“Our stay in Circus Lane was ideal. We have stayed in many self catering properties and this one certainly rates in the top three. Everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. We were met on arrival and shown where everything was. Many thanks for the flowers, lovely touch. Property was spotless and bed very comfortable . En suite shower superb. Situated within a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants and walks along the river. Not far from the Botanical Gardens. Frequent buses if needed. Thank you Great Base, would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.”
“The appartment was beautiful! Very bright and spacious. The location was really close to the old town and main attractions. We didn’t even use the bus, it was like 20 min walking distance. Definitely recommend!”
“Excellent reception! Although we arrived early, they welcomed us warmly and prepared the rooms for us. They even upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel’s location is truly fantastic, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to the young lady who received us — her hospitality was outstanding. Fahad & Maha”
“Jayne at Trailfinders was amazing! So helpful, patient, and accommodating with all our honeymoon requests. She made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend!”
“I've used the Premier inn Hub before and I love them. The rooms are small but if all you need in a room is a place to sleep and a place to wash with a TV to chill with at night then that's fine. Downstairs is lovely you can order some foods but they only have 5 items (which I'll add the menu if you want to see what) but if you want to gonout for food ans drink you have alot of choice from an indian up the road to adventuring the old town and a walk across to Princes street you'll find something. They do have a good selection of drinks if your wanting a nice quite night in”
“Ive stayed at these apartment quite a few times now . The first time i stayed i had a little trouble with a broken balcony door and problems with the hot water. The apartment was great , spacious, clean, modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff apologized for the trouble i had my first stay and gave us a free nights stay on our next booking. I have been back to these apartments a few times since and haven't had any problems at all . The staff are friendly and helpful . There is restaurants and bars close by . An asda within 10 mins walk. The price is very reasonable and you get a discount if you book direct. I intend to stay at the apartments again for our next little city break overall great apartment and great staff .”
“I stayed in Dickens properties twice this year for 7 weeks in total. From the support with booking and payment, the high standard of maintenance, white goods, furnishings and decor of the flats and the communication regarding my deposit being returned (no issues with it being returned in full) I can recommend Dickens as reliable and upfront. Questions on the property after check in were answered quickly. Will definitely come back and stay either of the two flats I stayed in this year.”
“Spacy Apartment in a quiet corner, however Shops, Cafés and Haymarket Station in near vicinity.”
“This was our first time in the city and this was the ideal place to stay, it was surrounded by great places to eat and drink. The accommodation was amazing, it was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was perfect and had a good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definately recommend it to anyone coming to the city.”
“I was a tenant with A Flat in Town and couldn't have wished for better agents for my first rental. Lynne was my property manager and was really friendly and helpful in response to any queries I had, always going above and beyond. Any issues that did arise with the flat were handled quickly and efficiently. I would thoroughly recommend A Flat in Town to anyone looking to rent in Edinburgh in future!”
“Very comfortable neat and clean”
“Exceptional service, Catherine was a 10 star help”
“My wife and I treated our adult children and their partners to a European trip with our first stop being Edinburgh, where we stayed at the Edinburgh Address / Adore Scotland location. The apartment was exactly as described and our whole family loved our stay! I highly recommend this location!!”
“A very calm and clean place with friendly staff. The room was bright and tidy, equipped with a hairdryer, iron, and a kettle with coffee and tea. Highly recommended.”
“This place is an absolutely amazing wee find, (take road to mansion) and cheaper than a normal campsite. Pods are clean and really cunfy, some even come with picnic benches and barbecues! Such a beautiful space and so quiet, the set up for campfire is well thought out surrounded by benches all round & there is a even a store with free firewood. Owner has volenteers working on the area so can only imagine it will get better and more beautiful in time if that's even possible. One I'll be going back too again and again.”
“Great hospitality. They allowed us before the checkin time as the rooms werent occupied. At the day of check out, they were very kind enough to store our luggages with them as we headed to sight seeing and we had evening train. The rooms were clean and the products give were neat and clean. Keep up the great job..”
“We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. Staff is very helpful, rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. They also offer free luggage storage service.”
“Great location for a great price. Very conveniently close to a lot of monuments - can walk to a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants and sights within 20min. Yes, the sound proofing could be a bit better, but I've noticed that it's a common flaw in most Scottish buildings. We were a party of 4 and the apartment we stayed at was very accommodating. Didn't interact with any staff but it was easy to move around and check in/out on your own. Yes, the elevator can only hold two people w/ two bags, but what do you expect with smaller/older apartments. The macerator feature was interesting but we understand the usage, though yes, the sound can be surprising (especially for people new to it). Overall, a solid stay - would stay at again!”
“Edlets was the best company I encountered when looking for a place to stay n Edinburgh. Very professional, responsive and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend them.”
“We booked a 2-hour Harry Potter tour in French. Our guide was very friendly, spoke excellent language, and had many interesting things to share about Edinburgh, its history, and the connections between the city and J.K. Rowling/Harry Potter. Our daughter was thrilled, and so were her parents. We also appreciated the addresses the guide shared with us verbally and via text message after the tour. We didn't have enough time to try everything, but the hot chocolate recommendation was a real treat! Thank you.”
“My wife has just completed a probate sale with this estate agency. As well as being a delicate matter we needed a lot of support from Victoria and Stephen as we lived nearly 300 miles away from Edinburgh. These lovely people were outstanding from start to finish. They handled all the viewings and retained the keys ensuring the security of Mum’s house through to completion. Not only that but amazingly they managed to achieve a fantastic price, which I know Mum would have been pleased with. In difficult times this estate agent will not let you down and will surpass expectations. * * * HIGHLY RECOMMENDED * * *”
“Outstanding service from the beginning continual updates following the booking with link to the company app for additional extras to make your stay more personal. Lodges are excellent and spotlessly clean and well stocked with home comforts like outside BBQ, Nespresso machine, large TV and Bluetooth speaker and large hot tub, along with everyday cleaning products. Arrived late but directions provided bring you straight to the door, opening up the curtains in the morning and what a view, scenery is breathtaking and you won't need the TV, watching the outside ever changing and enjoying the large hot tub watching the stars is all you need. We took advantage of meeting and feeding the animals with Damian and meeting the ponies Elizabeth, our daughter who is autistic really enjoyed this and was the highlight of her holiday. Site provides a pop up coffee shop which is sent via text message to say when they are open and an honesty shop for food, snacks like cakes and ice-cream along with gift products. There is so much more we could share but best you see for yourself, we would highly recommend and can't wait to return ourselves.”
“Fabulous apartment in the most perfect location - easy walking distance to everywhere you want to go in Edinburgh. Great restaurants and shops on the doorstep - honestly, you couldn't ask for better. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a great stay.”
