During my visit, I had already spoken with a couple of team members and through no fault of their own, I still hadn’t been able to find the specialist products I needed and that i didn't even know that i needed. I was just about ready to leave the store thinking the trip might have been pointless. Then I met Marry. Marry immediately stopped what she was doing and gave me her full, undivided attention. Her excellent product knowledge, understanding of product placement and her natural desire to help customers meant she knew exactly what I was looking for and where to find it. Thanks entirely to her, I left the store with everything I needed, something that simply wouldn’t have happened without her assistance. Marry is a special person and a genuinely valuable member of staff. Her warm, professional manner and dedication turned my whole experience around. I also spoke with Martin, one of the on-duty managers, who was equally fantastic. Martin saw exactly where i was coming from and he had an Immediate appreciation for Mary's customer service contribution. I hope this nomination contributes towards any in-house ASDA recognition or rewards for outstanding service, because Marry absolutely deserves it. “Currys is a very good company with friendly and supportive staff, and overall they provide a great service. However, the payment and finance process for purchasing items could be improved. Mobile phone companies have a much smoother and more efficient credit-check and payment system, which allows many customers to get approved easily. Currys’ current system feels a bit difficult and less flexible in comparison. If Currys can update and improve their payment/credit approval process, it will make things much easier for customers and greatly increase the value of the service they already provide.”

“After days of visiting numerous sofa shops I stumbled across Instyle sofas in Uddingston. The customer service was great, and the advisor helping us was not too pushy or overly salesy (something which was really off putting in other stores). I was advised it was a family run business which makes all of the furniture in a nearby factory. I was able to customise the sofa I wanted, choose my fabric, altered the armrests as well as the feet. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and gave me some pointers on what to look out for. The sofa took roughly 5 weeks to arrive and I was communicated with the entire time. I wasn’t entirely sure how my sofa would turn out as I had altered certain aspects but thrilled to say I love it. It’s exactly what I was looking for, has been made to a high standard and looks fantastic in my living area, not to forget how comfy it is. The delivery was seamless as well. Very happy with the entire experience and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again.”

“It is a very large and spacious store. There are always members of friendly and staff about who are helpful finding any product you are looking for. They sell a wide range of products from household items to clothing for adults and children as well as electronics. Due to the size of the store it can take a while to find the section you are looking for. I use this shop a lot for men's t- shirts and men's shorts they have a great selection and are very reasonably priced.”
