Bathing in Bath

“Passing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and it’s made me genuinely sad that I don’t live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we aren’t local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. It’s opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?”

“I found HiQ in Bath today googling after having a bad experience with Bathwick Tyres my usual go to place. HiQ were brilliant despite being busy, they were helpful, easy to deal with, fixed the issue, great value. A great tyre place in Bath which I didn’t know existed before today - will be my new go to place.”

“We stayed for 2 nights at The Yard after our wedding and it was great. The location is fantastic and very central which makes walking to the city centre easy. The rooms are nicely finished and clean with a great bathroom. Really comfortable beds and in a very quiet location too.”

“Great place to buy everyday products in bulk, helps local business, reduce plastic usage. Many prices are comparable to supermarkets if not cheaper so would highly recommend visiting. Staff is also very nice and helpful!”

“Absolutely brilliant. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the initial greeting, grand tour and room in the amazing gardens - wow! This hotel is set in magnificent grounds. I am actually out of superlatives! On top of all this the staff are brilliant. Most of them seem very young but are a credit to the Pig Group. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every aspect. “Lovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.”

“We cannot fault our stay at Hotel Indigo, Bath. We were greeted so warmly by Emily & Alberto. Our vaulted room was incredible!! It was spacious, clean, comfortable & it had the biggest bath tub we've ever seen!! The hotel is located close to the city centre & was only a short stroll to the famous Roman Baths. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar & had some delicious cocktails. Check-out was quick & easy. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo, Bath & we are definitely looking forward to staying again one day.”

The food was made to perfection, nice a healthy and hearty. We enjoyed it so much that we were so close to having it again that day for dinner!”

“We visited Square Grill in Bath and had a fantastic experience! The ambience was amazing, giving off a royal and elegant vibe. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was top-notch—very friendly and attentive staff. The location is perfect, right opposite the Roman Baths Museum, making it a great stop during your visit to the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a classy dining experience in Bath!”

“Wow Wow Wow. Fantastic! We were in the Bath for the weekend and thought we'd try Pintxo out as we'd walked past before on previous visits and we hadn't booked any food for the weekend - not knowing what to expect from the Christmas markets. On arrival we spent around 15 mins sat at the bar waiting for a table (soaking in the top notch atmosphere) after hanging our coats up, ordered our drinks and were promptly seated once a table became available. The food was simply fantastic, it was soooo tasty! The Deep Fried Aubergines were out of this world, the portions were great and the staff were very friendly and very attentive to clear room when we had finished plates. We will certainly be back on our next visit to Bath, one of the best Tapas we've had outside of Spain (and even including!).”

“These guys are amazing. They are really helpful and couldn't have been friendlier. They not only do MOTs for the public but they also maintain the entire fleet of vehicles for the council, so they really do know their onions. utterly recommended, couldn't be happier. “Pretty decent food for a good price, I had a milkshake and burger. The chips were fantastic and so was the milkshake! The burger was decent too. The main takeaway from eating here was the atmosphere was really quite nice in my opinion. It was busy and the decor was awesome! The service was decent but the kitchen is quite small so food did take some time to come out. But if your not in a rush its worth a visit.”

“Lovely little coffee shop with a great selection of cookies and pastries. The barista was super friendly. The cookies looked delicious and super fresh so we had to try the rainbow chocolate cookie. It crumbled in our hands so you knew it was just made and it was delicious.”

“Excellent! We are an independent boarding school and used this clinic for a number of our children who needed PCR tests prior to flying home for the Christmas holidays. The online appointments were easy to book and the service was excellent. Results were back much more quickly than expected, apart from one. When we chased this, we had a result emailed to us within 5 minutes. The responsibility for ensuring our children could fly home for Christmas was huge and we had already been let down by one postal company (despite paying separately for a courier). We will definitely be using the Goodbody Testing Clinic in the future. Many thanks to all the team.”

“This might be the best barbers I’ve been too. It has a nice feel to it, it has class but a slight chill vibe to it. It is for everyone. The staff are friendly and also helpful. The haircut I received was amazing and looks spot on. They offered me tea while the haircut was being done, which is just extremely nice and thoughtful of them. They also offered me product in my hair which normally you have to ask for in a barbers. I am VERY VERY happy with the service and only £20 for a skin fade as a student. They also do OAP discounts as well as the student discount I was given.”

“Very good service, helpful, friendly and efficient. I ordered a battery for car and it was ready to be picked up on arrival. When I returned it because it was wrong size it was a straightforward refund. Easy to get to and plenty of parking”

“Popped in here on a Friday night on the off-chance they'd have a table and they did (it was very quiet). Was slightly worried the locals knew something I didn't but the service was fast and the food was genuinely delicious, would absolutely recommend.”

“This shop is definitely the best Polish shop in Bath. Friendly staff and the lady owner is always very helpful and happy to preorder bits and pieces they're out of stock. Consistent and pleasant experience, so not a surprise 5⭐ P.s. This one in town next to Odeon is a total disaster.”
