βThis restaurant was recommended by a friend and it exceeded our already high expectations! This was genuine Keralan food made to order as we asked about items not on the menu. We had the Railway Mutton Dosa, Butter Chicken with sides. Fantastic service and thanks for our anniversary treat! Big shout out to Suryan! Great evening and we even took food home!β
βFab evening meal here last night - great good, really friendly staff (perfectly on the right side of attentiveness) and very reasonable prices. Unfortunately for this lovely restaurant, its owner and staff, we realised afterwards that we'd seen what is sadly becoming an increasing issue of people running up large bills and then trying to get away without paying: a very loud and entitled family of four were seated near us; we noticed them ordering a lot (and being advised by the staff about portion sizes and what would be arriving, so as not to over-order) and they were very happy, smiling, laughing and talking loudly through their whole meal. The wait staff then took away empty plates at the end. We only saw as they went to pay that the man was now (quietly) trying to create an issue, and after they left, the staff were very upset. We spoke with the owner, and this family had complained that there was a problem with one of the meals - which, to note, they had eaten IN ITS ENTIRETY - so had been trying to blag the whole bill free. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from these obnoxious and selfish diners. From the impact alone on the staff, they should be thoroughly ashamed of what they did.β
βAn absolute gem of a restaurant! Fantastic location, plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. Food is fab and a great menu to chose from and there is something for everyone! The skewers are so tasty, the tiramisu is to die for and the range and choice of drinks complement each and every dish. Well worth booking so donβt arrive and be disappointed! Staff are super tentative and friendly and made our meal special. Thanks and already looking forward to coming back again soon!β
βWonderful little restaurant in city centre. Easily accommodated for our large group of people. Food was prepared to our liking and served rather quickly, even though we were 14+ guests. Lasagna was delicious and appetisers utilised proper Italian meat and cheese. Pasta was also good. Kind staff was a good bonus.β
βWent for the first time last night, fantastic food, we really enjoyed it.... Won't be our last time to visit.β
βAmazing food, Beautiful dining experience would definitely recommend for dining out with family and friendsβ
βA real pleasure to be back at 3 Acres after covid and the fire! The rooms have greatly improved, they now are beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom too was beautiful ...but terribly cold. Lunch and dinner were excellent, service as well.β
βGreat little pub in a lovely village. Excellent food with good range to choose from. Good beers. Superb service. Highly recommend.β
βWe stumbled on the excellent value menu on a Wednesday evening. They have a banquet deal which is incredible value for money. Our group of 4 shared the food and every dish was good quality and really tasty. Everything tasted fresh and was spiced to our liking. The service provided by the young man who looked after us was much appreciated as well. Very much recommend The Red Pepper - especially after a couple of pints of Kirkstall Breweryβs 3 Swords in the Black Horse over the road. Thanks for a splendid evening.β
βLovely restaurant. Beautifully decorated. Very clean and can see the chefs cooking. Staff friendly and attentive. Food is delicious.β
βFirst time trying here. Was busy when we got here which was a good sign. Didn't have to wait a long to be seated. The staff were really friendly and could have a laugh. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the persian chicken tika karhai and the keema rice.β
βDelicious food. Really good for gluten free. Service excellent. I have no idea why they weren't rushed off their feet on a Saturday night. Have the tapas!β
βVery tasty indeed. I love the special keema spicy asian korma here (not your usual mild creamy korma, see picture!) The chapaties are the best I've eaten anywhere, freshly cooked and perfect. The seekh kebabs for starters are great too. Very reasonably priced and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's a shame I dont get to visit more often these days. I would definitely recommendβ
βGreat value for money! The all-you-can-eat tapas buffet is only Β£25.99, and kids under 9 eat for just Β£8. The food is delicious, with a great variety to choose from. Highly recommend!β
βAbsolutely love Spice House The food is always full of flavor and the service is super friendly. Great portions, great prices, and a really nice atmosphere. Easily one of my go to places in the city!β
βIf you are vegan/vegetarian you must try here! The food is so flavourful and the portion sizes are very generous. Such a hidden gem, we will be back!β
βHad a great time at La Besi ! The food was 10/10 ! They even gave us garlic bread on the house. Overall amazing service and even better food.β
βThe future of kebabs is in great hands. We tried these yesterday and had to get them again tonight. They are the tastiest kebabs we have ever had! Served in a naan with juicy lamb thats spiced to perfection and served with salad and the sauces you get with pickle trays, especially that mint one that everyone fights for it was just amazing and so filling. Well done to the chefs and whoever decided to put it as a menu option! Try it out and be prepared to get addicted!β
βIt was a really nice atmosphere for the boys of AMC Hemsworth to have time to enjoy the company of each other! Service was amazing... Could not do enough for us... The food was the best I hadβ
βMy recent visit to Icmeler Turkish Restaurant left me astounded by the exquisite blend of flavors, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance. Nestled in Wakefield, this gem of a restaurant offers an authentic Turkish dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves a lasting impression. **Ambiance:** Upon entering Icmeler, I was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor seamlessly combines traditional Turkish elements with modern touches, creating a cozy yet elegant setting perfect for intimate dinners or lively gatherings with friends and family. **Service:** From the moment we were seated, the attentive and friendly staff at Icmeler ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating to dietary preferences, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction throughout the meal. **Culinary Experience:** The culinary journey at Icmeler commenced with the Icmeler style king prawns and mushrooms bathed in a creamy sauce. The combination of fresh seafood, earthy mushrooms, and velvety sauce was simply divine, leaving me craving for more with each bite. Following this delightful starter, we indulged in the falafel served with hummus and a tangy sour sauce. The falafel was flawlessly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired perfectly with the creamy hummus and zesty sauce, creating a symphony of flavors on the palate. For the main course, we savored the karniyarik, a traditional Turkish dish that surpassed all expectations. The tender eggplant stuffed with seasoned minced meat and aromatic spices was a true testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs at Icmeler. To complement our meal, we enjoyed refreshing beverages, including fresh orange juice and diet coke, which served as the perfect accompaniments to the rich and flavorful dishes. Lastly, we indulged in the decadent baklava served with a scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream and drizzled with luscious chocolate syrup. The harmonious combination of crispy layers, sweet syrup, and creamy ice cream provided a fitting finale to our culinary voyage. In conclusion, ICMELER Turkish Restaurant in Wakefield stands out as a culinary oasis where passion for food meets unparalleled hospitality. Whether you're a connoisseur of Turkish cuisine or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Icmeler exceeds expectations on every front. I wholeheartedly recommend Icmeler to anyone seeking a taste of Turkey right in the heart of Wakefield. **Rating:** Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Culinary Experience: 5/5 Overall Experience: 5/5β

βOnly bobbed by for a quick potato scallop, which came with bits .. bloody amazing. Crispy batter, butter soft potato in the middle , with free bits on top.. rally a meal in itself , but I got one to try and review, and happy i was too. Great value .. absolutely no complaints here worth of 5 stars.β
βPerfect lunch outside on a day dominated by noisy cricket fans. Excellent service, food cooked to perfection. Friendly and charming and entertaining staff. Overall fantasticβ
βHad a great meal here other night. I was really busy, so I had to wait a bit, but that's to be expected. It was worth the wait. the food was beautiful. You can take your own beer too, which I like. Cheersβ
βHaving come from Malaysia, this restaurant serves food thatβs pretty accurate to how itβs done over there! We especially liked the mee kari and the ABC (very unique dessert!). I left extremely satisfied. One downside was that we had been waiting an hour for the food to come. However the staff were very well aware of this and would assure us that it would come. Another downside was that the portion of the char kuey teow was quite small, and it was similarly priced to the mee kari (pictured). I think with time the service will improve, and it would also be nice to serve a portion that suits the price paid. However, I will come back and I do look forward to it!β
βThe quality of ingredients and cooking technique shone through in a fabulous lunch serving at Izakaya. Attentive and friendly service with the chef coming to say hello at the end. Overall a fantastic experience, do not miss if you're visiting York.β
βAmazing location and everything we needed in our apartments. The apartments are beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly with every enquiry we had. There was complimentary bottles of prosecco in each apartment which was such a lovely touch to my friends hen weekend. Such good value for a central and beautiful apartment. Will definitely book again.β
