Pizza restaurant in Edinburgh

“Mrs. A & I stumbled upon this AMAZING property while looking for a place to eat on our last night in Edinburgh. It reminded us so much of our go to Italian restaurant here, across the pond. The place was PACKED with locals, which to us is always a very good sign. We believe it to be a family run restaurant & they treat you like family !! “While on holiday in Edinburgh I found this little restaurant with traditional dishes from Sardinia. The food was delicious, nice portions and they have some gluten free options. The price is related to quality and healthy food, this is a "slow food" restaurant, which Italians definitely prefer.”

“Came back to this busy restaurant during the Fringe and we were welcomed warmly and found a table for the three of us. Excellent, attentive service. Started out with olives and garlic bread and then on to some wonderful mains. On the pricey side, but this is central Edinburgh and the dishes were overflowing with value. I really enjoyed the Chicken Milanese. We were not rushed out and found time for coffee. Warmly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.”

“Outstanding!! The food here is fantastic: simply delicious pizza and pasta. The service was also great. There was an error in the kitchen which meant our starters never turned up, but the staff apologised profusely and went out of their way to make it up to us (inc. giving the starters to us on the house anyway). Our waiter was Manuel who was excellent, spent time talking to us and giving us a whole range of recommendations for our stay in Edinburgh. Overall, a great Saturday evening!”

“This place is a GEM! My family and I stopped by this spot on a Wednesday evening and we spent two hours just enjoying ourselves and the delicious food! It’s a quaint spot. The services was incredible with there only being one person hosting us. The presentation of the food was just as incredible as the taste. We had the veggie spring rolls, chicken gyoza, cucumber salad, kimchi, edamame, green dragon roll, spicy tuna roll, tuna sashimi, and red dragon roll. — the food was filling and delicious. Honestly we have only great things to say and absolutely recommend this spot! We had a party of 5. There is no alcohol served here.”

“Ordered from Hungry Panda, the student sets of food. The cashier is friendly; besides the economical pricesx here the chicken Katsu rice is so delicious and of very sufficient quantity and quality. Their pork gyozas are very well fried and very tasty. I also love their packaging, every piece of dish and the whole delivery package are very well designed and clean and sealed. Because I did take away, the eat in environment is also really good, tidy and clean, it smells good, looks cozy and comfortable.”

“For a quick lunch for your sushi fix or ramen, this place was really a good location to pick readymade sushi. Ramen didn't take long too and was real noodle and not the instant. It was great!”

“Pretty cozy place with good food. It is quite small so it would be great if there were more available tables but overall it's a pretty good place to visit:) But I would say don't waste your money on a bubble tea, every time I've tried to get it it's either not available or not good tasting, but this is preference after all! Definitely give it a visit”

“Best ramen I’ve ever had in the UK! The broth was very rich in flavour and the egg was perfectly cooked. The chef torched every single piece of pork. Love the Takoyaki too, haven’t had such a good one in so long. There are not many seats so would recommend to go early.”

“First visit to this restaurant after a recommendation by friends Arrived without a reservation and the staff couldn’t have been nicer, needed table back in 1hr 20mins and that was fine because service was super quick Food was freshly cooked, hot and quite tasty although we weren’t overly impressed with the quality of the meat in the beef and black bean & the fillet steak Cantonese! Unfortunately I’ve had better many times so probably wouldn’t rush back. Nice enough but I do think there are better Chinese restaurants”

“I love to visit Sumo. The food is always delicious, and everything feels authentically Japanese. I dine here often, and this is a personal favourite of mine. I would say I can recommend trying the Eel and Sake.”

“Staff were friendly and the Pesto + Burrata pizza was amazing! It was ready quickly and reasonably priced It did come with the ingredients arranged more for visuals so I had to spread out the tomato’s and basil, but every ingredient tasted super fresh and delicious. They’re are a bunch of add on ingredients on the menu; but you can’t actually add them onto the pizzas- only if you’re building your own. Not a big deal but if you go for modifications, might not be for you. Overall I would go back and recommend!”

“My first time with this takeaway and it won't be my last the food was delivered on time and the portions were plentyful and still hot, i'm not much into pasta but i have to admit this has been one that i did enjoy.”

“First visited 3 years ago when in Scotland on holiday had to visit again worth the trip. One of the best places to eat that I been to. Called again 2024 for lunch always have to visit when we are nearby on holiday. Very friendly staff always make a fuss of the dog and food as good as ever. My wife said she just wanted a salad and I ended up with half due to the size of it.”
