“Absolutely recommend Javits! The staff are friendly, helpful and just great at what they do. The food is by far the best in my area. I've been to every other takeaway within maybe 3 or 4 miles and Javits is by far the best. Hot tasty food delivered quickly! What more could I ask? Definitely be back! ”

“Treasure Cottage is one of the best Chinese Takeaways in West Edinburgh City. The food is super tasty, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, every order has been fantastic! I love that you have the option to have wet or dry food, some places don't offer that. The sweet and sour sauce is a bit too sweet and artificial, it would be nice to have a homemade one with white onions in it as it's very chemically. The Satay sauce could be a bit thicker too, just my opinion/suggestion. Apart from that we always have a great takeaway from here and we would highly recommend! Delivery times are usually around 60-90 minutes so best to order early but obviously it's changes depending on where you live etc.”

“Was warmly welcomed by Tracey on reception who was most helpful. Room was much better than expected for a 3 star hotel, very clean and fresh, decent shower, and fluffy towels. The bed was quite comfortable, could've used an extra pillow, but that's just my preference. Onsite restaurant ,Oscars, had a good choice to suit most palates, I particularly enjoyed the steak pie. Overall, a very nice stay, and I would stay there again in future.”

“A great takeaway. They use real chicken for a start not they usual mushy stuff. Just had a chicken curry and was fantastic. Lovely chicken, chunky onions and a sauce that was well balanced for spice and taste. Not had a bad meal from these guys and always delivered in a good time frame too. Would highly recommend.”

“Lovely Coffee place just beside the Travelodge Dreghorn. Starbucks it’s always a great place for a coffee or for a quick snack… This time I had the pleasure to try a delicious type of Chai Latte, Normally I always have the normal one but this time they offer me the Iced Chai latte and was Fabulous… Thank you Dreghorn team to introduce me this delicious drink I had as well the ham and cheese sandwich toasted and was really good The cinnamon roll was little bit dry but was ok”

“Very pleasant experience, the food was good and the staff was very friendly expecially this employee with the tag Crewmate Matheo was super friendly and polite. The only reason i cant give it a 5 star is because they didnt take cash(shocked to my core btw) and ice cream machine was broken but i suspose i was just unlucky i guess that day. UPDATE, came back after 2 years place got even better and once again this time actually MANAGER Matheo was a delight to be served by, and the food was even better.”

“Dining here with friends after a class session at the ECA North East Building. It was during Easter time so my friends got to try a variety of the Easter special menus while I ordered the fish and chips. It's delicious and pretty affordable, in my opinion. The staff are lovely with a quick service :)”

“Got a Munchy box from here and it was a very good size. I also got chicken satay and it was a lot of food, and very well done. Plus they’re open pretty late which is great as many others close before my kids are asleep”

“We tried Gilmerton Wok when both of our usual takeaways were closed, and we've never gone back to either of them! The food at Gilmerton Wok is the best Chinese food that we've tasted in ages. I particularly love their Singapore fried rice - just enough of a kick without going over the top. The people behind the counter are always friendly and chatty, and even in busy periods, it doesn't take ages to get your food. We've never tried delivery, as they are so close to us, but there is a constant stream of delivery drivers, so it must be a very popular choice.”

“It is a nice McDonald's. It is very easy to access as you drive into Straiton retail park you notice it. They have a drive-through, car parks and inside-outside seats. I regularly go to get a Big Mac. The place itself is nice and clean. The staff have treated us nicely. An item was missing from our order, I asked them and they provided that with no fuss.”

“It's a McDonald's, you know what to expect. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. A bit slow on the clearing tables but I think you should clear your own. I will be back.”

“I live in liberton and trying to get a taxi up that way in the morning isn’t happening for a good 30-50mins. And I always forget about bluebird as from the town but there at your door within 5-10. Which is what I always need as run late constantly. After 5-6pm find them hard to get”

“Maybe we were lucky and got a really nice room with windows, but had a lovely stay for a good price. Very clean, comfy beds and the bathrooms were better than expected for this kind of accom. We needed more towels in the room and communal toiletries in the bathrooms would have been nice but I understand this poses hygiene issues. Again judging from the other reviews maybe we were lucky but we also couldn’t hear our neighbours at all during the night.”

“This restaurant is located in the Dalmahoy hotel Country Club upstairs with a bar. This is a little more casual than the other restaurant The Pentland Restaurant.”
