“Brilliant pub, Mick and Jacqui the hosts are fantastic.”
“Good club, friendly doorstaff and nice atmosphere.”
“Amazing weekend both Saturday and Sunday at Modo. Lovely staff and atmosphere Very hot in the club on Saturday though. Better air conditioning might help. I didn’t eat there. Thanks to the team!”
“1st time being here, been passed it for years and never had a beer. Brilliant beer on tap.”
“I had a great experience here despite the mixed reviews. Service was great couldn’t fault it Emma N was great. Food and cocktails nice. Only thing I would say is music is a bit loud for me.”
“Not been here for a while as never enjoyed the food but was there recently and had the Carvery. It was so good that I told them to complement the cook defo 10/10. Will definitely be going back soon.”
“Small local pub , family friendly , lovely bitter lovely staff”
“Our first visit yesterday 26/10 and it won’t be our last. The staff, food and drinks were amazing. Our glasses were never empty and the selection of cocktails for the bottomless brunch were great. We ordered way too much food but everything we tried was delicious. Staff were lovely and extremely attentive. Special thanks to our server Amy S and the lovely Sean C who made sure our glasses were always full and were happy to engage some great banter with myself and my best friend. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.”
“Everything was just perfect specially the staff !! They were really helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us in select best suited dish,, they have vast menu and needs to visit more than once ( as iam visiting this restaurant for the first time) 5 star for the vegan burger and Fridays grilled chicken burger !!”
“Compared to the negative reviews I had a pretty good night here, prebooked a booth for £650, I could be wrong but was the Captain Morgans £120 for a litre bottle?”
“Best Chinese in Wigan, have been going for 15 years, takeaway or sit down restaurant, friendly staff and amazing food, great value for money and ideal for a Sunday afternoon drink and dinner. Wont be disappointed.”
“The best night out!! The music and all the energy!! Was great. I'll come back soon!!”
“The first time I came in, Brad took the time to look at how my hair grows and how it sits with my head shape. He gave great advice and was absolutely spot on. Over a few visits, he managed to correct a bad cut I’d had before, and now I’m genuinely happy with how it looks. Highly recommend, Brad is the best barber I've been to in my 35 years.”
“We had a lovely time here! The food came super quickly and was delicious! One of the best services we have ever had! I liked that they were open to making a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu! Thank you, Sadie, we enjoyed your care!”
“Very prompt in queries and replies. Jess Davis, Customer Support team was very attentive and helpful.”
“The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, with a great selection of local ales. We had the Sunday roast, and it was absolutely delicious—a perfect, hearty meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A must-visit for a true pub experience”
“Easily the best craft beer spot in Warrington. The tap list is always rotating, so there’s something new to try every time you walk in, whether you’re after a hazy IPA, a crisp lager, or something a bit weird and wonderful. The fridge selection is next level too—properly cold-chained and packed with quality beers you won’t find in your average bar. The atmosphere is spot on—laid-back, no nonsense, and all about the beer. The staff actually know what they’re talking about, and you can tell they care about what they’re serving. No pretentious beer snobbery, just good pints and good chat.”
“This was an absolutely astounding experience from start to finish. We were greeted and seated by Annabelle who was delightful, the vibe was immaculate, the decor achingly cool, the drinks menu was an experience in itself and I ordered Death in the Afternoon which will blow your head off! The entertainment was mind blowing, the service was impeccable and I cannot rate this place highly enough. A really unique experience in Liverpool not to be missed!”
“Our first time in Cafe Rosso, a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Traybakes amazing. First ever mocha and it was beautiful. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.”
“Had a great dinner here. The food was delicious and very fulfilling. We ordered the chicken wings, jalapeños with cream cheese, house special quesadillas and burrito for the two of us, and still couldn’t resist getting a dessert - churros with chilli chocolate sauce. My favourite is their special sauce chicken wings.”
“We saw the video saying, "Only pay for what you like." and thought that we just had to try it. The food was perfect, the team was very friedly, and every other table seemed to be enjoying themselves. Amazing experience.”
“This is the best place to watch a Liverpool match outside of Anfield Stadium. The outdoor screen is huge and unobstructed and there is plenty of seating.”
“Beautiful selection of cocktails in this wee cozy nook that is The Royal Institution Bar with Owen and Damien who made me feel like at home. I started with the Head(less) A well-balanced drink that consists of Rye Whiskey, Ardbeg Wee Beastie, Courvoisier, Apricot, Smoked Tea Syrup, and Lemon Foam. I also had the Raku, a really interesting cocktail that uses a local miso + coffee infused gin by Turncoat with a hint of chocolate and orange bitters. Delightful!”
“Great craft beer bar. Friendly staff and atmosphere with reasonable prices for the products available. Children are allowed on till 7pm which is handy. Would recommend for anybody who likes their beer or just likes a local atmosphere from an independent local business.”
“Visited for first time yesterday. Very welcoming, very friendly and a great vibe. Amazing selection of drinks available on draft and also huge selection of not the norm drinks to take away. Can't wait to be back”
“Rainy Sunday afternoon, we caught them just before they closed because it wasn't busy. Made to feel very welcome, and the food was delicious. I had the comte & asparagus tartine, served warm with a lovely side salad with a mustardy dressing. Friend had the sausage & bean cassoulet with the most perfect fried egg on the top. I can't wait to visit again to try more from the menu. Got takeaway cakes & can highly recommend the hazelnut torte.”
“We love going here, great atmosphere great service great pint.. dog friendly live singer some days.”
“Most welcoming atmosphere and the most charming hosts, thank you Rome for a great evening.”
“Had a lovely evening here at our first visit. It certainly won't be our last! Loved the food, jerk chicken, rice and peas, festival and jerk gravy, also scotchie sauce. The cocktail I had, rum punch, was the best I've tasted anywhere and the guinness punch my husband had was great too. The music was perfect and the service excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough and cannot wait to return. This couple deserve to succeed, they are passionate about this restaurant and it shows”
