“Our wedding at Cottiers was just, put simply, a DREAM. I fell in love with this venue long before I was even engaged! I just knew it was where we would be having our wedding reception; thankfully, my now husband, agreed! We were blown away when we visited the venue initially. Once all of our decor etc had come together on the day (thanks to our wonderful suppliers and Team Cottiers) we walked into the hall for 'first looks': we were absolutely besotted. Not only is this venue visually stunning and provides the most perfect atmosphere for a wedding, the food was TO DIE FOR. 'Best food I've had at a wedding' is what we've heard on repeat for the last seven weeks now! Lastly, but by no means least - Eve and Erin, our coordinators, were nothing short of phenomenal. They had the patience of saints when it came to my constant stream of questions and emails -for the best part of a year. The girls kept me calm throughout and nothing was too much for them. What a credit they are to this establishment! Both girls are responsible for what we knew would be the most amazingly beautiful day ”

“Smashing pub. Although they had us booked for the following week...we were there for a 'Wake'!! Nonetheless they came up trumps. Super bowl of soup, followed by plates of mixed sandwiches on each table, then a mixture of cakes , also on each table. Followed by tea n coffee. Thank you all staff for a lovely afternoon .”

Great selection of beers and drinks on offer and even do cocktails now. Has a nice outdoor seating area plenty tvs insidebif sports on and all staff friendly. Will be back next time over that way.”

“This place has been given a fantastic make over. Great service and very reasonable prices. I had the beef burger with haggis and my husband and friend had the chicken burger and the chicken fajitas, all very tasty and fresh. £6 for a strawberry daiquiri is roughly the same as Glasgow prices but they were delicious. Will definitely need to go back and fully recommend.”

“Husband ordered burger, no burger left 7pm on a Saturday night, bit disappointed however, he had chicken burger instead, I had chicken fajitas, we had pulled pork loaded fries, brownie&ice cream for desert, omg all amazing, we were served by Ben, i think, who was attentive without being intrusive, polite and an asset to the mucky duck, great example of customer service. Food was best I've had in a long time and very reasonably priced”
