“A great experience at Comfort World Bed & Mattress Shop! Matt was very attentive when we visited the showroom to look for a new mattress and put us at ease. Delivery and collection of the old mattress was prompt and reasonably priced too. I would whole heartedly recommend Matt as your go-to local company for your bed and mattress needs. A much more personal and affordable service than your bigger national retailers, highly recommended!”

“My absolute favourite café in town! They have so many syrup flavours for coffee and matcha, and the drinks on the menu always taste amazing. The cakes are incredible too, there’s always something new and different that you won’t find anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough!”
“Lovely food. Service was brilliant. Cakes are even better! This will be my new spot when I visit the Wirral.”
“Always an amazing dining experience. Seriously, if you haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out. As usual, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The menu is amazing, but we always let the owner choose for us. Today, we had a mix of appetisers and then on to a mixed meat platter......check out the pics! Absolutely delicious, will be back very soon!”
“Absolutely delicious food! Service very professional and actually very reasonably priced for a fine dining place. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Loved the place and food.”
“Yesterday I had my first ever pedicure, (male) I was encouraged by my partner to go and have one, due to years of playing rugby and running/hiking, my feet have taken a bit of a hammering. I was seen by Casey, she was brilliant, made me feel at ease, with being a man these things can actually be daunting, going to a salon to have a treatment like this, we believe it’s for women only, but the experience was actually great, very relaxing and Casey did a great job, I’ve even booked back in for a couple of months, thank you so much, and Thankyou for the coffee, fantastic service. Jamie”
“The service and food here was excellent. We arrived at a very busy time and we were treated with the highest quality of service. My husband and I ordered two full English breakfast’s. Everything arrived piping hot and was delicious. Cannot recommend Thyme for Tea enough. You may have to book a table in advance as it is very popular.”
“Took my amazing girlfriend for a surprise treat before going to chester. Well worth the hour and a bit drive. What a gem. Quirky tearoom set back from the road. Service was amazing and people very chatty and genuine. Even had a free library for you to take a book home with you or swop on your next trip. We had an afternoon tea. It was delicious and plentiful. We can highly recommend this place. Great value for money.”
“Brilliant! The girls are lovely and really friendly, they are super patient with my toddler who never used to like getting his hair cut, but thanks to them he loves going there now.”
“A beautiful cathedral lots of history and things to see. £5 voluntary admission price into cathedral. Takes a good hour to walk about. On day of visit part of area was unaccessible due to a private function. Nice grounds to walk around also souvenir shop.”
“Great garage. Reliable, honest and very knowledgeable.”
“Good menu choices, meal was of good quality and plentiful. The desserts were delicious, with my adult granddaughter saying it was the best chocolate fudge cake she had ever tasted. My raspberry bakewell tart and custard was the best I've ever tasted. At least four cask beers on offer and good lager choice as well. Service was exceptional being both friendly and attentive.”
“As I was travelling from France to Ireland, I made a small detour from my route to visit this address, recommended warmly by The Telegraph. A fortunate decision, it fell well. The pub has that particular English warmth, friendly faces, a gentle buzz, and a dining room with paintings that catch the eye and chairs with a little personality of their own. The meat comes from the owner’s organic farm, which already tells you that things are done with the spirit of the house. As it was December, the pub offered their Christmas menu. We began with the Beef Bon Bon and horseradish emulsion. A familiar flavour, yes, but here it was well married, the crispy and creamy textures meeting each other with a harmony. A fine beginning. For my main course, I chose the Beef Wellington with potato terrine. A dish of tradition, executed with care and elevated with a smoked garlic flavour, even a Frenchman must admit the beef was cooked right. My partner chose the Lemon Sole Bonne Femme, a light and pleasant plate, nothing too much, nothing missing. Exactly as it should be. Dessert brought two final pleasures: the Pumpkin and Ginger Brûlée, gentle and seasonal, and a White Chocolate Torte with dark chocolate and coconut tuile, a combination that could have gone in all directions, but here it was held with a master’s hand. The staff were attentive and in good humour. The barman, with that calm English assurance, encouraged me to try a local cask ale. It is not a drink I know well, but the wonderfully named Barnsley Bitter was a surprise, round, agreeable, the sort of thing that goes down all alone. I ordered two more without hesitation (my partner, fortunately, had the wheel). A small detour, yes, but one that left me with the feeling of having made a beautiful escape along the long road.”

“Heard about this cafe from family members, and from their recommendation we made it on Saturday. Well worth that visit, amazing. First off this place is small so when we had a party of eight, it could have been tricky. No reservations are taken but they did say if we could wait 15 mins they could accommodate us. Excellent. Other reviews say the coffee is excellent, I'll agree with that. Stayed hot for ages too! The Amor breakfast at £8.25 is a steel and well worth it. A smaller version at £6.25 is available. Tastes amazing. Staff excellent and friendly. Well worth a return visit. Well done the Amor team.”
“Family concern who offer an exceptional service at a very fair price. Highly regarded in the area for many years. Would recommend for MOT, service & body work.”
“What a nice place. A warm welcome and a breakfast that even looks like it’s delivered with love.”
“Had the most wonderful experience with Gemma. The minute you walk in, you are greeted with a lovely smile and made to feel really comfortable. I had my eyelashes done which was a lovely experience, then onto my nails. They turned out absolutely gorgeous and that’s because Gemma took the time to discuss what I wanted. She went through all the colours and options and I didn’t feel rushed whatsoever. The salon is so beautiful inside and literally can’t wait to return. My daughter also attended the salon for her 21st to have a full pamper session with a facial, nails and toes. If you want a friendly professional service and the up most quality, then look no further Petite soliel is the place to come. Lisa Jennings Upholland”

Totally different hair. Looked after me my daughter & granddaughter. This salon is amazing, very welcoming & homely. Lots of returning customers which is a good sign. Sophia the dog so good & cute. “Another fabulous Sunday lunch at Dons! My husband and I loved the perfect lamb shank roast dinner followed by probably the best tiramisu i've ever tasted.. 2 courses £21.95. Always a Warm welcome, efficient and friendly pretty christmas decorations, twinkling all around us helped us to get into the festive mood. We miss Pepe of course but it was lovely to meet Raymondo. Paddy and the rest of the staff always look after us. If you havent been lately I Highly Recommend. I believe Don's is the best Italian food around and is fresh and homemade from scratch.
