“Absolutely lovely Christmas dinner here, crackers, table all spread and the most enormous amount of delicious food! Thank you to everyone who helped to make it a lovely experience.”
“I've lived in Thornbury now for about 10 weeks and most days and maybe a few nights a week .. The staff are Absolutely Amazing! The Food is Amazing and we always get a warm welcome.. I will always choose this place for a Relaxing drink...”
“Highly recommend reserving a table as it gets very busy, but for good reason! I had the big breakfast and it was excellent, all items were perfectly cooked and the thick bacon was beautiful. The coffee was also great (black americano). The hostess was brilliant as well, she handled the very busy period with grace and professionalism and was so friendly and helpful. Please give it a try, you won't be disappointed!”
“This wonderful place is 100% recommend. We felt like at home since the first minute, the customer service was 10\10 and the food delicious. I will definitely come back. Thank you very much.”
“One of my favourite places to eat, food is absolutely delicious and the portions are generous always leave full. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is really nicely designed. Food is a little pricey but is 100% worth it.”
“We had to try the no.1 on street foods in Bath. So glad we did, Hungarian at its best.”
“Never disappoints. The food’s full of flavour, portions are generous, and the prices are great for what you get. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the taste makes up for it every time.”
“I had a great experience at this buffet restaurant today! There was a wide variety of food options, from fresh salads and hot dishes to a selection of live cooking stations, which really made the meal more enjoyable. Everything was well-presented and kept fresh, and I especially appreciated the dishes being cooked to order right in front of you. The quality of the food was impressive, and the flavors were delicious across the board. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience even better. So far, this is the best buffet I’ve had in the UK – great value for money and definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back again!”
“Came here for christmas meal and I was very happy to find out my blue light discount works on the new menu potatoes were a little off but cannot blame the staff for that just the chef”
“excellent service and great tasting food highly recomend this shop”
“Went for the meaty challenge wrap. Although pricey, you do get a good, delicious feed. For post-work dining in the week, this place is great!”
“Great food at great prices. The staff are very nice and hardworking, the tables are spaced out and the place is well looked after. The brownie from the kinds menu is a decent size and only £1.99! Just right if you don’t have a lot of room after the main course but still fancy something sweet.”
“Had to leave a review after seeing Lesley’s a few months back here. Sir/ma’am, why on earth are you going anywhere when you’re probably still contagious fresh off the back of norovirus?! Could’ve wiped out the whole team and thrown that mac n cheese straight back up. Partner and I have come here more than a few times, lounges are great for dietary restrictions and I’m gluten free & vegan. Staff always friendly but not overbearing about it, very casual and relaxed setting. Good food at a reasonable price point! Hope the team cackled at the aforementioned review just like my partner and I.”
“We had a pulled chicken quesadilla and a pulled chicken wrap. Both were excellent (although I would say that the quesadilla was quite oily). We also got the cheesy nachos which were good too. With one drink it came to just under £20 for the two of us. We went on a weekday lunchtime, and the service was quick and there was no queue. Only thing to note is that there's probably enough space for about 4-6 people to sit inside and eat, so if you needed to sit down, there might not always be enough room.”
“It's food is very good and it's not that expensive so if your not bothered to cook but still hungry go here because its very good and I like it.”
“Best fried chicken in Lawrence hill would recommend. It’s nice fresh and tasty fried chicken.”
“This is the first time, i found so delicious turkish food in this side of United Kingdom. I felt like that i am in Taksim Square, Istanbul eating my lamb shish and enjoying the sweet wind of Bosphorus. Choose your meal and take a seat next to the Pulteney Bridge. You will not regret it. :)”
“We had a Sunday carvery which was booked late. They were very accommodating and the food was lovely. We were told to wait 10 minutes if we wanted fresh beef which we did as this is what my husband wanted. I had Turkey and there was a large choice of vegetables, with mash and roast potatoes. All of it was hot and the meat was very tender. Will definitely return. Thank you.”
“A welcoming sizzling pub, friendly management and bar staff. Always lovely food and well kept beer. Pool table in use and sports showing on all the bar TVs. Family friendly place too! All in all 10/10!”
“I regularly attend this friendly pub on a Tuesday evening for Sue's quiz night. Sue herself makes everyone feel like part of the family. The quiz itself is very engaging with a number of different aspects to it. Further the Bar staff etc are warm and welcoming.”
“Three of us arrived for Friday evening supper. Young but very attentive serving staff, who looked after us beautifully. We started with the sharers board with a side of the crispy chicken. This was followed by a signature burger which was well cooked, good onion rings and crispy chips. We also had the fish and chips, we decided to have the extra bread and butter and scampi, we probably wouldnt do that again. The fish was tasty and well cooked. The final meal was the smothered chicken. This was rather over cooked and dry but a good flavour. I probably just had bad luck. The pub is welcoming and you are always comfortable there. It suits all ages, the parking is good the location is amazing. I would certainly recommend it.”
“My favourite pizza place in Bristol. Affordable and delicious. Only takes 10/15 minutes usually so great as a meal for myself or to share after a busy days work. My favourite is the Mediterranean vegetables.”
“Great cocktails, cool staff, usually some good tunes when the DJ is around. Lovely atmosphere. Happy hour all day, everyday”
“We planned to pop into Frankie and Benny's next door but found them closed for re-furb. We won't be having breakfast at f&b again! Never thought of Chiquito for breakfast before but it's awesome. All the food is freshly grilled rather than fried and it actually looks better than the pictures advertising it. Taste was superb. If you've not tried it I highly recommend. The waitress that served us was lovely and checked regularly that we were happy.”
“Lovely little place in the middle of Yate shopping centre. Great food at amazing prices, lovely friendly staff and moat of all, very clean. Great job guys.”
“Beautifully cooked food with great tastes. Will definitely eat there again. The lamb madras is recommended!”
“Really really yummy food, quick service, great prices.”
“Fresh and delicious. Really enjoyed the chicken chimichanga and beef burrito. Very quick delivery too, thanks very much!”
