“We recently hired Luca to cater for our evening food at our wedding, from our first contact with Luca everything was seamless and easy to sort. The pizzas served on the night were great and catered for all of guests dietary needs. All our guests loved the pizzas and were even asking for more to take home! If your looking for evening food catering for a wedding or party then we would 100% recommend!”

“It's always a risk to take your Italian mum to an Italian restaurant abroad, because you never know what you will find. In this case, we could not have made a better choice. We ate one of the best mussels dishes we have ever tried, and the pizza, made by the authentic Neapolitan chef, had nothing to envy to the pizza you try in Italy. The pasta, which is home-made, is wonderful. And portions are very, very generous, just like you to have if you were invited to an Italian family's home. They told us they actually important ingredients, including the flour, from Italy. And you can definitely taste the difference. Our host was also wonderful and made us feel very welcome and at home. We could not recommend this place more! We will be back. Italian approved!”

“We were 5 for lunch and ordered 2 starters to share and 1 main each. Incredible Italian food - everything well prepared, delicious and large portions. More than enough food for everyone (we didn’t even had space for dessert). As starters: Burrata, fig, rocket & almond pesto, honey focaccia and Beef carpaccio. As mains: - (1) Parmesan Agnolotti, Tuscan summer truffle - (3) Tagliolini, shellfish bisque, sea herbs, basil & bottarga - (1) Ondine, lamb shoulder ragu, rosemary pangrattato & salted ricotta Very nice environment, elegant and well decorated. Staff were nice and attentive. They easily accommodate us for Sunday lunch however I recommend to book in advance.”

“Great people, great food, great service. The lime pickle is the best I have tried.. The curry's are great and there is some interesting choices. They offer some decent deserts too, gulab jamin which is great too. It's very clean aswell.”

“From the moment we entered the restaurant, staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant not only looks beautiful but was also such a wide variety of food. The salad bar is extensive and full of lovely Brazilian dishes! All of the meat is really good quality and staff are quick to come round with the next meat option. The rump steak, pork belly and minted lamp were firm favourites. Definitely worth the money and would definitely visit again!”

“Spending an unplanned day in Norwich I fancied an English style restaurant lunch. Bishop’s was the first one I found among the huge range of international options. I used the online booking system but this failed to get through to the restaurant. However, there was no drama and we were seated without any delay. The service from the owner was first class as was the 3-course set lunch menu. Each dish was special and I picked up a few new ideas to try myself at home. A great experience and the set menu was excellent value for money.”

“This place is genuinely one of Norfolk’s best kept secrets. Stunning food, fantastic point and excellent service. We will happily travel from Attleborough to collect a takeaway from here. They were super accommodating to us when we arranged a surprise dinner for my dad with friends who had travelled up from LA and they opened up the restaurant especially for us on a night when it would have otherwise been closed. A gem of a restaurant!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience at Chopstix Norwich! I visited Chopstix at Gentleman’s Walk and had a fantastic meal. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour. I tried a mix of dishes — vegetable noodles, caramel chicken, salt & pepper chicken, and sweet & sour chicken — and everything was delicious. The caramel chicken was my favourite, but honestly, everything was very tasty! The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though it was busy. The restaurant was clean and well presented, and the whole experience was very enjoyable. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend Chopstix to anyone looking for a quick, tasty meal in Norwich. Great value for money too!”

“The only downside to the thaiway is trying to book a table. We visited last year and couldn't get a table ,& it was a 2 hour wait for a takeaway. To counteract that this year I thought I'd book well in advance. 9 phone calls over 10 days and all were cut off and a generic message of "we're too busy to take your call at the minute" was sent. In the end we called in at lunch time today and were able to book a table at 18.30. The service and food were of a very high standard. Nice surroundings and prompt service. All in a reasonable price. The end product was a very enjoyable experience.”

“Cool place, great food, chilled atmosphere. Beef brisket was amazing and the selection of craft beer is good too with some locally sourced stuff in the spotlight with the redwell brewing stuff also. Can’t go wrong here for about £30 for 2 couple”

“Been in Norfolk for 6 weeks , tried 2 other fish and chip shops and Jason's Fish and chips was number 3 today. This was superb, quality fish and lovely chips, the curry sauce was off the chart too. Smashed the other chippies we have tried locally so this will be the go to treat take away from now on. Portion was huge too! Very welcoming and very modern and clean, good work.”

“Looking forward to a nice evening meal with our friends here and thank goodness we had booked a table at the Indian Spoon restaurant, as this popular spot on the Norfolk broads was fully booked and queues of walk -ins were being politely turned away as we arrived. The food we were served for our evening was absolutely delicious, the chefs delivering the correct level of curry heat and their meats and sauces are up with the best I have tasted in Indian restaurants. The freshness of the ingredients here was obvious not only by the crisp salads tasty naan breads and meats on our plates but by the volume of food being sold through the restaurant and take-aways. Thank you for a nice evening handled professionally during a busy service evening.”

“1st visit and very impressed, service was impeccable and delightfully old-school, food was wonderful - inventive without being too 'trendy' and no gimmicks! Prices were appropriate for the high standards, but still reasonable. Staff were professional, friendly, but not intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and all dietary requirements catered for. Having dined at many reputable establishments throughout the UK over the years, we are delighted to find this gem on our doorstep, and we cannot understand why it has taken us so long to dine here. Brasted's is our new regular go-to restaurant.”

“We had booked a table for two on the occasion of my birthday, but didn't really know what to expect. At first, we couldn't actually find the place, despite being guided by Google maps, because it's tucked away on the first floor of a building and with only a rather non-descript sign outside. When entering the building, we were asked whether we had a reservation, and when going upstairs and entering the place, it became clear that they don't really need to advertise their presence outside, as it clearly seems hugely popular amongst people who know about it. In a way, it felt like entering a VIP club... The restaurant is much smaller than I had anticipated, and at first we felt a bit disappointed at being led to a small high table in the centre of the room. But when we realised what a special place it is, all hint of a disappointment instantly vanished. Meat cannot be selected from an ordinary menu, but must be ordered off handwritten boards, and there is only a very limited number of each cut, clearly labelled from which farm they come from. It's all about local produce, quality and presentation. This is a very special place, very different from ordinary steak houses, and it turned out to be the perfect place for my birthday meal!”

“Authentic Jerusalem street food within the city walls of Norwich. Owners are always so welcoming, very knowledgeable and proud to explain what is on their menu and to show you the special spices they import directly from Golan Heights. The falafel is lovely, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, in a dish it is combined with hummus of outstanding flavour. Then comes the great selection of pickles including gherkins, tiny pattypans, peppers and cabbage to name a few. Fresh salad features on the plate too, spicy sauces all add to create loads of flavour. Just sublime. Mint and lemon tea is a must to complete the authentic experience. If falafel is not your thing you can always try the chicken schnitzel, lamb, shakshuka, kofte, shawarma and Za’atar. There is always a good selection of cakes, vegan ones too. I love coming here for a healthy and tasty bite to eat.”

“We had an amazing ploughman’s lunch today. The bread was homemade as was the coleslaw. The onions were pickled in balsamic vinegar which were delicious. I had a lovely local cheese and my husband had a local ham. The butter was free a local farm. Well worth the money. Also a very friendly pub. Very well done.”

“This place is a must visit for Norwich, absolutely incredible, definitely some of the best in the area. Everyone I know loves and raves about XO and rightly so, the venue is lovely along with the staff and the food is reasonably priced considering how good it is. I do wish you could see what’s on the menu when booking or before going as it seems to change often and the website wasn’t up to date when we visited - would only like to know so I can time my next visit to try different menu items”

“Went for our anniversary and was Not disappointed. Amazing selection on the menu. The freshly prepared croquettes were a favourite and we. couldn't say no to a grilled Turbot paired with Sangria. Could taste and smell the fresh ingredients. The service was beyond exemplary. Such lovely people own and run the restaurant. We will definitely be back! Thank you for making our anniversary meal so special.”
