went the extra mile for customer service. They were both Professional, polite, and had a clear desired to give an excellent customer experience. Thank you Josh & Livvy @ screwfix Worthing Broadwater.”
“I was served by a wonderfully cheerful and buoyant chap at podia. A tall, grey haired dude. Excellent! Also, a lovely young lady who's studying psychology (I think). Makes up for strange, nervous, Mr Lacklustre on customer services one day!!”
“Loved the Dulce leche with coco only place I could find it. Has a great variety of products.”
“Huge variety of Asian food, staff are really friendly, I brought a couple of the want want variety bags and there is not a single item in there I didn’t like, everything is reasonably priced.”
“Superb deli and the friendliest people behind the counter - cannot fault the range on offer. If only there were more delis and sandwich places like this instead of soulless same-old chains. If you're in or going near Lewes, I strongly recommend you stop in.”
“Stockers of most Desi/Asian cuisine requirements, with fresh veggies and fruits available all the time. Staff are very friendly and helpful.”
“Amazing choice of fresh and frozen foods, lots of things u wouldn't find in your local supermarket, fruit and veg always look very fresh. Highly recommend visit, lovely happy and friendly staff to.”
“Knowledgeable staff, friendly atmosphere. Got a nice cordless and ready for adventures.”
“Lovely little shop, really friendly and helpful staff. Easy to park and pick up forgotten or emergency necessities in a hurry rather than go into town. Can seem pricey but carries co-op offers and the markdowns are excellent.”
“Best place to get the Beef short rib and Pork shoulder from the meat counter. Not cheap, but much better than other supermarkets.”
“Fantastic corner store with a wide variety of fruit and vegetables which you cannot find in large supermarkets ,highly recommended”
“13 years ago I lived on this street and visited this store regularly, I remember from the time when Aunt Vita was your neighbor. Hope you all are doing well! I dream of the day when I can fly to England and visit Brighton. I wish you good luck, I will definitely come back to you)) If you have any opportunity to share Aunt Vita’s contacts, write in a reply comment, I will be very grateful!”
“The superstore is just across the road. A car park is so big it could be utilised a bit more. Maybe the shopping centres can come together and hold a Saturday or Sunday market. This would really help the community as we do not have anything like that apart from the Sunday market down at the marina or at the racecourseapart from that LD is The go to supermarket not just for the budget conscience but for those middle class, spend it as well quality quantity and your saving a few pennies I go there for the shopping and come back with the suite Lots of savings to be had and enjoy the middle while”
“Generally a good store but the queues can be very long at some times of day, although if I go in after 9pm it’s very quiet. Currently being refurbished and scheduled to reopen on August 28th. Literally a shell at the time of posting this review. UPDATE: engineering work finished on time (unlike on the railway!) and all-new fridges down most aisles, a new expanded self-checkout area has up to 19 tills with a parallel queue area, meaning access to the important wine and beers area isn’t space restricted by the queues. A good refurbishment that hasn’t moved stuff around unnecessarily, leading to wasted time trying to find what you went in there for.”
“Great choice of quality food , staff are always helpful. A relaxed environment to do your shopping.”
“Personally love this store void popular times Park can be a night mare”
“Love the staff in the shop, always been polite and chatty, great location.”
“I reviewed Londis previously and had only just started shopping there but now I go in quite regularly and the service is always great. The shop is well stocked and usually there are 2 tills open so less queueing. It is very popular. Yes the prices are a little bit higher but it is a convenience store for your convenience! It sells lottery tickets and Health Lottery too.”
“This ALDI is absolutely fantastic, always well stocked and tidy. Sam on the Self-Checkouts was fantastic yesterday, he really went the extra mile and helped us out.”
“Lovely little shop always clean and stocked up staff are really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend”
“They've got a lot of things that come in handy, they are open long hours, and I enjoy chatting to the ladies who work there. I'm so happy this store is here for us residents on the beach (and of course for everyone else who comes to the beach).”
“Always like the range. My daughter was having a meltdown and the one of the lady staff members allowed me to leave my trolly full of stuff to take my.daughter outside to calm down. There was no judgement, she even asked if we needed anything.”
“Great shop with fair prices, high than supermarkets as to be expected but not by much and the range of produce is sublime. The staff are very friendly too!”
“Good local store! Sells a good mix of local produce, and national chain goods! I’m assuming it’s a bit more independent as they’ve got Morrisons stuff, they had some Tesco stuff too! But seemed to competively priced too! Great news is they still have the same local staff! There’s a young lady (maybe Georgia?) who works on a Monday afternoon who is fantastic for customer support! Keep up the cracking work!”
“Currently my favourite Lidl. Always well stocked & clean. Their bakery is superior to other Lidl stores. It has a very efficient self service. The staff are professional & good at their jobs. Spacious free parking outside.”
“The Sussex Grocer in Hassocks is a great little shop — always well stocked with a good mix of essentials and local produce. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality. Staff are friendly and it’s just a really handy place to have in the village.”
“A very nice experience honestly the best shop I’ve ever been to.five stars”
“Brilliant little shop! Has so much stock and very friendly staff. Have used it for years and love it!”
