Pizza restaurant in Edinburgh

“Chance find on Google when craving for pasta. With tempered expectations we walk into this petite restaurant. The staff were friendly and the restaurant extremely clean. We ordered the Al Sugo and Vongole with a side of garlic bread. Everything was nicely prepared and tasty, the pasta was cooked perfectly. We ended having dessert as well and the affogatos were delicious too. So glad we found this gem. Thanks to the wonderful staff!”

“Went to the breakfast with santa morning and it was amazing! My wee boy really enjoyed it! The staff were fantastic the breakfast rolls were really good! My son really enjoyed the pancakes and bananas, it was well organised, everything was just spot on! was definitely worth every penny!”

“We had a wonderful meal here. 5he food was absolutely delicious and Garry was very attendive We tried seabrass without diary - perfect 10/10, the regular seabrass 08/10, and the pizza 07/10. The vegan dessert was also a highlight, definitely a 10/10. We enjoyed sitting outside, which made the experience even nicer.”

“Visited this Italian often before covid. It has always been a favourite, lovely food. Coming back for the first time after lockdown, the food and the restaurant have changed. And WOW... if I thought it was good before... its even better now!!! I had the Spaghetti Carbonara and it was the BEST I've ever had, so creamy. Delicious. My dad ordered the Pizza bolognese and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We had calamari starter which was also 10/10. Staff were also brilliant, very attentive with quick service. Will be back soon. “Are you looking for sushi?! Then look no further! This place was a great find and even convinced my friend who doesn't like sushi!! The menu is large with many options. I had the combo platter which was about £25 for 20 pieces. The fish was so fresh and tasty I wanted more! The servers were really attentive, asked about dietary requirements too. The restaurant was clean and calming, no loud music just great to get out of the busy taffic of Edinburgh. Next time in in the city I'll be coming back for more!”

“We (2 people) ordered beef fried noodles and king prawn fried rice for lunch. It was really big portion and good value. The fly rice was cooked professionally at Chinese way. Kind prawn was fresh. We tried also the Hong Kong style milk tea which is rare in western world. It was really a surprise. We will be back for sure.”

“Nice food! You get a choice of steamboat, steampot and Korean grill BBQ. The table for each type of meal is set up differently so each table can only choose one though. Range of food for steampot was great! Plenty of razor clams and prawns, even whole sea bass. Service was excellent. Attentive and personable. Highly recommended!”

“Their tempura bowls are top-notch, and really stand out from their regular menu items. They provide free-flow miso soup which is delicious. Make sure to check on their Instagram for which days the tempura is available, because it changes from week to week. The prices are quite reasonable for a sit-down restaurant in Edinburgh.”

“First time at Wagamama's and had a bonus visit since my brother works there. Really good that they take extra care if you have any allergy’s, the food was really tasty, well presented and not too hot. The service is good and didn’t had to wait long. Really recommend if you have any food allergy’s.”

“I’m a fish supper kind of guy, so can’t really speak for anything else on the menu, but the fish here is some of the best I’ve had from a chippy. My wife also raves about the chicken goujons, they’re the best apparently. Never had an issue with service.”

“We had the best meal here on Saturday night. The restaurant was so busy and the staff kept apologising for the wait but we didn't feel like we'd been waiting long at all. The cocktails were so good and the food was superb. Best margherita pizza I have ever eaten. The calzones were huge. The staff and the atmosphere were amazing, we'd go back next time we are in Edinburgh.”

“Came in for a quick lunch, the staff were very smiley and polite, and had great conversations with all the customers. The food was really delicious (I ordered the ravioli, which was in an incredible sauce). It's a little more expensive than most high street chain italians, but you absolutely get what you pay for! Very good drinks menu, nicely styled interior. Lovely venue. Special shout out to Abbie, who served us and was lovely.”

“I stayed at the apartments for 1 night over the weekend for the Christmas markets in Edinburgh. The room was spacious and clean, with many add-ons included - iron, ironing board, blow drier, straightening iron, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, hand soap, hand cream, air purifier, bluetooth speaker, TV. The temperature is automatically regulated but you could request a higher/lower temperature by speaking to staff. The staff was really accommodating and let us check-in 30 mins before 3pm. We had no issues with the room, except a weird sound coming from the radiator every so often. I recommend these rooms highly if you're looking for accommodation near the centre close to shops.”

“Stumbled into this place by accident when looking for a quick pizza to take away. First, I wa impressed by the choice of toppings and then further impressed by how quickly it came out the oven. Got a delicious, steaming fresh pizza in under 10 minutes. Granted we were ordering on the spot and talking out, so all in all a very speedy experience. I see a few complaints here about the delivery time, which hasn't been an issue for me, since I always pick it up myself. So far it's been an absolute favourite in the neighborhood and have been recommending this place to all my friends.”

“Wandered in on 28th October with my nephew after a long day. Intimate and charming little Italian. The food, lasagne and calzone, was first-rate, and the girl serving could not have been any more friendly nor helpful. The montage of Italian culture on the wall is superbly done and adds to the engaging atmosphere of the place. A particularly rewarding experience after the offhandedness we experienced earlier that day at Coates Cafe along the road. Will definitely be back.”

“Quite possibly the best meal we have had the pleasure of eating. Stumbled upon this gem by chance, and how fortunate we are to have done so!! Unassuming from the front this restaurant offered us the freshest food, made to order with absolutely stunning presentation. Welcoming of our young family and very friendly staff made this meal out relaxing from the start! We ordered three different meals and several side dishes. All were beautifully presented and made with the freshest ingredients. Absolutely will be back and so very happy that we found this little gem in the big city!! Definitely recommended to all our friends for whenever they're in town!”
