“This morning I was served a cup of tea by Sam. Exceptional customer service. He dealt with a queue either side of the kiosk in a calm and friendly manner. He actually cared about people's experiences and served me a lovely cup of tea. Thank you Sam.”
“What can I say? Our experience with Kayes was wonderful. I treated my wife to a new engagement ring after 30 years of marriage as she'd lost a few stones from her original ring. We were served by Niamh who went above and beyond and was so welcoming. We called back a few weeks later for a free re-sizing - excellent, friendly service. Would highly recommend Kayes Jewellers. Thank you so much, Simon & Alison Ross”
“Excellent dumplings! It is a very simple dish but very hard to master to the level found here. They are filled with a lot of mixture and all of them came perfect considering they are all handmade. We have tried multiple variations and all of them were excellent. I kind of regret not trying the special of the day as it sounded more experimental but considering how good the standard ones have been, we’ll have to come again one day. Great service and very nice place to dine it. Bravo!”
“Great craft beer bar. Friendly staff and atmosphere with reasonable prices for the products available. Children are allowed on till 7pm which is handy. Would recommend for anybody who likes their beer or just likes a local atmosphere from an independent local business.”
“Incredible crepes and lovely service. Orange juice hit the spot too. Nice location as well with views of Chester’s architecture. Worth a visit if in Chester!”
“Best coffee shop in Chester. The filter really allows you to taste the flavours and aromas of the coffee. Been going for over 3 years now and never had a bad experience.”
“Always have to pop in when i’m in chester, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and honestly fit the vibe of the shop so well. They always have cute clothes, bags and jewellery stocked that i would genuinely give my whole life savings for. As well as so much Wiccan stuff which as a pagan is so amazing to see!! Always have to at least buy some incents when i go in because I can’t resist. Highly recommend!!”
“The food is great and the environment is really cozy and lovely. Most importantly, the people working here are so nice. Even most of the tables are booked, they still managed to give me and my son a table. Great experience dinning here. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“Visited on a quiet Wednesday evening and was thoroughly impressed by the service. I was served by an energetic and just generally wonderful gentleman named Alex. He has an innate talent for informal - but not unfriendly - welcomes and ensures that every individual be speaks to its made to feel like the most important person in the room. Attentive, but not overbearing. A chap of such outstanding quality reflects a gold standard that every premises should aspire to. The fare, of course, was magnificent, but the true star of the show was not what was on the plate. But rather, the people responsible for it. 10/10 top-to-bottom. No notes.”
“Had a lovely time here during our short stay in Chester. There is a great selection of craft ales on tap and in bottles/cans. Plenty of seating on two levels and there is a live beer board. The Lady behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable about the types of drinks available. Highly recommend this venue and would visit again !”
“Wow. Was not expecting such lovely tasting food - I had banana toast on sourdough. The interior is very contemporary and casual, the staff are incredibly friendly and the coffee tastes great. This was literally the first coffee shop I found and I'm so glad I choose it. Highly recommended.”
“I had such a lovely experience at Stile Napoletano in Chester. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommend booking in advance — the place is small and fills up quickly. A perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or a cosy evening out. I’ll definitely be back!”
“Great beers, great atmosphere and even better staff, lovely little place.”
“I had breakfast here and it was an amazing experience! Everything was so delicious and truly represented the best of Turkish cuisine. The atmosphere, decoration, and staff were all perfect. I was extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to everyone!”
“We had the Sunday roast and it was honestly amazing — perfectly cooked meats, crisp roast potatoes, rich gravy, and beautifully prepared veg. Everything was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The setting is cosy and stylish without feeling formal, and the staff were so friendly and attentive throughout. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and enjoy your meal. A proper treat for a Sunday — we’ll definitely be back soon!”
“Love the caring personal touch of this establishment. Always friendly and not just with us, a rapport seems to have been built up with many customers who are also on first name terms. Regular, gluten free and vegan choices available(light bites only). Great coffee and teas available as is alternative milk choices. Very dog friendly too, which is brilliant! Also any coffee questions you are curious about the owner can give as much information as needed. Highly knowledgeable about his field.”
“Without doubt the best place for breakfast or brunch. The foods SO good! The flavours and standard are as good as, if not better than some Michelin starred restaurants! Wow!!!! Smoked salmon Benedict rosti was incredible!”
“The best meal I’ve had all year! Genuinely stunning food, amazing atmosphere and fabulous staff/service. 10/10 from me and we will 100% be back! Thankyou”
“Amazing place - found via Michelin Guide. Food quality was beyond expectations - particularly the foccaccia was super tasty. Variety was perfect and everything was very fresh. Location and the atmosphere of the restaurant are perfect too! Highly recommended to visit - worth to make a reservation.”

“Lovely tearoom selling a good variety of food and drinks.”
“Absolute must visit if you’re coming to Chester - all the best bakeries on industrial estates! Usher’s is no exception. Highly recommend the bacon and cheese croissant! Staff incredibly friendly (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) and came running after me when I left my ring on the table. Can’t say thank you enough!”
“Took my amazing girlfriend for a surprise treat before going to chester. Well worth the hour and a bit drive. What a gem. Quirky tearoom set back from the road. Service was amazing and people very chatty and genuine. Even had a free library for you to take a book home with you or swop on your next trip. We had an afternoon tea. It was delicious and plentiful. We can highly recommend this place. Great value for money.”
“What a lovely place... I'd call it a cafe, but it's much more than that! The food is great, well presented and delicious. The girls are friendly, welcoming and efficient too, and there's a lovely ambiance. They don't just sell great food, but they have really unusual gifts, cards and some groceries too. I've only tried the eat in service, but they also provide a take out too. Five stars all the way!”
“A fantastic first visit to this lovely new addition to the area. Lovely atmosphere, great food & brilliant service!! Would definitely recommend. We'll be back!!”
“Quick friendly service, all your hot and cold sandwich classics made while you wait, all fresh good quality ingredients. I personally recommend getting yourself a slice of their chocolate orange cake while your there too.”
“A real nice place to eat lunch. Its a little bit out of the way so is usually quieter, the staff are so friendly and the food is really delicious.”
“A traditional pub feel, but NOT old stuffy. Dropped in for a swift pint and was so taken by the atmosphere, excellent beer (I had the porter) and a superb pizza, I just had to stay for another.”
“Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff, great service and good food. We went for dinner as part of a little pre Christmas trip to Chester. The small plates were delightful. We had the focaccia, meatball and fried lasagna. Every item was lovely… and I’ve definitely been inspired to deep fry my lasagna in future! We had the onglet, bhaji burger and broccoli tagliatelle for mains. The onglet was delightful, but I didn’t regret my choice (the tagliatelle). The mango ketchup that came with the bhaji burger was too sweet for us, but I’m sure it would have suit those who have a sweeter palate. If we had extra stomach space, I would have loved to try the lasagna (because the fried version was so nice!) Nothing wrong with the dessert per se, but they were the weakest course… which was a little odd. The chocolate crème brûlée was fine but nothing to write home about … while the sticky toffee pudding was not the right texture for me. The coffees were delightful though!! Overall, this was a good find! I’d love to go back during the day and try their brunch - the Malaysian in me is intrigued by the chai tow kway & paratha (the description is that for chai tow kway so not sure where the paratha comes in, but I wanna try it!!)”
