“My meal here was absolutely fantastic! The mushroom was rich and silky, the cheese was so delicious—each bite felt like a treat. The steak, cooked to a juicy medium as requested, was tender and seasoned flawlessly. A huge shout-out to the server Brad! He was attentive without being intrusive, recommended the perfect dishes, and checked in just enough to ensure everything was perfect. His friendly smile and quick service made the evening even more enjoyable. Will definitely be back soon!”

“One of the best pizza places I've been to in the UK, much above Domino's or Pizza Hut! Interior has a relaxed feel and menus are given right away, seating is comfortable too. Had their pizza with anchovies, tomatoes, mozzarella, capers, garlic and oregano these toppings were fresh and just the right combo of tomato sauce with cheese!”

“We have eaten here on a number of occasions and we decided to go as a group again last night. As always the staff are lovely, the owner once gave us a lift home when the taxi did not arrive! This is a small family business. The food is excellent and is a fair price for the quality. Would highly recommend.”

“Second visit to L'Aquila and another great experience. Between the 4 of us, we had 3 different pasta dishes and a pizza - all really good quality and just right portion sizes. Beer and wine goid choice and decent prices. Both visits have felt like the front of house staff could do with one more at busy times as it was a little slow to take drinks then food orders, and a big gap between serving starters and mains (we like a decent gap, but this was a tad lengthy). Definitely didn't spoil the experience, so don't let it put you off - just be aware and look forward to a bit of a more relaxed pace than you might be used to. We will be back soon.”

“Me and my partner went to this restaurant on Sunday 7 December 2025 as our anniversary meal. They welcomed us extremely well with good service. The food was spot on. We went for Tattu signature which was £92pp and it came out perfectly, flavour was good. As part of our anniversary, Deriel did exceptionally good service and gave us fortune cookies with a little note for us and he always did check backs to see if we needed anything else. Spot on with everything. We would definitely recommend it and will be returning To the manager that sees this, please give Deriel our message that he deserves something from your company for giving us an amazing customer service as part of his hospitality.”

My kids enjoy it even more. The lady Kiran was exceptional, very polite & patient. She knows how to deal with kids & I would personally say she's One Good Asset this Establishment has. From the moment I entered, I was impressed by the inviting atmosphere and the warm, welcoming staff, who create a sense of home that’s often missing in larger chain establishments. It offers an authentic dining experience that is a far cry from the typical greasy takeaway options that flood the market. The food is very tasty and authentic. This is not your typical horrible greasy, fake Chinese mush food that many people seem to enjoy from their local takeaway - like "fried rice" swimming in soy sauce with "sweet and sour reprocessed and regurgitated chicken testicles covered in diabetes sugar sauce". If you are one of those weirdos who likes that crap food (which is only served in Britain and ordered by British for some bizarre reason), then I don't recommend you come here. If, however, you like authentic home cooked style food and are open to trying something other than "sweet and sour chicken" then I recommend a visit and give it a try. Equally impressive is the selection of drinks. The teas we ordered were delightful, clearly made from high-quality leaves rather than the usual generic tea bags. It’s these little touches that enhance the dining experience. The staff members are incredibly friendly and seem to genuinely care about their customers, which adds to the restaurant's charm. The cozy interior creates a homely atmosphere, making you feel right at ease. Another point worth mentioning is the cleanliness of the facilities.
