“This is one of the best pubs in the Diff!!! Every time we go we love it, we don't intend on staying but we do until the end!!!! Live music atmosphere, and the Boss is an absolute Legend, always busy and he's always smiling and works hard at keeping everyone happy. I've given 5 stars for food that's based on the Irish crisp selection available!!!!”

“Dog friendly micro brewery serving good food and a very large selection of unusual beers. Staff happy to help you choose, that's why I ever up with a black lager! Very nice though.”

“Our favourite place in 2025, WOW, what a place, we are on holiday in Cardiff and came across this place, offering lunch time deal for £8.50, we were not disappointed at all. Please have a look at the pic's. The food was absolutely amazing, right size too, flavours were spot on. The staff here are fantastic too, friendly and polite. Can't fault them. We liked it that much that im sitting in the restaurant right now writing my review im that impressed with here. We can't wait to find a local one to us when home to go to. “Great location to stay. Very close to city, Cardiff Railway station, Cardiff Castle and much more. The rooms are clean and the bed to comfortable. Shower has great pressure. The bar downstairs has a great range of beers and wine. Staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“Our wedding at The Village Hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The venue itself is beautiful, modern, and incredibly well-kept, creating the ideal backdrop for our special day. From the moment we booked, we felt completely supported and reassured. A huge thank you to Kieran and Sue, who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Kieran’s professionalism, attention to detail, and calm approach kept us feeling relaxed throughout, while Sue’s warmth, friendliness, and endless patience made the planning process a joy. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and they truly made us feel like our day mattered just as much to them as it did to us. The food was fantastic, the staff were attentive and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was perfect from beginning to end. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. “Absolutely amazing I couldn’t be more happy me and my partner stayed here for 1 night wish we had booked more lovely and warm all around rooms are beautiful and tidy ! Customer service is outstanding ! Pool and jacuzzi are insane! Food is lovely cooked to perfection staff are so so friendly cleaners are On it all the time ! Best hotel in Cardiff by far ! Great location you have dominoes across the road ! Wish I could give this more than 5 stars so happy! The prices are great! Well worth the money we will be back soon”

“Stylish, clean accommodation. Appreciated the room upgrade. Good facilities, great bathroom. Parking on street. Staff friendly, didn't eat, but cocktails in bar were well made and good value. However, for two night stay we only received £10 Gregg's voucher for breakfast. £2.50, not even sufficient for coffee and a roll. Please will the owners of the Bistro realise they could upgrade to a realistic value. Or maybe send customers to local cafes and thereby support local businesses. Maybe this could be reflected when booking i.e. an optional upgrade when booking online? Feel sure it would make the whole experience nearer the 100% I'm sure you all want and deserve.”

“Best pint of Guinness out of most places I've been to in Cardiff. This place is a sports bar with multiple screens for watching live sports. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, doormen the same. Great place to meet with friends or drink alone. Always something to watch on the screens, footie, rugby mma etc. Vaping allowed inside but smoking cigarettes outside. Relaxed, chilled, great beer & friendly people. Well worth a visit.”

“Had a fabulous 2 night stay at this hotel. After initial hiccup (2nd floor + no lift + bad chest) this was resolved immediately and was put in a much larger closer room on the 1st floor. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating from the front desk to the cleaners to the housekeeping staff. Not modern but that suited me nicely. Brilliant location and more than value for money.”

“They made me put my shoes back on even though I was wearing heels we had a great night boogie our hearts away and George the hot bouncer was very informative with his knowledge of how to use Uber, but refused to give me his number when asking”

“We booked an early check-in however our room wasn't ready due to people before checking out late, we were given complimentary hot drink and also breakfast due to late check in. Kim is an absolute treasure she couldn't do enough and was very apologetic as we were staying there for a bereavement. Would definitely stay there again as good service is rare. Thankyou again Kim”

“My first ever visit to a TGI Friday and I was rather impressed. The staff were friendly and management came out to assist with a specific dietary concern with my guest. The food was hot and beautiful, we even met Darth Vader in the reception entrance to the restaurant. The dips are fantastic, the burger very juicy and super tasty. A definite 10/10 and look forward to returning. By the time we left the restaurant it was buzzing with nearly all tables full. A very popular restaurant in Cardiff. Many Thanks TGI Fridays even on a Monday night.”

“First time visit today and very impressed by the friendly service and delicious carvery. Everything from the beef, gammon and turkey to the roasted parsnips and potatoes to the cauliflower cheese to the sticky stuffing - utterly scrumptious! We were early birds and enjoyed being one of few customers but plenty were turning up as we left. Already looking forward to returning!”

“We've been going to Henrys since the 70's. It's always a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious and service second to none. We were served by Julie who gave us her undivided attention and such friendly efficient service.”

“Stayed at these apartments for a week and it was a really nice place. Nicely decorated and a good location next to the train station. My only complaint is that there was limited car park spaces in the private Carpark, which meant I had to pay hourly/daily rates on the street.”

“We visited the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill several times during our stay in Cardiff, as it was part of the Indigo Hotel. We had breakfast and lunch there while staying at the hotel. The restaurant is centrally located in Cardiff, but it can be a little difficult to spot because it is located on the 6th floor of the Indigo Cardiff. Upon entering, you are greeted by a very stylish and modern restaurant with a lovely grand piano and plenty of seating for drinks before or after your meal. Breakfast was a very pleasant experience. There was a range of options on the continental buffet, and you also get a choice from their breakfast menu. I had "The Favourite," which is smoked salmon, eggs, and avocado on sourdough. It was divine. The continental buffet had everything you would want, including fruits, cereals, pastries, a variety of breads, and more. We then stopped for Sunday lunch, which I have to say was absolutely fantastic. I started with French onion soup, which was sensational. Then, my husband and I both had the Sunday roast. There was so much of it that I couldn't quite believe it when it was delivered to the table. There was so much meat, and the beef was amazingly tender. There was pretty much every side you could want, including Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast potatoes, and a huge array of vegetables, including amazing cauliflower cheese. The service was also fantastic from start to finish. The whole team was highly professional and approachable. I personally cannot fault anything that we had, and every aspect was top quality. I would certainly recommend a visit if you're looking for a fantastic Sunday roast—but make sure you come hungry!”

“Room and decor throughout is very tastefully decorated. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Really good breakfast all you could want. The bed was really comfortable too. A bonus to have onside parking too. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a 1 or 2 night stay here. It was lovely. Well worth a stay here. Oh and only a short walk to seafront too.”

“Stopped off here on our way through Cardiff. Hadn’t been hoping for too much as it was only a quick visit, but walking in and seeing all those fridges — freshly stocked — we ended up staying longer and getting a few cans to take away too. It’s not often you see a shop look after the their stock so well, clearly proud of it. And when another person came in looking for recommendations, I could hear the owner absolutely knew what he was talking about. On draft was a great mix of styles, from breweries local and far. Very reasonably priced and served perfectly. Definitely worth more than a brief stop next time.”

“Great micropub with an excellent range of beers and ciders from casks, cans and bottles. Martin and Diane run a fabulous, welcoming place, with friendly regulars. There's also the infamous quiz most Monday evenings, with Martin's fiendish questions - particularly the specialist subjects.”

“Absolutely great place. The beers on tap are always changing so there is always something new to try. They have lots of other drinks too including amazing coffee. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. They don't do food as such but have snacks and best of all they don't mind you taking in your own food and as Asda is so close a picky dinner is always a good option. I love the fact they allow dogs in, make for such a nice and relaxed atmosphere.”
