“Went on Tuesday to pick up our meds and to be told they had to order mine in. It will be ready for you after lunch tomorrow. My husband got there at 5pm the next day to be told oh they've just arrived I will pack them up for you now!! Plus 2 days running before hand I did try ringing several times to check our meds were in. They didn't answer there phone. Normally pretty good.”

“What can you say? It's Boots. Always good value for money. Pros: Friendly, helpful, polite staff. Swift checkout. Clean, well-kept. Always well stocked. Cons: only 2 parent and child spaces in the whole car park (not really Boots' fault, just a heads up, parents). Avoid the pharmacy counter on Tuesday & Thursday evenings - always, busy/long queues (a national shortage of pharmacists will do that, though).”

“Arrived at 7am on opening, it only took 10 minutes for them to get my son’s prescription ready, they even gave me a choice of a spoon or syringe. Very pleased with the service.”

“Had a genuinely lovely experience today at Boots Westonfavell Shopping Centre (Northampton) thanks to Hannah and Kosi. After having three flu jab appointments cancelled at Boots Kingsthorpe (Northampton) all without notice, I was beginning to feel very disappointed with the service. Each time I arrived for my appointment, I was told something different: • The pharmacist isn’t available today. • The pharmacist didn’t come in. • The pharmacist is on holiday. This was the third time in a row, and the same thing happened last year. There was no communication or courtesy call to inform me ahead of time, which meant wasted time and unnecessary frustration. However, when I went to Boots Weston Favell, I explained the situation and both Hannah and Kosi were incredibly helpful, kind, and proactive. They handled everything professionally and arranged my vaccination straight away. I’m really grateful for their support and excellent customer service, they turned a frustrating experience into a positive one.”

“I was concerned when I looked through the reviews of this veterinary practice before approaching them for some help I needed with my dog Poppy. Looking at the dates on the reviews, they all seemed very old so this made me wonder if it was just people taking the time to leave their bad thoughts, nobody taking the time to leave good!! I went with my gut feeling & I’m so pleased I did. I initially called & booked Poppy in with Sue, who was very warm hospitipal. On the appointment day, I was greeted by a receptionist Gemma & we also met Sonia who was a nurse there. All very nice people & very professional I found. Poppy seemed so happy & relaxed when I collected her, all staff where doting over her so she was clearly in her element too. Poppy & I needed to come back for another appointment where we then met the receptionist Kerry & Brad who was carrying out the operation on Poppy’s tooth. Again, both Kerry & Brad were lovely & went above & beyond for us with Poppy’s tooth extraction. I can honestly recommend the Best Friends Vet Group Shenley 100%. “This pharmacy is inside Sainsbury's so one good thing, open until late. The staff are good and friendly, yes can be wait at times so maybe go do that before your shop. One thing I love is they are a phone call away, they are extremely helpful, will give you good advice on the phone and have helped me to check on prescriptions as I live a 25min walk away so rather know it's there first”

“I gave 72 hours notice for my prescription to my doctors surgery, however it was never sent over to the pharmacy. It was a Friday afternoon and I needed my medication for the weekend. But unfortunately the pharmacy is closed on a Saturday and as I was working in the afternoon on Friday I couldn't wait. Natalie from the pharmacy was so understanding and helpful and was able to sort out an alternative for me. She went to the doctors to get my prescription form and was able to dispense for me and take to another pharmacy for me to collect the following day. She went above and beyond to make sure I got my medication for the weekend.”

“Over the years using this Chemist I have found them to be helpful, caring, showing empathy at times. Yes, they get busy and you have to wait. BUT often things are out of their control meaning customers can get impatient having to wait, but the staff stay 'cool' and cope. I am glad we have them to support our medical needs. Thank you.”

“Cant fault this surgery, I've been with them many years and always had a lot of support, even as a teenager when my health anxiety was at sky high due to an undiagnosed condition, i was always treated with kindness and respect and signposted to the most suitable clinician, all this help finally meant i got an answer to my years of symptoms, which even though it means many years to come of these symptoms, the diagnosis has put my anxiety completely to rest knowing there's a reason for my symptoms, so thank you. The nurses and GP's are fantastic. But a special thank you to the lovely admin and reception team, i see many reviews stating they have spoken to someone or people in the team that are rude and i really really cant believe this. They go above and beyond, i work at a gp surgery myself out of wellingborough which means getting a face to face appointment is very difficult for me, they always manage to get me a telephone appointment to help with this issue, rarely will i have to call back and try again for an appointment, but if i do, i do, the public needs to understand the admin/reception team aren't withholding appointments, the NHS is under a lot of strain, and with this, appointments are limited, meaning once they are gone, they are gone, please understand this before you base your review solely on appointment availability, it isnt the surgerys fault, and certainly isnt the admin teams fault, treat them with kindness and respect and they will do all they can to help you. They are human. Anyway.. 5/5 stars from me, don't let any bad reviews dampen your spirits, you cant please everyone.”

“Leave the staff alone, you standing there yelling at them is just going to make the problem worse. 2 poor girls were yelled at by a woman who had hardly been waiting 10 minutes for a huge prescription, I only know this because the girls tried to explain to her it was a prescription with 2 months of medication on it. She claimed to be deaf and that's why she was yelling but she evidently wasn't as she started speaking calmly when she got what she wanted. They're in a tough position obviously but still come in every day. Maybe more needs to be done higher up to actually help them”

Have just been to my appointment where I was seen a couple of minutes before my appointment time. The consultation was completed in a relaxed atmosphere. GP was very approachable, informative. & helpful.”

“I am very happy with the care I receive at The Mounts Medical Centre. In my opinion, they are the best medical centre in Northampton. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. Whenever I need something, they respond promptly and do their best to assist. I would especially like to mention Dr Ahmed Shurrab — an excellent doctor. He is not only a true professional with great medical knowledge, but also a kind and empathetic person with a big heart. It really makes a difference to be treated by someone who genuinely cares.
