“I recently visited this Syrian restaurant and was blown away by the authenticity and warmth of the experience. The food was exceptionally fresh, bursting with traditional flavors that took me straight to Damascus. Every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned — from the fragrant grilled meats to the rich, creamy hummus. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and made us feel like honoured guests. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, with tasteful décor that reflected Syrian culture. It’s clear that a lot of passion and care go into every detail here. If you’re looking for a true taste of Syria, this place is an absolute gem. I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family.”

“I would give more stars if I could! Me and my husband got a cosy table for two on a busy Saturday night. We loved the music and the restaurant smelled amazing. The first thing I noticed is how friendly and attentive the staff were. We ordered the platter for two and the bread which came as a started was out of this world fresh tasting and fluffy. The meat was juicy and seasoned to perfection which left me thinking about eating it every day. I honestly think this place is my new favourite restaurant and will be going back often. We ordered desert, baklava with ice-cream. The portions were perfect and service was quick and effortless. We both had a really positive experience so thank you to all the staff, front and back of house.”

“I love Laros. I have been ordering from this place for three years and the food always slaps. I love the Talagani cheese wrap. It's incredibly salty which mixes in incredibly well with the fresh salad and crispy chips. Would highly recommend this place anyone who just wants good food and friendly staff.”

“My wife and I visited for the first time last week. We must say outside of Greece (even inside of Greece!) this is some of the very best Greek food we’ve had. Fantastically authentic and all cooked fresh the flavours were outstanding, the lamb house speciality was divine (as were the homemade chips!) the homemade Baklava was to die for too. Service from the friendly lady owner was impeccable and the price so reasonable. We’ll definitely be back and if you haven’t visited here you are really missing out!”

“First things first, the aioli was the absolute highlight of the meal - it was incredible! We eat it quite frequently in my house and my wife is an expert at making it and this is the first time I’ve ever considered a restaurant to be on par with that - amazing! The calamari was nicely battered and crisp, the Spanish tortilla was wonderful, dense and flaky and the chorizo and clams in white wine sauce was equally flavorful. I’m glad I ventured out of the hotel for this meal.”

“i visited ego today with a group of 6 friends and we had a lovely time. From the moment we arrived,,the staff were welcoming, attentive and made us feel relaxed. everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble The food was absolutely delicious- everyone at the table loved their dishes and portions were generous. Drinks were great, the atmosphere was lively without being too loud and service friendly and professional. We all said the same thing : we’d definitely come back. A perfect spot for get together with friends. Highly recommend.”
