The hotel has been newly refurbished, and the results are absolutely breathtaking. You can see the care and detail that went into this newly refurbished property the moment you walk through the door. The interior design perfectly balances the building's historic charm with a fresh, modern, and high-end feel. My room was part of the newly refurbished collection, and it was flawless. Everything from the stylish decor to the brand-new fixtures felt premium and incredibly comfortable. It is clear that the newly refurbished spaces have been designed with the modern traveler in mind, offering both luxury and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The highlight of my arrival, however, was the incredible welcome at reception. Charlotte was an absolute star! She is an incredible host—professional, warm, and so helpful. She made the check-in process seamless and went above and beyond to make me feel at home in the newly refurbished surroundings. Her passion for the hotel and its newly refurbished features really shone through. If you are looking for a place to stay in Leeds, you have to experience this newly refurbished gem. Between the stunning newly refurbished rooms and the world-class service from hosts like Charlotte, it’s easily the best hotel in the city!"”

“Location of the hostel is good , walking distance to the city centre, 14 min walk to the Triniti shopping centre. Hostel is in quiet neighbourhood, 5 min away from supermarkets and Fast food , restaurants. What I like the most in this hostel is very polite receptionists , and peace and quiet . Even is hostel full , still people respect other people, no noise at all .Even we have a room next to the common area, there is no noise. Kitchen was clean, toilets as well. Breakfast is free, toast bread, lots of jam, honey, chocolate cream, cereals, tea coffee and milk. And they restock all the time.I recommended this hostel and I will back again.”

“First time using the garage as my old one turned me away when i asked about approved parts for my warranty to remain valid and Thorpe brothers gave me a really decent quote, friendly and made sure all my documents were ready including signing service book so everything was done for me collecting it . Will definitely use them again also in a good location easy to get to !”

“We booked accommodation at Ploughcroft Cottage on the recommendation of our son and daughter-in-law. They had stayed earlier in the year, and were incredibly impressed with both the establishment and the owners. Having now stayed there ourselves, it's easy to see why. The cottage is warm and welcoming. Karen & George greeted us with tea and biscuits (including Gluten Free for my wife who is Coeliac), and we had a lovely chat with them both.They are great company. Our room was very comfortably furnished, with a large selection of hot drinks, biscuits and chocolates. Everything was finished to an exceptionally high standard, and the bed was both large and comfy. The en-suite bathroom had a great selection of toiletries, all great quality and was also finished beautifully. This was more luxury hotel standard, than simple B&B. Breakfast was both large and of exceptional quality - fresh fruit salad and juices, nice cereals, followed by an amazing full-English (full-Yorkshire?). Everything on the plate was clearly of excellent quality, and absolutely delicious. Having eaten everything which was available, I found myself unable to eat anything further for the rest of the day! There are great views from the cottage over Halifax, and the nearby pub/restaurant is lovely. Both are walkable, although you'd need to be pretty fit to do so. Needless to say I used the car. :) The stay represented excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back again, and shall look forward to further chats with Karen & George, a really lovely couple who have done their utmost to ensure a perfect stay.”

“We were a small group of 8. Alfred was a great guide. He did an excellent job in walking us through the history of York from the Romans to the railways and was able to link the development of the city to landmarks that we passed - with a great commentary, extraordinary historical knowledge and a lot of humourous anecdotes thrown in. One of the best walking tours I have been on and I would thoroughly recommend this tour.”

“Kevin was such a knowledgeable guide! We really enjoyed the two-hour walking tour, and it’s amazing that it was all free through the Association of Voluntary Guides of York. He took us along the Roman walls and explained the timeline of when the Romans and Vikings arrived in York, which made the city’s history so much easier to picture. Such a great way to see York definitely support these volunteers if you get the chance!”

“We had a wonderful day out on the Steam train, Whitby & the moors tour. Chris was a fantastic tour guide, full of interesting facts and information. The small group made it feel more personal as if you have a private tour guide. The trip across the moors was spectacular! The views breathtaking and Chris would stop off at points where we could get out and take pictures or just take in the amazing scenery. The whole day was brilliant, topped off with the Steam Train journey! I would highly recommend this trip with Chris. Thank you for a fantastic day.”

“Currently having smilewhite treatment at Headrow Dental and after a bad experience with other dentist practices, I was referred to headrow dental and since then have had nothing but positive experience. They are regularly checking up on me and my dentist Dr Aman bharti keeps me at ease and is so professional and friendly. The other members of the team at headrow dental (especially Louise on reception) also make visits here a real pleasant experience, will be continuing to visit this dentist even when my treatment has finished :)”

“If you visit Rosa, you must try the chicken rice — it’s incredibly delicious and tastes just like home in Thailand! The dipping sauce is perfect, the appetizers are great, and the noodles are amazing too. Every dish is full of authentic flavor. The restaurant has a cozy, lovely atmosphere with friendly service. Definitely worth a visit — highly recommended!”

“What an amazing little restaurant/cafe. Don't know why, always thought it was French when walking by but curiously stopped by peeking in at the pastry.... To my surprise its a wholly Moroccan affair. Had to stop for an expresso and a pastry and I won't lie, I'm going to have to come back to try the breakfasts.... And then the lunch..... And then the dinners! Super friendly, warm atmosphere with lovely smelling food! -Edit- Have now been for lunch and can confirm the prices are hella reasonable, the food delicious and seemingly all home made! Highly recommended!”

“Love this coffee shop, mainly come through when work allows but when I do get to come in the staff are always very friendly and can't do enough for you. The coffee is great, top tier lattes and the iced coffee is good in the summer heat. They play good country tunes, the decor is lovely and welcoming. Can't go wrong.”
