“Very friendly staff and their matcha was actually better than at other cafes I've been to. The gentle interior lighting and large windows also make it a comfortable atmosphere. The only change I'd make is to the generic pop music on the radio that can get a bit annoying if you're staying for a longer period. In that case I would recommend having headphones with you.”

“Went here twice and both times, I found seats. Unless it's peak hours, you'll probably easily find seats which is rare and nice.”

“Such a friendly and welcoming staff! The chicken mushroom hand pie is delicious-the crust is so flaky and the filling savory. Along with the Guinness, this is such a great respite in a long day of cancelled and delayed trains.”

“Haggis- I tried it and it was very good. We had the deep fried mushrooms also, the steak was very good and the Brie salad with raspberry sauce was great—-I am sorry the picture does not do it justice. There is an inside restaurant and a patio. The festival has been popping for the whole month of August and they are still engaging people with great hospitality.”

“I went to lunch there before taking the train back home. Service was good, the waitresses are nice and kind. The food was excellent, the meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was tasty. I recommend to go there if you're hungry. Portions are big too, so have that on consideration before taking an appetizer, because you may have no more appetite for the main course”

“We were staying down near the zoo, and this place was fairly close to us. We found the atmosphere to be nice, the place was very clean. We had fish and chips, and the steak pie. Both were very delicious. We tried to come back a few days later, but they were so busy with a large party, the were not serving food until 8pm and we were starving ... it was 6:30. Wish we could've tried another couple dishes before we left.”

“Visiting family in Edinburgh and needed a place to meet for a casual lunch with 4 young kids. Brill value for money and a family friendly pub. Had a great meal and my veggie husband was really pleased with his options too. Staff were lovely. Would definitely go back.”

“My first meal in the UK! Very clean and nice atmosphere to try my first pudding and beans on toast. I am a Yank, so I would much rather have butter and jam on the toast....how did this bean tradition start anyway? The pudding was interesting, the flavor was rich. Overall the food was good and I would definitely visit here again.”

“Just had an amazing steak with king prawns and all the trimmings. 10oz ribeye cooked to perfection by chef Robbie. This comes after an extremely disappointing steak at a well known commercial steak house on Saturday. Robbie smashed them out of the park with a great cut of meat, cooked and served perfectly by Andrew. Thanks to all the staff at Deer Park for a great stay.”

“my wee shih tzu was a really difficult dog to deal with and only let close family anywhere near him.(Smudge) was him name. so I needed someone to walk the dog and look after him when we went on holiday. This was almost impossible until I meet John from Page Pet Services pretty quickly John got smudges trust and manage to integrate him with other dogs. AMAZING. Many times I had to call John out the blue as something crept up and I needed him to take the dog within a few hours and on all the occasions he managed to help out. I would recommend page pet services to anyone. A very trustworthy, professional and really a great company Excellent value for money couldn’t ask for more. Unfortunately my wee man has now passed away and would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thanks for all you have done for me and wee Smudge you were part of his family and his wee face lite up when he seen you. Thanks again”

“Excellent from start to finish. Apartment was fantastic – finished to a high standard, very clean and comfortable. Nice that it’s located right next to the sea front – we enjoyed a walk there. We also made use of the private underground parking, so that was handy. Richard the owner met us on check-in and showed us around the apartment while providing some great advice on places to eat and visit while we were staying. There is a bus stop right next to the apartment and we used that to travel into the city centre. One of the best places we’ve stayed – we will return! Thanks!”
