“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”

“Really enjoyable Valentines meal here yesterday evening . Glass of champagne on the house on arrival, warm and romantic environment, tasty 3 course meal. Great mushroom starter, followed by sirloin steak and sticky toffee pudding,. Thank you Karen we had a lovely evening”

“Home to many of my all time favorite rooms. Had some nail biting escapes with the clock literally seconds away. Loved the competitive aspect for the team vs team rooms. Great for a staff night out or events with the on site bar.”

“Very, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosé wine is delightful...”

“Stayed just the one night but you could easily stay here for a few days. The room we had was on the 19th floor so super quiet without any noise from outside. Top quality SMEG appliances. Kettle, toaster, hot plate and microwave plus dishwasher. They also have a laundry department which you can use for longer stays. Lovely bed linen and comfortable bed. Just loved the rain shower which was powerful and as hot as you wanted it to be. Gorgeous bathroom products too. Just a perfect quick overnight but you could base yourself here if you had to work in Manchester for a few days.”

“I came here for Japan week to see a theatre performance and it was fantastic. HOME is a nice theatre with a cinema as well, staff are friendly inside and the theatre is small but comfortable, good view of the stage.”

“Well designed building. Large open spaces inside of ground floor atrium with large lecture theaters. Smaller rooms around upper floors. Many with no windows may feel more constrained. Well planned external space and campus with a short walk to main campus.”

“We visited for the first time on Saturday 8th November 2025 and we were served by Simona. She couldn’t have been more attentive. The service provided was excellent and right up there with the food. I had the arancini and the carbonara with sides of tenderstem broccoli and rocket. My partner had the scarpetta and lasagne. We both really enjoyed the food, particularly the dishes I picked. Simona kindly made me aware that the carbonara was traditional and not cooked with cream, which is what I expected but I do know people who have eaten a version of “carbonara” with cream who would definitely appreciate this information for their knowledge and to be aware of what they were ordering. Despite our table being booked for 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant being very busy, we did not wait long to be served or for our food to come out. It was all well presented and perfectly cooked. I’ve already recommended a number of people to visit since our meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Manchester.”

“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”

“This was our first time staying at the Edwardian Manchester, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning beautifully designed, spotless, and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice and great quality. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel special. “Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“Perfect location for T2 … across the road, 2 minute walk and within a short 5 minute journey on the free shuttle bus to the excellent drop and go parking service A special mention to Lauren part of the Holiday Inn reception team who was very efficient, friendly and provided a first class service! A credit to the “HI Man Airport” team !!! Hotel spotless, modern and well stocked rooms … have stayed next door at Ibis (which is also a great hotel!) but for an extra £30 on this stay brekkie was included. They also have a happy hour on selected drinks and discount on food A great place to relax night before travels without the early morning stress … thanks Holiday Inn!”

“Staying at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly was a fantastic experience! Raj, Kostia, and Ellie at the front desk were truly outstanding—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly efficient. From arrival to departure, everything was handled smoothly and with a genuine smile. The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and very well looked after, with rooms that are tidy, comfortable, and hygienic. “We stayed at Native Manchester for one night and I would definitely stay here again. For the price, it felt like excellent value compared to other options in the area, especially considering the size of the studio and the quality of reviews. Communication was seamless, I received WhatsApp updates throughout my journey, from details about the room number and PIN code to notifications that the room was ready and a reminder for check-out. The process was essentially self-service, though there is a reception available if needed. I found the whole system very streamlined and convenient. We parked at Dale Street car park, which cost around £20 for 24 hours, and from there it was just a short walk to the hotel. The building itself is really impressive, it used to be a cotton factory, and they’ve done a great job blending the original industrial character with modern design. We booked a studio apartment, which came with a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom had towels and toiletries (shampoo and shower gel), while the kitchen had all the day-to-day essentials, plus tea, coffee, and even a small bottle of milk in the fridge. There was also an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in the room. The bed was very comfortable, big, and overall, the space felt well thought out and homely. One small piece of feedback from my partner is that a larger mirror, or a mirror in better lighting, would have been useful for doing hair and makeup. As well, it would have been useful if there was some tissues, like kitchen roll etc. All in all, the studio had everything we needed, the atmosphere was great, and I would happily recommend Native Manchester to anyone visiting the city.”

“We had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Marriott AC Hotel. The food was fresh and well presented, but what made it truly special was the service. Siraj and Meesha were both outstanding — friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. They made sure we had everything we needed and added such a warm touch to the morning. Their hospitality really stood out and made our visit memorable.”

“I spent a lovely 3 nights here whilst I was in Manchester for a school reunion. The hotel is in a good location and close to the station with direct trains to Manchester airport. The room was excellent with plenty of space and a great view. It was very clean and well serviced every day. A bonus was the fridge and selection of drinks. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. I would like to give a big thank you to the guys in the bar, Cameron, Lennox and Eden for making the most amazing cocktails and for being very hospitable hosts. In fact all the restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it. My only complaint would be the cold plates for the cooked breakfast, but the great coffee and pastries did make up for it.”

“We booked this hotel for Billy Eilish concert. When we booked ourselves in they told us that they were giving us a free upgrade to their best room. Well the room was amazing. It had a dressing room area, dining and kitchen area and a stunning shower room. There was also a spiral staircase. At the top was a table for two with fantastic views of the city. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, hob, fridge and a dishwasher. There was also a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board, a safe and somewhere to hang your clothes. There was a complimentary bottle of water and crisps popcorn. Basically the room had everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and friendly and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Roomzzz you were amazing x”
