He is very particular about ensuring the dogs are placed in the best suited group so as to maximise the enjoyment for all the dogs. I’ve also had the pleasure of joining the pack walks on several occasions and it is clear to see how much respect there is between the dogs and Stephen. His experience shines through and the dogs are always having a great time. It’s an added bonus to also receive amazing photos of the dogs enjoying themselves!!”

“Took my 7 month old show cocker spaniel for her first groom here and so so pleased! The staff are all so lovely, knowledgeable and reassuring. My dog was instantly at ease and not anxious at all which was surprising but great. She came out relaxed and looking (and smelling) amazing! Even with a pink bow in her hair!! Hugely recommend. “Really nice shop. The pets all look clean and well looked after. They do cater more for cats and dogs though, so you may be better looking elsewhere for food and stuff for small animals. Friendly staff who have a lot of time to talk about the animals and are happy for you to call if there are any issues with a pet. Would use this place before pets at home as I prefer the personal touch.”

“Local to us but hadn’t tried their restaurant before - though seen good things online! We were in the regular restaurant as Sidings wasn’t open so we’ll be back to try that. It was midweek during the day and wasn’t busy. Service was quick and we were checked in on regularly. They have a good Market Menu Monday - Friday, 12pm - 4pm. We went for 2 courses for £14.95. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Went for the haggis fritters to start and the fish and chips for the main - really tasty and quick to come out!”

“I had only just bought an item when I realised it had passed the expiry date. There were no in-date items of the same type so I was offered two smaller items of the same type or a refund which I took. Joanna refunded me as well as giving me one of the smaller items as compensation. I was impressed with the level of customer care on this occasion just as I had been a previous time when the pharmacist seemed to go out of her way to help me with the issue of providing me with a receipt for the flu jag I had booked online so that I could get a refund from my employer. She had to make a phone call but nothing was too much trouble for her. I'm not quite old enough to remember the 'golden days' of customer service although I am aware of them. I feel that it still exists in this branch of Boots from what I have seen, even if not in many other places.”
