“Lovely traditional English pub. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, even the local geese like them!”
“I have vistited the nags head alot recently. Due to covid i havent been anywhere for the past nearly 4 yrs. Nags head was highly recommended to me i was still very unsure. I finaly plucked up the courage to go out in chapel allerton and the 1st pub i went in was the nags head. I was very nervous but regardless to how i felt i had a very warm welcome by craig and his team they made this a very pleasant visit for where i i felt that comfortable around the team of the nags head and also the customers i stayed there the rest of the night i left around 10ish. I now do go out in chapel allerton but the only place i will go is the nags. Thank you so much Craig for your hospitality and your very warm welcome and look forward to see yourself and your team. Once again thank you very much”

“If all pubs were as good as The Griffin, we'd be a nation drunk in the gutter.”
“Good atmosphere, talkative patrons, the staff are nice even though they are a little draconian and eager to enforce the no mobile rule. I get that it's meant to encourage conversation, but I got told off for trying to check the bus times to see if I had time to buy another pint. It's also hypocritical to then accept payments via phone contact less function. I admit I usually do this to be passive aggressive. Lol”
“I loved this bar. Staff were apologetic for our wait. As alot of customers arrived at the sane time Music was top, the people were smiling and enjoying themselves.”
