The love and care for the fluffy members of our families is honestly the best and is why I have entrusted all at Vets for Pets in Bury for years. A very upsetting day made as stress free as can be thanks to Allison and Amy knowing exactly what was needed and taking the time to listen and genuinely care. I would not take my pets anywhere else as I know they are cared for by the best here.”

“I am extremely happy that I have changed to Regans Vets. The reception team were super friendly and explained everything to me in detail regarding The Healthy Pet Club. Once in with the vet for my cat’s appointment, she gave him a full health check and his vaccination. She was caring and very helpful. I feel confident that my cat is in good hands now and he will receive the best treatment and care he deserves.”

“Great shop for all your essentials for pets. Our Shih Tzus love the AVA Advanced Nutrition kibble for Shih Tzus and the pate in the tin. No issues at all with them refusing to eat which has happened with other brands in the past. They also drink more now as well which is good.”

“Our Children (five and eight) are excited about adding to our family and have discussed a hamster.... My husband and I went to Pets at Home Bury to talk to an expert and discuss possible options and in particular what pet would be best for our family. We spoke to a lovely lady on the till who called over her colleague Maddie. Maddie talked us through options, and explained the nature and requirements of Hamsters, also looked to understand more about us as a family, how old the children are, how much activity we do, how much available time we have to properly look after and love a new pet. This was so impressive as clearly she wanted to ensure she advised us enough to help guide our informed decision whilst also having the welfare of the animal at the heart of the decision which is exactly what any ethical and compassionate pet store should do! She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, clear and just so so lovely to talk to! We actually since talking to Maddie, believe that Guinea Pigs may be a better option for us, particularly because the are nocturnal and our daughter is still young, her bed time would be Hammy's wake up time! We were introduced to the available Guinea Pigs, shown a variety of housing options, Maddie explained the importance of nutrition, play, chew toys and behaviours to watch out for too as the Guineas get older. We are going to reflect in readiness for a joint family decision with Henry and Lils, but for now are just so grateful for the time Maddie spent with us. Finally, the Store Manager Raf was really encouraging about ensuring Maddie was recognised for her efforts - he was keen to encourage this recognition of his team and in my eyes, this is really good leadership! “We can’t recommend Digs for Dogs highly enough! Our dog absolutely loves going on her “holidays” with them and gets so excited to jump into the van when she’s picked up. While we’re away, she’s completely spoilt and treated like a princess, which gives us total peace of mind knowing she’s being cared for and loved just as if she were their own. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photos—it’s lovely to see her enjoying herself while we’re away. Georgia and Oliver are so professional, kind, and welcoming, and they made the whole process of setting up our dog’s profile really easy. If you’re looking for a safe, caring, and fun place for your dog, we’d highly recommend Digs for Dogs!”

“I met a friend for a catch up and sat on the couches to the left of reception near the stairs to the gym. It was quiet enough for us to speak and even when a small group of adults sat on the couch behind us, we could speak without raising our voices. It was very comfortable and we were able to get coffee's from the onsite Starbucks and bring them over to our seating. Very friendly staff, suitable for our meeting and pleasant environment.”

“A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely location. I was looking for a proper holiday location within close driving distance of Tameside and Manchester, Christie's hospital in order to look after an elderly relative. I looked for a proper hotel with a dining room, a bar proper cooked food and somewhere dog friendly. I could not have found anywhere better. My elderly step-mum needed modified meals; small portions and easy-to-swallow foods. The chef and all the staff bent over backwards to make sure she was catered for - room service was no trouble. Only wish I'd had time to enjoy The Stables. I'll definitely be back.”

“Simba’s Shed is the ONLY place I will ever take my dog to be groomed! You can be confident that your dog will come home not only looking and smelling beautiful but extremely happy and looked after - Chelsea treats every dog like her own, having watched her work you can see how much she genuinely loves every client and her passion for what she does. She only takes one dog at a time and so you are sure your dog receives her undivided attention, allowing them to build a trusting relationship with her. I sometimes wonder if my dog loves Chelsea more than me!!!”

“The reception staff went above and beyond when handling my concerns during initial phone calls, arranging my appointment and on my visit. Helen, the vet, is well known to me as both knowledgeable and caring. She is the reason I use this practice and she didn’t disappoint. She diagnosed, reassured and prescribed as needed and was both caring to Betty (my dog) and reassuring regarding my concerns. One couldn’t ask for more and I would highly recommend this practice to any caring owner of pets,”

“Daisie, our fit, never ill 13.5 yr old Bichon Shih Tzu cross, was going off her food and had become very lethargic. She didn't want to jump in or out of the car, which was NOT like her at all. The next day I noticed she wobbled slightly one day after she came down stairs. I thank God I did. I was sure something was wrong, so we took her to our normal vets that day, and they referred us to VetsNow for a CT scan, within 2 hours, which showed a mass on her spleen. As there weren't any others we decided to operate, dispite her age, as she was normal very fit and healthy. Vets Now were wonderful, very kind, understanding, approachable and knowledgeable. NOTHING was to much trouble, all the staff were lovely. We know Daisie was lucky, her operation was curative. Whilst we were at Vets Now we saw just how dedicated they all are to saving your pets life, and how compassionate they are. I would not hesitate to take any of my pets to Vets Now again if their situation was life threatening. Daisie is now well on her way to a full recovery, and we're hoping to have her for a few more years yet. As far as the cost are concerned, yes, it was more expensive and came as a bit of a surprise, but on the flip side they are open 24/7, they are VERY well kitted out and basically just waiting to help your pet.”

“Wonderful place to stop and enjoy beautiful countryside around you. Facilities were beautifully clean and staff were helpful. Good walks close by, a pub serving meals and a wonderful cafe too .”
