“Really comfortable way to watch films. The bar area is very smart with a great atmosphere in the evenings. If you're having food it's best eaten at a table in the bar rather than off your laps in the dark! Less messy too.”

“Lovely old theatre, centrally located, seats quite comfortably with leg room so your knees are not rammed up against the seat in front. We saw Thank ABBA for the music. They are a fantastic group, the best abba tribute band around, the stage, lighting and even base sound was spot on. The staff were friendly and efficient, a credit to Blackwood. The theatre brings people into Blackwood town for pre theatre drinks and meals, which helps local businesses. Let’s hope Caerphilly county council realise this and don’t close the place. Thank you for a wonderful evening.”

“It's a lovely nursery. We have use it for both of our boys and both were happy to attend. The meals provided are healthy and freshly cooked in situ. The staff encouraged the kids to play outside and when older they do a lots of art. Also the teacher introduced Welsh that is helping the kids to familiarise with the language before attending school. We appreciate the drop off and pick up inside the building and the little feedback that the teachers often provide not only on the app but also face to face. They are always on top of their game, and they are very caring of children's belongings. It is a screen-free setup but they take plenty of pictures of the child enjoying the different activities. We also like the clear communication in regards to the monthly fee always provided in advance”

“This store caters for Muslims and is 100% halal. The food here was better than expected after planning to visit an alternative restaurant which was small and didn’t have enough seating. There was a party of 8 of us, there was plenty of seating at slam burger. Service was great, menu was easy to understand. Waiting was not an issue and a tag was provided and was ready to pick up when beeping. Restroom was pretty clean for the general area. And lastly meal was enjoyable for everyone except the chicken wings were a little bit on the salty side. Meal costs from £5-12 at time of review which was very affordable. People who leave bad reviews for deliveries can’t expect the food to be perfect… Overall very decent place to eat. Thanks!”

“Had lovely room but there'd been a leak so moved to a suite. Very good stay. I wasn't well, the maids left me peace. Refrigerator was useful so I was able to keep cold water and a sandwich fresh. Only negative there's no light without getting out of the bed in the sitting room. Helpful staff. Free parking. Clean, quiet, 8 minute walk to the Bay.”

“Everything about The Botanist is lovely. The staff, food, atmosphere, and a big emphasis on the drinks. Monday through Friday from 4 to 7pm you can enjoy happy hour, I certainly did. With a nice price and a 2 for 1 deal, you certainly get all the drinks you need. I was there celebrating a family members birthday and they went above and beyond, including a decorative dessert board. The hanging kebab you’ll find no where else, it definitely doesn’t disappoint. This is a perfect place to have some nice photos at your table or the bar with its greenery and low lighting. Be mindful of all the steps (there is an elevator). The staff are also very understanding about arriving a few minutes late to your reservation time. Definitely make a reservation if possible. Earlier in the evening you should necessarily need one, but better safe than sorry to miss out.”

“The cardiff clinic was the closest to me ref surgery pre and post care. From again the first meet everyone was very friendly, I met with Corrina - clinic manager who is always a friendly welcome on arrival , helpful proffessional . Ella - Receptionist always helpful nothing is too much to ask. Nurse Caroline - Friendly professional, again skilled in her area no question is too much.”

“10/10!! Just want to say a massive thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff that was working on Tuesday 4th February! My cat was hit by a car ( we think) and I turned up such a mess, Hannah took my cat straight away and checked her over, the receptionists were absaloutly golden, so compassionate. They had answers and solutions straight away! They kept me updated constantly, offered and explained everything to me and now My little warrior is home on the mend! I can't recommend or thank them enough!”

“There is a regular Northern Soul disco evening, upstairs, that's open to the public without pre booking. You can pay on the door. Very reasonable drinks prices and a friendly and fun crowd. The DJs use real record decks.”

“Fantastic facility for gymnastics. All children are encouraged to develop at their own pace, and every achievement is celebrated! Reasonable prices and committed coaches! My daughter loves CCYC and I would recommend any new gymnasts to join this club.”

“Been here with the youngest for open day and interview. Staff were really helpful and tried hard to find the right course. Campus is really nice, with a variety of room sizes. Lifts seem very slow and a lot of stairs but very open and light building otherwise. Really like it as the campus has really friendly and inviting feel. Bonus for inclusive toilet which while it's disabled toilet as well kinda makes sense but actually has bin for incontinence products and dispenser for sanitary products so Meets needs of disabled persons often that disabled toilets don't include. Also impressed they had poster for safe space for students of colour and BAME persons. Staff really pulled out stops to find right course for my youngest working throughout summer to find good academic fit.”

“Feels as though it would only need some terraced miners cottages and a pithead gantry in the distance to make it completely authentic. The library and reading room have the air of past times. The hall above reached by the staircase with the stained glass window is more functional but useful for events”
