βA great park, lovely open space for walking the dog. With a little play park for the kids. Also has tennis courts that are maintained to a good standard. Public toilets available too.β
βOne of the better castles I've visited. Plenty to see and explore, interactive audio download available and very reasonably priced. The cafe and gift shop are quite small but the staff are helpful and friendly.β
βIβve visited flight club twice, once with a group of friends and once for a works Christmas night out. Thoroughly enjoyed both times! After going the first time I knew it would be a great option for the Christmas do, and it was such a good laugh, we played over two boards, next to each other meaning you can still socialise with everyone. You can order drinks to the area but the bar was close by too. After we finished our session we went out to the rooftop area which was great, plenty of space and a great atmosphere. Although youβre outside there are plenty of heat lamps to keep you warm no matter the temperature.β
βI can't thank the staff here enough. We called in desperate need of an urgent appointment for our 8 month old french bulldog Martha-May. The reception staff were extremely helpful and very kindly booked us in straight away. From start to finish, the veterinary team was extremely attentive to Martha-May and could not do enough for her and us. All staff provided a professional and friendly service. We can not recommend the PDSA enough, and I would kindly ask for people to donate any old blankets or towels you may have as they are always in need of these items. Once again, thank you to all the staff of the PDSA cardiff.β
βLovely place to go for walks, quiet and relaxing and meeting people at you pass by.β
βNice place for an evening walk along the cliff edge. You can park the car in the nearby free car park. Would be nice to have an extension of the rail line from nearby Penarth station though.β
βI had an amazing Experience!! From the get go everyone is as so lovely and I am extreemly happy with my results! They were very open and honest with me with what could be achieved with my hair colour, but I was still extremely happy with my finial results. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back for other treatments myselfβ
βWe had what turned out to be a bit of an emergency the other day. The vets handled it perfectly and probably saved our dog's life. Always good service here. Thank you β€οΈβ
βI love this park a park of serenity for me. Not to big. So a nice gentle walk around the circumference is very relaxing. I took my pack lunch But did not realise that the cafΓ© is now open. The park is nicely spaced out with different activities, children areas bowling greens. The wildlife is especially friendly. With squirrels and birds eating from my hand. The ornate fish pond is nice to see with a nice water fountain in the centre of the pond. A great place for me to dwell on life. And what l saw it is a great place for family's..β
βVery very nice cooked breakfast, quality ingredients. One suggestion is that the eggs Benedict should come on a cut in half breakfast muffin rather than a whole one.β
βFurikin PawWalker went to the vet for his first year booster. Apart from wowing the staff, he had great experience. He particularly liked the window near the scales. Thanks to all the staff for making his visit calm and gentle.β
βI called into toolstation on Thursday this week as they were recommended.I was greated by Leigh who was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to help find the product i needed. Thank you Leighβ
βStaff are very friendly and understanding, food is always fresh and good. Great customer service. Recommend to allβ
βBlessed that this stretch is on my daily running route. Wonderful views with skies ranging from neon blues to dramatic greys across the yearβ
βIdeal location just staying off the M4. Yes you can hear the noisy traffic but its not disturbed our sleep - the heavy rain did more damage to that ( and some dogs barking!!) Amazing family bathroom - with shower, bath and toilet all in one room for young families only. Everything is clean tidy, level gravel pitch. Very friendly staff. We have enjoyed our stay here with out 3 young children. So much room to go off on our bikes, play park etc.β
βReally beautiful park. Suitable for all ages. Perfect for a day out. The water playground is big and is ideal for summer. Facilities like chaging rooms and toilets are available. Plenty of parking available. Drone shot of the park :Dβ
βI have read the recent negative review and cannot disagree more. My wife and I come to The Clarence most days of the week and find it to be clean, the staff are very accommodating and pleasant; nothing appears to be too much trouble and the food is very good. The park itself is lovely and it just goes to show you cannot please all of the people all of the time.β
βFour adults and a four year old. We've just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Riverside. Yes, there were a couple of negatives, and no, we didn't raise them at the time as we managed to combat them, and they didn't distract from the really good time we had. The caravan we stayed in was a six birth. Whilst there were ample cutlery, crockery & and glassware, we felt that the pans provided were of poor quality and inadequate. There was only one shelf in the oven. We expected that there should be two. And lastly (and it's the same issue at virtually every other holiday let We've stayed ), the knives in the knife block were all blunt. (The wife's tongue is sharper). May have as well used a hatchet. Apart from those minor issues, the caravan was clean and tidy. The site was well laid out and well maintained. All the staff were helpful and friendly and went about their duties diligently. We only used the restaurant a couple of times. I'm not a fan of carveries myself. However, I have to admit that the one we had at Riverside was really enjoyable. We also sampled the "build your own pizza." Outstanding. It's probably the best pizzas we've had. Pleasantly surprised at the prices at the bar too. It's more than reasonable. Well stocked with a wide choice of drinks. Apparently, we visited during the last week of low season and were informed that most of the week it would be quiet and entertainment would mainly consist of bingo, quizzes and karaoke. The best would be done to involve any children (of which there were very few). Lee, did an excellent job keeping us entertained. The bingo and quizzes were made really entertaining, and the children always came away "winning" and ice cream despite not even playing. For the number of people that were there most evenings, the prizes were very good. To summarize a very clean site offering friendly value for money service and amenities.β
βBeautiful park, well kept by volunteers Clean and tidy Beautiful gardens Tabletop sale weather permitting Mon/Wed/Thursday 9 - 2-15, raising funds for thr park. Fish pond, unfortunately, is broken. It has a leak, and under investigation by the council The cafe has closed down. Friendly squirrels Toilets closed downβ
βA beautifully typical victorian park, tended regularly for some fabulous floral borders, they hold an array of events and the bowling green is very popular.β
βBrilliant little zoo! Highly recommend going to all the talks about the animals, highly knowledgeable keepers and entertaining talks too. The talks allowed us to get a good view of the animals that were otherwise snoozing out of sight as the keepers feed them as they do the talk encouraging the animals to come out. It was such a hot day when we went we probably wouldn't of had much of a chance to see the serval and bobcat if we didn't attend the talks/feeds for them. Amazing play areas for children! There's a large indoor one in the cafe and a couple of outdoor ones too. CafΓ© food was good and staff were lovely. We had so much fun there, highly recommend going if you're in the area!β
βBased in a popular retail park just across from the Cardiff city football stadium, with a huge free parking lot next to it. This is a great Costco, never had any issues here, it's always nice and clean. Lots of in-store deals, and always seems to be plenty of tasters available in all the different aisles to tempt you into buying something you didn't come in for. Their in-store hot food is fantastic and so is the "fast food" after the tills, just be prepared to queue as it's always moving slow for their popular food after the tills. Would advise visiting the food court before doing your shopping as it tends to get very busy.β
βWe had Ladies Captains Away Day on 8th August and it was absolutely fantastic. Golf course condition was perfect, customer service in Pro shop was excellent and food was absolutely amazing. Thank you very much for a wonderful day. LC Jo Xxxβ
βBrilliant soft play area with area as well for under 1 years. The pumpkin picking patch was picturesque and such a great spot for children of all ages to explore and enjoy. Food was great, with good selection. Their tuna jacket potatoe was spot on and the 'dead' velvet cake was devine!β
βOne of the best farm days out we have had. Really good value for money. There's loads to see and do here like Tractor rides, quads in the barn etc. Highly recommend for all the family.β
βLiz was lovely and really helpful when visiting this store on a quiet, weekday evening. Even though it was close to closing time, Liz was really helpful by answering our questions and taking the time to ensure we fully understood everything. We will definitely be continuing with our purchase here!β
βRhys could not have been more helpful, coming off the tills despite it being quite busy to help replace some screws from my partnerβs wheelchair. Really appreciated!β
βAlways a fantastic rage of items and serviceβ
βGreat place to play an 18 hole, dinosaur themed outdoor mini golf course. 15 minute drive from Cardiff centre, via the lovely scenic Rover Way. Price is par for the course when it comes to mini golf in Cardiff at Β£8.50 per person. There's also a soft play centre, driving range and golf shop here. Plenty of free parking outside for both the golf centre and the soft play area.β
βWe have used Park Vets for the past 25+ years and always found them excellent. Over the last nine months our dog Harry who was 15 under went an operation on his neck. It was a great success and he bounced out of it, with a new lease of life. Sadly he was taken ill in July and it was decided he would have teeth out. Following tests it was found he was a very poorly boy. We made the sad decision for him to be put to sleep. Through all of this the practise were excellent, in particular Michaela made this sad process easier to bear. All staff were so lovely and supportive. I would recommend them to everyone.β
