“Had a pleasant 2 night stay here for the Oasis gig in Cardiff. The lady at reception on the day was so pleasant and friendly when we checked in. Rooms were comfy & airy for the hot July weather. I had left items behind in the hotel when we checked out, both Rachel & Georgia went above and beyond communicating via email about my lost items and posted them out to me again. The customer service was excellent and for that alone I would recommend this hotel. Thanks guys!”

“The service was amazing, perhaps the best I've ever experienced. There weren't many vegetarian options as I went with a vegetarian (I am a meat eater). The beyond burger was very good (especially for a vegetarian burger). The cream soda wasn't sugary enough. The chicken finger were very good too. It wasn't cheap but definitely worth it, I recommend it as more of a birthday eat out than something casual. Please note that this is upstairs so if you are afraid of heights stick to the storefronts.”

“Currently Newport's only chain cinema and one of only two Cineworlds still in operation in the South Wales area (Cardiff, of course, is the other). Very good sound, a large concessions stand, disabled toilets down both screen corridors, seating to use whilst waiting for screens to be cleaned, the usual Baskin Robbins counter, an on-site Starbucks (a fairly new addition during the last few years), ample free parking and some rather friendly staff are all plus points of this venue. It's undergone a huge renovation since the olden days but it still retains the same spirit. Give it a visit and see!”

When we arrived to the store to collect the pizzas the doors were still open, it was already 23:20 and the staff informed they close at 23:00 but they still took the order we made online. The Aqua Park sell drinks, ice lollies, crisps and snacks at fairly reasonable prices. Water is cold but wet suit isn't necessary if you don't mind colder water.”

“I was sent to Musgrove A&E yesterday with a dog bite. Every one that saw me, from the receptionist, through to the triage nurse, the X-ray department, the nurse practitioners who assed me, the student, the doctor and finally the excellent nurse practitioner who cleaned and dressed my wounds and administered the vaccines were kind, as gentle as possible and very efficient. Total stay time? 3 1/2 hours. Amazing. Special shout out to Vicky Rae and Abdul. Super stars.”

“Good quiet budget hotel next to the water in Cardiff. Decent rooms with hairdryer, iron (and board!), kettle, decent shower. Breakfast is basic but for the price is fine. No marmite though, which I wasn't happy about. Decent sized carpark for £10 a night. Also a false fire alarm at 715 but that's not their fault - probably some idiot pushing a fire door or vaping in their room.”

We usually order online for in-store collection and find most items are available on the same day. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. We have had to return a few items over the years and have always found this to be a fairly straightforward and painless experience. The shop shares a car park with the wider retail park which can get busy at times. The car park is usually much quieter in the evenings and I have always been able to park fairly close to the entrance. Staff are usually happy to help you take larger items to your car if necessary. There are a couple of disabled spaces near the shop entrance. As these are quite limited, you might want to try to visit at a quieter time of day if you will need a disabled space.”
