“Right around the corner for our stay in Cardiff, we found this restaurant via Google Maps. It was a fantastic surprise. The interior was quiet, beautiful and had an excellent atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, personable and professional. We sampled a lot: hummus with pita bread, lamb, stew, chicken, beef, dolmeh (grape leaf wraps, I believe), doogh (a yogurt drink), mango drink and a Persian-made tea. The portions were very large and everything was delicious. We left with a very positive opinion of the restaurant; one of our best dining experiences in Cardiff.”

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Lady behind the counter also helped to keep my Son entertained whilst I waited. I will be back :)”

“My 3 year old son loved it here. It's all divided into different shops/occupations around the outside, with an open space in the middle for playing with vehicles etc. He loved exploring everything. There is even a postal service. A lot of thought has been put into everything. At the end of the session, they put on a tidying up song, and all the children help to put everything away, which is a great idea.”

“Have never been to an old-fashioned cinema before and this one was an absolute gem - full of character! This was my little boys first experience to a cinema, and the team went above and beyond for us. The price of tickets is very reasonable (£4 per person) and have exactly the same kind of concessions as the big named cinemas with their own bundle deals too, even some alcohol if you wanted. They even do a small interlude before the film starts after the adds for ice cream which is super cute! Although my little boy only made it though the adverts and about an hour of the film, the team actually transferred our tickets to another shorter showing on the Saturday to see if we wanted to try again with him for something a little shorter. Like I said above and beyond! We went as part of our holiday to this area on one of the rainier days but if you are visiting this area, and looking for something to do, I would recommended this over and over again!”

“In May 2025 we attended a shortened performance of The Marriage of Figaro at Southampton Mayflower theatre as part of my daughter’s Bronze Art Award. She thoroughly enjoyed it and would attend more opera in future.”

“These two amazing ladies managed to groom my two elderly (and very anxious) Jack Russell Terriers last Friday. I was totally amazed as they won’t even let us touch their claws. This salon was recommended to me by a friend, and this is the very best place to go if you have an anxious dog. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and we will definitely return if you will have us again!! So very pleased with the whole experience - thank you so much ladies.)”

“Took my cordless, stick Dyson to Elecro Mend and so glad I did. Brilliant customer service from Justin, who explained clearly what the problem was and how he could fix it. It was like new after he'd fixed it. He also gave advice about general care, to prevent further problems arising. A proper old-school business focused on customer care. Well worth the journey to Barry (some lovely shops and cafés on the road too). I highly recommend Justin and Electro Mend.”
