“I got my order delivered via a 2nd hand company however the restraunt use there own staff to deliver. The member of staff came and I received my food but unfortunately my cheesy chips were missing and I told the delivery driver. He was very apologetic and said he would get them and come back and I have a free drink off them for the inconvenience. The chicken wrap was top notch apart from the tomatoes (my fault not there's as I didn't mention no tomatoes as I didnt think but no allergy just a dislike). He came back with the cheesy chips and a drink and the cheesy chips again were very tasty. A few chips were slightly too greasy but only a few! The garlic sauce and sweet chili were a great addition. And the staff were ever so apologetic and even left a note on tip of the box. Food and customer service is amazing and I will be ordering again. I hope for the chance to be able to eat in so I can get the full experience!!”

“Ordered at 8pm and arrived by 20 past. Would definitely recommend!! We ordered a donner calzone and a meat pizza and it came with a free garlic bread which was a nice surprise. All really nice!! We’re relatively new to the area so this will deffo be our new pizza place! Delivery man was also really lovely!”

“Never had a bad meal here, food is really tasty and staff are very friendly. Very reasonable prices too and some great dishes that I’ve not seen before. The new Indian chips are a taste sensation.”

“Visited as a group of 7 friends and had Pippa serving us who was friendly, professional and a real asset to the pub. There was a bit of a mix up in the kitchen which delayed part of the order but once flagged the manager handled the situation really well and sorted things out for us. Live music and open fire made a great atmosphere - a little loud for us oldies who struggled to hear each other but there is another dining room which was much quieter so would request sitting there next time. Overall we are well with good sized portions. I had mushroom lasagna which was pretty good.”

“Absolutely incredible. Went for our anniversary tea ( 19/12/24)The Fox has just reopened under the management of Craig and Jo, just wow. The pub was bustling and busy, the staff were smiling and attentive. The food was incredible. We went for Nachos and Chicken strips, mains were proper home made lasagne and steak and ale pie. Too full for pudding but went in to the bar for a drink after, again bustling and smiling faces, the pub was cosy and warm. 10 out of 10 both of you. See you over Christmas”

“I always have a 12 piece Chicken Kebab with salad at La Vera because it is simply beautiful. It also feels healthy. The level of service is outstanding and the staff are extremely friendly. My wife and I would definitely recommend La Vera, there is nowhere better for kebabs around Wilmslow.”

“The place has renamed itself to The Palm, I loved the different options they had on the menu and tried the Lamb Kabsah that was amazing. The portion was really big and I look forward to returning there again. I noticed some other people ordered a nan and it looked HUGE!!”

“Lovely place on Allerton road, the atmosphere is very cosy (which doesn't mean small in this case), we sat in the enclosed "patio" area, with cute fairy lights all around, benches, pillows and blankets - sounds like a sleep over party, I know.. for was very tasty and plenty of it! Service is solid parking can be found easily on the main street, or the ones nearby/opposite.”

“As a regular at Neighbourhood for lunch when in Chester , we booked private room for our son and daughter in laws wedding celebration evening. The small annex room was perfect for a small gathering. Service excellent and the small plates menu we had chosen were all freshly prepared to a high standard. Highly recommended.”

“I love this place, it's one of my favourite restaurants. I usually come here with my son who's 16, as he loves eating here. We've been on a Monday a few times during half term when it's half price. Great value, friendly staff. Can't fault it. I hope it reopens when restaurants are allowed to open again, as we'd love to have another meal here.”

“We were starving and chose Comptoir as we knew it won't disappoint! I was in the mood for a stew, and their chicken and green olive tagines was amazing! This was Layton suggestion, and i am very happy i went for it. Tasty, full of fragrance, interesting and filling. My wife had the chicken taouk, which she couldn't finish, as the portions here are quite generous. Food came very quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy, and also the drinks. Over all was a very good experience specially because our waiter went above and beyond to welcome us, he's very friendly and chatty, he explained the menu and he cared for allergies and any questions we had. Oh, i almost forgot to praise their lemonades... very very good and refreshing! We'll definitely come back, thanks Leyton and the kitchen”

“Wonderful food and a wonderful experience, staff are friendly and ready to serve. Food was amazing and well worth the money which is reasonable priced and suited to any budget. A must visit for any occasion. Service with a smile. Atmosphere top notch. My only criticism is they have to many tables upstairs probably to maximise space. This is not a really issues if you like a more cozy environment.”

“Ordered tonight and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. It's always delivered hot and fresh. The garlic bread is to die for. The pizza dough is home made and the Lazio pizza was delicious. Full of flavour. Chicken kickers were crunchy and nice chicken inside. No tough bits or gristle Antons is a step up from the usual greasy takeaways. The food is definitely better quality. “I picked up food from here this evening for takeaway. We had 1x halloumi kebab & 1 chicken kebab + chips and it was all amazing! The chicken was juicy and full of flavour and their bread is better than any bread in the area and came free. We used to use this restaurant often when we lived around here but moved away but we will definitely be back. Also the guy who served me on the front desk was really friendly and welcoming and definitely knew his stuff.”

“Visited for the first time today for my dinner in work. My work colleagues have had takeaway from here before they told me it was really good. The restaurant wasnt your average chargrill house, it was really warm and had a rustic vibe to it. I ordered the 6oz cheeseburger with sweet chilli sauce and fries. Being a well travelled and massive foodie I've got to say this was without a doubt the best cheeseburger I've had in years! Absolutely gorgeous food! Way better than anything else I've found in Chester even the posh new food courts where the old bus stop used to be. Staff was very friendly and explained what shwarma was to me and even let us try the cold Greek drink they serve in like a milkshake mixer free of charge to see if we liked it. 100% I will be visiting regularly from now on. My only negative thing i can think of is that I haven't been to this place sooner!”

“Went in on probably one of the busiest days. The first pint of Boltmaker was a bit cloudy,but the barman quickly poured another for me and the rest were delicious. Considering the crowds, the food service was quick and the food nice. No problem getting serviced either at the bar.”
