“Went in for lunch, three took from main menu and 1 from lunch. Food was amazing, all freshly cooked! Service from our attentive waitress was first class! Drinks were reasonably priced! “We stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We had a tuna mayo panini, a cheese & tomato panini, and pancakes , all fresh and tasty. The pancakes were so good that we ordered them again! “I stayed in a 6 person room, everything is clean and well constructed, a locker is available for your kit and locks are rentable for £3 if you forget yours. Facilities are everything you could need and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to do some cooking Staff are super friendly, always give any new arrivals a nice greeting/walk around and can't do enough to help with any issues! For a hostel, it's everything you can ask for and a greet price and location! Will definitely be back next time I'm in the city”

“Traditional pub (hard to find nowadays), fair selection of beers & spirits at reasonable prices, good atmosphere, mostly friendly, funny locals, good jukebox & tvs for the sport. Disabled toilet on the level & others up the stairs. If up that way again, I will definitely go back.”

“Informal and cozy diner style place with signed guitars and old vinyls stuck on the walls and in the ceiling. We had a wonderful evening with amazing food - the Braveheart Burger topped with haggis was SO tasty! Jordan, our waitor, was the nicest person. We came around 18:45, so not too busy as they close at 20:00. The portions are huge, so come hungry. Highly recommended!”

“Nice place. Good ambient with jazz, nice staff, cozy, close of bus station. Cakes and coffee taste. Coffee some better that Costa and Starbucks. Maybe some cutlery not look very nice.”
