“Lovely venue plenty of space good menu selection lovely staff. Don't forget to charge the table lights! We struggled to read the menu it was so dark. Food was well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be booking again for my dad's 80 early next year.”

The venue itself feels a bit like a fever dream - very engaging and has a great vibe. As graphic designers, the copy writing on the menu was also very fun for us to look at. “Easy to find as it’s just off the road, a bit noisy with traffic zooming by but who cares it was nice to sit outdoors and eat a deliciously huge veggie breakfast with nice touches like braised vine tomatoes, spinach and pepper . The waitresses were really friendly and served us quickly and efficiently.”

“Fantastic Sunday roast! We had a wonderful family meal; everyone enjoyed their chosen roasts (chicken, beef, and pork). The portions were generous and everything was perfectly cooked. The cauliflower cheese was delicious! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and full of unique little details that make the space feel special. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout. We’re already looking forward to coming back to try other dishes!”

“Great takeaway. Located just outside the city. Parking is limited but there are a few spaces outside and some on the road. We had a chicken pad thai each and they were huge!!! The crackers that come with the food are super tasty too. Very quick service and hot fresh food”

“My daughter and son in law had their wedding reception here last night and wow what a lovely little pub...the landlady and staff pulled out all the stops and decorated it beautifully for them.really lovely little gem of a place will definitely be coming here for food in the future as have heard the do great food.”

“This restaurant serves truly delicious Portuguese food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bread with olive oil and olives is soft, fragrant, and a perfect start. The fried squid is fresh and full of flavour, while the Portuguese beer pairs wonderfully. A great spot to enjoy authentic tastes!”

“This place was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the décor was stunning. The portion sizes were so generous I had to take some home. There were loads of choices on the menu to choose from, but towards the end we waited ages for someone to take our dessert order. As it got busier, it felt like we’d been forgotten, and we were even told to leave before we’d had dessert because it was busier. Thankfully it got sorted, but it was a bit of a shame. Still, everything else was perfect — I’d definitely come back.”

“Normally excellent. My husband and I visited last Saturday 4/11 at 12 noon. I had a breakfast my husband had burger chips and peas. The table was cleared for us to sit down it was not wiped. My bacon was tough, sausages not very nice,my husband left most of his. It also was only warm. We go there regularly and we're very disappointed. We were wondering if it had been taken over. We did not recognise any of the Staff. Maybe it was just a bad day I don,t know.”

“Myself my wife and Daughter was in Burgh castle for a short break. We discovered this restaurant/takeaway while goggling for a takeaway which had gluten free options. We was so impressed with their friendly and understanding staff who reassured us Of their food. Our takeaway was delicious Very good ingredients and cooked so well. “This is a great upmarket pub restaurant, you can eat in the bar area or upstairs, lovely decor throughout, great service, good bar with good selection of drinks. The food is really good, well presented to a high standard.”

“Warm welcome and engaging staff who had time for friendly banter! I was a walk in solo diner and was offered a table inside straight away but I chose to eat outside. I had an anchovy olive and capers pizza which was crisp fresh and delicious also some skin on fries with truffle oil and grated parmesan which were hot crunchy and perfectly seasoned! All in all I had a very pleasant time while there, there were many people going in and out, some for takeaway and some eating in so the buzz line "neighbourhood pizzaria" was true. All you need from a restaurant is great food a pleasant environment and staff who appear to enjoy being there and Lucy's has all of those qualities in abundance! Thank you. Al”

The marinated olives for nibbles with drinks were tasty, but the bread, with balsamic and olive oil, came toasted for some reason. Serving fresh bread with this would make a vast improvement.”

I have spent months in Thailand and this absolutely stands up against some of the best meals I've had over there. The pub is an old school pub. It's not gonna win any awards for decoration. But the food 100% makes up for it This is a must visit in my option for high quality Thai food whilst in Norfolk”
