“Sara was the best host and the B&B is lovely and quaint! 15 of my wife's family stays there for our wedding and Sara couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, from fresh baked welsh cakes on arrival, organising a cooked breakfast for everyone the morning of the wedding to even allowing & taking the children to see all the farm animals. a beautiful cottage in a great location for big groups and families I couldn't recommend it more highly! Thank you Sara!”

“So it turns out that there’s more than one of these cafes and this one is great too. Location is fantastic on the corner of Victoria Park and the corner position is ideal for catching some sun on a nice day. Food and coffee is excellent with the savoury Welsh cakes being a signature option here and at the Roath location. Really friendly staff - shout out to Robin for a lovely conversation with my breakfast. They also had posters up for Dirty Gnocchi doing evening food there, so we will definitely be back for that. Unexpected in this location but definitely recommended. There’s also parking outside, which is at a premium in this area.”

“A proper cafe that doesn't try to be pretentious. The food is really tasty and the prices are very reasonable. I had the large breakfast and it's really was large. Coffee nice and hot and the service was quick. If you want simple food, done really well and at a great price, you won't get better than this cafe. I can't recommend it enough.”

“Nice coffee shop on the outskirts of town, decent menu, nice seating area, perfect for working or meeting without having to go into the city centre. - it is a little cold down here but they are trying their best to warm it up with portable heaters etc.”

I know) I'll be back though. It's a small tea room with extra seating upstairs, all very relaxing. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Me and my friend ate here tonight... I had the mixed grill. The food is so fresh and tasty and the guys there are really polite! Great service and amazing food, what more can you wish for!? Sadly we're not from the area and only working down here for two weeks. When you work away a lot you relay on Google for good reviews, which we use a lot. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!! “I’m hoping to move to Cardiff later this year so have been exploring the city for my favourite spots, and this is definitely one of them! Bakers is so beautifully decorated and the vibe in there is amazing. There is so much to choose from food wise and it all looks delicious, from homemade cakes to pancakes, breakfast items and afternoon tea. The staff are so wonderful, super attentive and friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. I can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu, thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“I would recommend Windsor Tea Rooms in Penarth. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The seating outside is dog-friendly. The food is lovely and a traditional home-style. We often pop into Windsor tea rooms after our weekend shopping in Penarth.”

“Really cannot rate this escape room highly enough! The kids did the ‘Steampunk’ room and the adults the ‘Peaky Blinders’. It was brilliant fun and really well managed to ensure we were given hints at the right time to make the game flow brilliantly. The attention to detail and props are all brilliant and all superbly run by the hosts. None of us had done escape rooms before, but we will definitely be back.
