“We have been with Lamond Vets for 3 years now. We joined when our previous vets misdiagnosed the condition of one of our cats which ended up with the partial amputation of his tail. We now have all our three cats registered with Lamond Vets. All three are rescues from the Scottish SPCA. We feel that we have received an excellent level of service by the practice, both vets and nurses. The place is welcoming the moment you step in, with the receptionists always treating you with a smile. We felt we were in good hands when one of our cats had to undergo an operation and treatment, and we were confident to get our third rescue, an older fragile beautiful boy, as we knew that Lamond Vets would have our back. If you live in West Lothian, there is no other place I would recommend for you to take your beloved animals. Basil & Tulay”

    Albavet Veterinary Surgeons - Kirkcaldy

“We had a bit of an emergency when our dog ate something she shouldn't have. They're not our usual registered vets as we were visiting family. Albavets saw us quickly and the staff were really helpful and reassuring. They explained clearly what they'd do, and will also send the notes to our usual vet, which is helpful. The price for the emergency consultation was very fair.”

“I've been with this vet for 2 and a half years and unfortunately my wee 17 yr old cat passed away at home, they were nothing but kind and caring when I had to bring him up, specifically one of the women at reception I wish I knew her name for the amount of help and empathy she gave me. I haven't had to go through this before and I was assured not to feel rushed. They always looked after my lil man and receiving the sympathy card I was so thankful to have his paw print and some of his fur ❤️”

“Been using Albavet since I moved to Dunfermline 3 years ago and can't fault them, great friendly service for all our cats at reasonable prices. Whether it's all the staff gushing over how cute your ginger kitten is (and how much they've enjoyed getting cuddles off him whilst he's been in!) or just sending a card when one of our cats has died (even once when we didn't get the chance to take them to the vet and just had to tell them over the phone after the fact) Albavet always seem to add that extra personal touch that is so appreciated. Thanks so much.”

They took my dog out our arms as soon as we walked in there was no delay and the team updated us as soon as they could! I also received a call to update me on how she was doing and they let me call during the night for an update. Honestly the whole team were fantastic and my dog is recovering well.”

“Olga is simply amazing! Our dog Archie had TPLO surgery at the end of July, and the info from the vet was to keep him crated apart from toilet breaks for 9 weeks, and then slowly progressing to 12 weeks. We saw her at 2 weeks post surgery, and her advice was transformative! We progressed so much more quickly than had we followed the vet advice. When we sae the vet again 6 weeks post surgery, he was amazed at how quickly the bone had healed and how the muscles had improved. I would totally recommend Olga to anyone who has a pet post surgery, and indeed to anyone who needs help with their pet with difficulties in moving around. She really knows her stuff!!”

“Our dog had multiple fractured teeth due to chewing things not for chewing, so we got a referral by our vet to DentalVets. Everyone from the vet to the nurses and receptionists were extremely nice and knowledgeable. They emanated love towards all animals, and our dog received great care during her stay. Being such a specialist treatment provider there aren't many options in Scotland but I am glad everyone at DentalVets was so nice. Thank you.”

“Very friendly reception staff and lovely knowledgeable vets at this branch. Very handy to have a local office for the many wee things that go wrong with my elderly cat, and reassuring to know that the big branch in Dunfermline is close enough if something more serious happens out of hours, and their records are linked so I always know they're up to date. I've had my ups and downs with the Dunfermline location (although much more "ups" of late) but the Inverkeithing location is always exemplary.”
