βSummary Great pub, friendly staff and owner, nice cosy dΓ©cor including a log burning stove, impressive artwork on walls. Last orders are normally 20:30, with closure at 21:00 for noise reasons I understand. A nice place for drinks, I have not sampled the food though. Detail I use this pub to go for a drink with the family, and sometimes on my own to do a little work in the corner on my laptop whilst nursing a pint. The pub is clean, well maintained, and is well laid out. The beers are clearly well looked after, and have a good selection including some local ones. The pub has 3 rooms, the main room containing the hearth/stove and the bar, the second is dominated by a large table for larger groups and a smaller room with sofas, easy chairs. I haven't sampled the food, but I have seen it brought out and it looks very good. Mainly sharing platters from what I can see. There are some board games on a shelving unit for patrons to use, and the lighting is warm and cosy. Special mention to the nut selection, in particular the salt and vinegar peanuts!β

βThis was brilliant, can't believe it. How we have carved this food. Really spot on with flavours and not bad value Many veggie dishes and an extensive menu. Loved the green and red curry And the spring rolls, you need to.order a few portions. The kids loved them as wellβ
βWe're in a motorbike group and we end up here most Friday evenings in the summer as you can always rely on the food being top notch, good portions, well priced , friendly service, we've been coming back for years.β
βThis place is genuinely one of Norfolkβs best kept secrets. Stunning food, fantastic point and excellent service. We will happily travel from Attleborough to collect a takeaway from here. They were super accommodating to us when we arranged a surprise dinner for my dad with friends who had travelled up from LA and they opened up the restaurant especially for us on a night when it would have otherwise been closed. A gem of a restaurant!β
βWe had a delicious meal here to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was Pie night and I had chicken, leek and tarragon and it was great. The staff were really kind, friendly and it was lovely to see so many customers enjoying their food.β
βBest fish and chips in town hands down!! If you haven't tried yet, itβs a must! Thank you Hon, see you again soon :-)β

βJust had a lovely meal here. Satay to share - wow, delicious. Then chicken Phad Thai and the Cod in black pepper. Quirky place with a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend;)β
βStayed for two nights. Super clean and relaxing with lovely quirky decor. Room very thoughtfully designed (lots of charging points, magnifying mirror, great shower etc). We were looked after very well by Danni whose full English breakfast is one of the best weβve ever hadβ
βBrilliant food and service, will definitely be returning!β
βPizza with chicken, lamb and jalapenos was superb!!β
βWe discovered Bella Napoli whilst holidaying in Suffolk. We were really pleased to find an authentic independent Italian restaurant and was very impressed with the extensive choice on the menu, it was very hard to pick what to go with as so many dishes I wanted to try! In the end my partner and I both opted for a pizza over pasta; he went with a pepperoni one and I went with a create your own with chicken, pepperoni, onion and basis. There was lots of toppings to choose from. When the food arrived it looked delicious and it tasted really good. There was plenty of flavour to it and the ingredients seemed really fresh, the pepperoni slices were stand out! They were both very reasonably priced too at around Β£10 each which is cheaper than most other pizza restaurants, even chain ones which are not as good! There were 3 sizes to choose from. The staff were friendly and the decor inside was clean and modern. We both really enjoyed our visit to Bella Napoli and really hope they will open up a restaurant in Norfolk next!β
βWe visited today for the 1 hour highland cow cuddling experience. I simply cannot recommend enough! The experience itself was absolutely amazing and one Iβll never forget. The young girl (so sorry I didnβt get your name) was super friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic at her job! All of the staff here are so lovely. The cafe food & drinks are exceptional and we will certainly be back! It was super busy- so ensure you book! Thank you so much!!β
βI went while on holiday October 2025. I chose it due to the fact it was rated highly by the locals. We were not disappointed. The roast dinners are fab. Good luck if you think you can get through the larger of the 2 choices. My wife had the small, and needed help. I had a burger and it was superb, texture and quality and flavour all out of this world. If we go to anywhere in Norfolk again we'll make this one of our treats for the week. Worth travelling to.β
βFood lovely, didn't stay in a room but going by the bar they must be nice. The staff were friendly, clean in bar and toilets. Nice outside seating area and large carpark.β
βLove coming here for a late evening swim. Really helps with the old fitness and mental wellbeing. Be lost without it.β
βFirst time at this lovely restaurant, food and service both excellent, highly recommendβ
βWonderful pub in a beautiful setting serving fantastic food. Itβs run by people who really care and want you to have a lovely time. Itβs also dog-friendly, with a cozy bar and a delightful B&B. An all-round classy place and highly recommended.β
βWow, what an absolutely delicious dinner - my partner and I both had the venison pie and it was truly memorable. The pub itself is v warm and smart and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Very much hope to return.β
βPerfect place as a base for visiting our daughter in Norwich. Room was fantastic and the shower was great too. My concerns about noise from the car park was unfounded, no problems at all. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, we will be coming back!β
βWe had our wedding here! Such a lovely charming place, and James and the event staff were very accommodating to us for our big day. I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. The buffet was really good and well received (with a lot of extra food for guests to take home!).β
βFrom the moment i arrived for my leaving due at The Plough Inn, it was clear i was in for something special. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and refined, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. I started with the crispy whitebait, which was beautifully presented and cooked to perfectionβlight, crispy, and packed with flavor. It was an excellent start that left me excited for what was to come. For the main course, the Wagyu burger truly stole the show. Juicy, rich, and bursting beautiful flavours it was easily one of the best burgers Iβve had. The attention to detail in the plating matched the quality of the ingredients, making it as visually appealing as it was delicious. A special mention must go to Christine, She was not only professional but also warm and attentive, ensuring the night flowed seamlessly. Her thoughtful service added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. In short, The Plough Inn delivered on every frontβtaste, presentation, service, and atmosphere. I wouldnβt hesitate to recommend it, and Iβm already looking forward to my next visit.β
βReally can't fault it easy to book and they really looked sfter our party of 11 people. Friendly staff in an atmosphetic old cinema. This is the 3rd time we have used it for a staff night out . Plenty of food and all dietry requirements covered. Great evening thank you guy's.β
βHad a lovely lunch here and tried the venison which is from the estate. The food quality was great, as was the service but the whole vibe with the fire and decor is what makes this place! Itβs a lovely atmosphere and the definition of cosy. I highly recommend if in the area β€οΈβ
βStopped for a drink and the menu looked nice so ended up having a starter! Nice place with a nice view if you sit out the front - can watch the world go by. Friendly staff and served fast at the bar for drinks - table service for food. I had pineapple juice which I am glad was sunpride - only the best !β
βMy review is for the pub & restaurant side which is so good. Very well set out with great outdoor seating and lovely areas inside too. If itβs just for a drink or for some of the truly amazing food on offer you wonβt be dissapointed. The ribs are best around no lie! Fresh crab salad was gorgeous too. Great selection of drinks make this a must stop.β
βWe had a gorgeous Sunday roast trying the pork and chicken - excellent food, amazing service, very, very loud. Food - The food was excellent, I've had a great many roasts in my time and this was one of the best, as you can see in the video the pork pulled apart with a fork and it was so juicy, the chicken came as a supreme and was very generous, the only thing worth mentioning as a negative is there was such a variety of veg that the portions of each felt mean (that's subjective and barely worth mentioning) Service - Fantastic all the way, ordering is split between food and drinks, food is ordered at the table and drinks are ordered at the bar. The server took our order really quick and the food came out very fast. They were attentive but not intrusive, A+. Drink service was swift and professional, we had soft drinks and after I had ordered they were brought straight to the table, again, this was swift. A service charge is added to the bill. Atmosphere - The bar itself is aesthetically pleasing with a reclaimed, hipsterish vibe. It's a massive open space with the bar in the centre and this is where the issues begin. It's loud, aggressively loud, I couldn't hear my partner or the staff at all and given the complete lack of soft furnishings every sound echoes around and around. As someone with sensory issues I struggled. The seating and tables are mismatched which is cute but I barely managed to get my legs under the table as the seats were too tall, the tables are also packed in close and I spent half my meal with my back touching the person behind me. There is a soft seating area at the back of the bar which I didn't see until I had already eaten, it's a much quieter and more comfortable area and I really wish I had seen it earlier. To be clear it's pretty and if you're into the whole community eating, cacophony thing, it's a good atmosphere. Accessibility - Poor, it's very tight, you won't get a wheelchair through it, it's loud so bad for people with sensory issues, there's no parking lot so you take your chances on the very tight streets outside and you'll struggle to order drinks as there are tables surrounding the bar.β
βAuthentic Japanese restaurant offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes β a great choice for those looking for traditional Japanese cuisine beyond just sushi and sashimi.β
