“The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of food. Everything we ordered was a hit with the family - hot dogs, burgers, chicken-sandwich, chips and so on. We will DEFINITELY order from here again. (I'll be sharing this on Google as well)”
“We had never tried this takeaway place before, but we decided to give it a try. I must say, the food was delicious. Definitely recommend!”
“Nice place. They had baby chair too. Food was served in short time. A plus point as we were hungry. Their pizza was soft . Good for our toddler. Chicken Shawerma were best. I found the kebab a bit dry though. But it compensated by garlic and herb sauce.”
“Best Chinese take away in West Lothian in my opinion, we order here a lot and the food is always consistently amazing and flavourful! Delicious vegetarian options like crispy tofu, crispy spring rolls and amazing egg fried rice. Have heard nothing but good things from meat eater family members, but at least for veggies I can say it's my favourite Chinese to order from. Satay sauce is the best, not too sweet like some places make it and has a lovely nutty flavour as it's meant to be. The veg they use is fresh and perfectly cooked - can't fault this place one bit. Will always be our staple Chinese take away.”
“Pros: Room is clean and large. Utensils and deco are mostly antiquated which I love. Room was warm and radiators worked fine as it was freezing cold outside when I visited. The price is a steal, very affordable considering it's location! less than two minutes to the bus stop and walkable distance to the train station. There's an assesible kitchen with functional microwave and fridge but utensils are for breakfast only a staff said to me. Cons: Locks are jam ,so it's easy to leave your key inside or outside and get locked in or out. It is self service .”
“Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. We are regular customers and have never been disappointed, the food is always fresh, tasty and hot. Extremely highly recommended”
“Quick and friendly delivery. Very tasty food. Thank you, l'll be ordering again.”
“Heard that Taste of China has changed ownership recently so we decided to give it a try. The food was delicious and piping hot. Really is the best chinese we have tasted in a long while. Deserves the five star rating. Will be making this our local chinese from now on.”
“Stopped by for lunch. Baked potato was substantial, properly baked and the side salad was good. Staff were friendly and efficient.”
“First time ordering from Village Tandoori and was not disappointed! The chicken was really well flavoured and moist. The Sag Paneer was really fresh and well cooked and the Nan was huge and really light, and again delicious. The food was delivered quickly.”
“On the way to Murrayfield do yourself a favour, buy temporary membership and have a drink inside. Wonderful! Bit of history. Tartan carpets included. And the best meat pies in Edinburgh if not Scotland.”
“It was a wonderful stay! A lovely room with a great view. Very central and unique. Checkin is easy with the detailed information provided. Fully recommend if you can climb a lot of stairs.”
“Great value for the price. It was cheaper than most hostels, even for a private room for two. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. The furniture isn’t the newest, but it has a nice retro charm. The location is very good – after a 10-minute walk through the park, you can catch a tram straight to the city centre. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful.”
“Delicious, high quality (not greasy) Chinese food. Not many like it in my experience. Was very happy with my Tofu and rice dish. Would it be possible to label all the Vegan dishes online, as I accidentally ordered rice with egg. Thanks Hui!”
“It was my first time in Musselburgh and I went to the first nearby Chinese takeaway. The service was very nice and friendly. The food came fast and was really warm, good portion sizes, and most importantly it was delicious! I would recommend and honestly it's better than 80% places that I've been too. Thank you.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Miley at McDonald’s Miley was absolutely amazing during our visit! I came in with three of my friends, and she helped all of us with so much patience and kindness. Even though we were a bit indecisive, she never rushed us and made sure every order was exactly right. Her positive energy and genuine friendliness made the whole experience so much better. It’s not every day you meet someone who can stay cheerful and helpful while serving a group, but Miley handled everything perfectly. Huge thank-you to Miley for making our visit smooth, easy, and enjoyable. Exceptional service like hers definitely deserves recognition!”
“We went to the restaurant upstairs and the food was excellent. We got the meat pies and the mash. If you haven't had a Carachan dessert yet, I highly recommend you save room to try it. We have been told that the dish is just as traditional as haggis, and we really enjoyed it. The establishment itself was pretty busy, so we had to wait for about 45-50 minutes before the three of us were seated. However, the wait didn't feel too long because we were able to hang out downstairs and have a couple beers.”
