“Lovely big, clean rooms with an extremely friendly host. Delicious cooked breakfast every morning. The entrance is right for a large car, but doable. The village nearby has several restaurants and pubs for food as well as two small grocery stores for food.”

“We ordered from the catering menu for our son turning 1, and we were absolutely thrilled. There was plenty of food, it was all very tasty, and the boxes it arrived in were sturdy enough to be reused for people to take home leftovers. We would order from here again. We regularly get sandwiches and iced coffees from here too, and they're always delicious.”

“Fantastic value for money. A really personal touch from all the staff, who couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The bedroom and bathroom were both really lovely and spacious, bed very comfortable and tons of hot water in the sumptuous bath and fab power shower. Downstairs the pub (a renovated period building) has a variety of little snug rooms and open fires, so felt very homely. Hard to believe that this gem is a 20 minute walk from Leeds City Centre!! We will certainly be back!!”

“An unexpected stop for breakfast this morning turned out to be a lovely little find! The décor inside is really nice, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. We sat upstairs and ordered a full English breakfast and a full vegetarian breakfast — both were freshly cooked and delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. I’d definitely recommend this charming spot!”

“An absolute gem of a restaurant! Fantastic location, plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. Food is fab and a great menu to chose from and there is something for everyone! The skewers are so tasty, the tiramisu is to die for and the range and choice of drinks complement each and every dish. Well worth booking so don’t arrive and be disappointed! “An absolutely bloody exceptional meal. Lamb chops, still slightly pink, seasoned to perfection. Complex curries, very spicy, but still delicious and enjoyable. Lovely chippies, massively tasty naan bread. Not exactly service with a smile but professional enough not to detract from the experience. Best part? The price. Two course meal for two and three alcoholic drinks for less than £70. Outstanding. Best curry house in York and definitely in our top three country-wide. Will be thinking about this meal for a while...”

“Wonderful little restaurant in city centre. Easily accommodated for our large group of people. Food was prepared to our liking and served rather quickly, even though we were 14+ guests. Lasagna was delicious and appetisers utilised proper Italian meat and cheese. Pasta was also good. Kind staff was a good bonus.”

I was horrified when the Springs location closed, but was relieved to see they'd just relocated. Anyway, great breakfasts and very friendly! Despite there being a number of alternatives locally, they are in our opinion by far the best in the area. (They also do consistently good jacket potatoes and catering for our staff and client meetings).”

“Stumbled across this little Italian beauty and we are planning to come back asap. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t do more for you. “Amazing AMAZING food! My husband and I stumbled across FISK on our first visit to Harrogate. We got the scallops and cod tikka to start and the king prawn pad Thai and monkfish massaman for mains. All food was impeccable, our waiter was lovely, and the prices were very reasonable. We would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Harrogate!”

“This is only a small chippy but best in Keighley. Great portion size and great price compared to other places. If you look at the negative reviews there for the other chippy down the road called Stockbridge arms fisheries. So don’t let the negative reviews put you off. They don’t use boxes or don’t have a sit in area it’s just a small walk in chippy that wrap your fish and chips in paper.”
