“A nice little walk with plenty geese and ducks to see. A small children's park there too.”
“Only a field with a couple of goal posts. Pleasant walk around there though. Think there were seats too No toilets though”
“A good place to walk your dog on or off lead in a safe environment. If you have children there is a kids play area which is very popular. Don't miss the rose gardens either a nice place to walk around or if you need to sit down there are plenty of benches to sit down on.Sainsburys Aldi Home Bargain and a few little cafes within 5 minutes walk from the Oxton Fields.Well worth a visit.”
“Took my husky here and she loved it! The space is massive so she was able to have a good run off lead. I can’t take her off as people are nervous of her in the park so this was perfect! staff are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Definitely be coming here more often!”
“I have had a few deliveries now. They deliver quickly - much faster than my old supplier and get back to me fast if I have any queries. Recommended!”
“Amazing place, my pup absolutely loves it here! He is full of enrgy and loves a big run and that is exactly what he gets here. There is always fresh water and even a paddling pool for when its warm. Everyone I have met there is friendly and the owner is lovely. Could not recommend more!”
“Lovely place - really enjoyed the ice cream! Friendly customer service and a nice cafe to bring kids. Will come again!”
“Nice area to check out, lots of shops.”
“Great place to take your dogs nice views plenty of space for your dog to run around. I've only used the road side field. Only bad point is is that some people who take there dogs there don't pick up there dog mess. Last time I went there was quite a bit, there's poo bags hanging up on the fences and 3 bins in that field people to lazy to pick up after them selfs”
“It is a small playground but it is clean and tidy, kids also have access to a football court, you just need a ball. Parking on street. It’s in a quiet area so it’s nice to enjoy a little nature and relax.”
“Lovely walks with my dog never too busy, is a great place to go to clear your mind with a breath of fresh air. Also great job to all the volunteers looking after the park”
“Was a bit disappointed when I initially got there, carpark followed by a huge expanse of grass, lots of people with dogs, walked through the park came across the ground for Everton womens football club, then on to a small lake, wasn't best impressed, went on to the bigger lake, what an absolute gem of a lake, this definitely redeemed the park, highly recommend you park as close to the lake as you can and have a look, I'll definitely be going back”
“Lovely time at Barrio Feista Liverpool. Great entertainment. But the food lines were very long and sold out by the end of lunch time. Not allowed drinks in but very difficult to buy drinks inside. I believe this is the first event so maybe just teething problems.”
“Beautiful park and friendly helpful locals. Great place to walk the dog, exercise or take the kids. There is a small playground which is suitable for younger children, maybe say aged younger than 7 or 8. Plenty of on street parking is available depending on which road you use.”
“Lovely place to come for a walk or to chill out for a bit. It was popular when I visited, but wasn't too busy such that you could still walk around and find empty benches (though it was a bitter January day, so I can imagine during summer this location may be very busy). Plenty of ducks and geese to feed (please research food that is good for them - no bread!). It is very easy to get here from the railway station, though there is also a small car park available.”
“A small car park, leads to a good size park. It is dog friendly. With a lovely climbing frame for children. It has a pretty lake with ducks. A good size walk area for dogs on paths and grass areas. Also seating around and nice grass areas for picnics. Could do with a few more bins. Also a good walkway for cycling around. Saw lots of bikers and dogs while we were there. Will definitely come again.”
“My first time here for a friend's child's birthday party. It has the basic trampoline area where you can jump to your Heart's content, there is also a great kids bit at the back were we spent most of our time. We came a second time months later, I'd recommend coming at 10am if you have small kids. There are less big kids bouncing around The place is clean, it has a few private party rooms and has loads of free lockers for all your stuff.”
“Nice park was walking the dog and came across the air ambulance about to take off”
“Our server Deb was fantastic, friendly and thought of everything for us. Wish we had this kind of service in every restaurant. This man deserves a payrise and a good bonus. He is a rare find. Food was good and we love the salad bar. But the real gem is our server Deb who made it a real experience we won't forget.”
“Always good to have a stand however there was lots of grass areas for deck chairs and tents”
“Really nice gem of a cafe in Stanley Park. Plenty of seating space available. Staff are very friendly and on top of clearing tables and cleaning up the cafe as the day goes. Prices were very reasonable and the portion size was more than adequate. The steak and onion ciabatta was delicious, I would happily order that again. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.”
“What a find just along from Penny Lane. A real hidden gem of a restaurant. Unassuming from the outside but tastefully done on the inside. Very well themed very clean and a very pleasant setting for an afternoon tea and cake, glass of wine or cocktail, small plates, or in fact an excellent range of starters, main courses, and deserts. All good portions, well presented, and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, offering an excellent service. We will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended.”
“Lovely venue for a party or special event. There's a small room for hire or a large function room with a stage, dance floor and plenty of seating. The staff are lovely and they also through great themed nights. There's a great big car park with plenty of parking spaces and it's just by the rocket.”
“Very nice tower with a garden around it. You can get there walking along a canal. There were squirrels around!”
“Good size field and woods to keep out the sun for dog , gets waterlogged november to April though”
“Absolutely amazing food, Staff are brilliant to. Mega friendly place to go for your dinner butties :-) Not been for a while. but will be coming again. Keep up the ace work guys (Darren @ L and B Motors).”
“Small park with pathways and benches and small play area for children. Can get quite muddy in wet weather. I’ve seen birds of prey nearby so keep an eye out.”
“Some really nice equipment for kids big and small. Particularly interesting stone built bridge and slide. Lots of nice natural features like big stepping stones. Nice small kids climbing frame.”
“Very beautiful park with all facilities including Gym Swimming pool, sports ground”
“A beautiful area. Luckily there are people in our community who care to litter pick as this is sometimes an issue. A small park which could do with a little update, but has swings for older and younger children, a slide, train, roundabout and small rocking vehicles. Ski slopes establishment near to park which has a toilet and vending machines. Lots of areas ideal for a picnic. Football areas on a field with goal posts. Rock climbing boulders on site too.”
