“I only had the burger, but it was exceptional, and the waitress was very nice too. She explained that tonight's was a simple menu because the service coincided with a pub quiz in the Roseberry, but I would be keen to try their more elaborate offerings on another night.”

“I have been wanting to come here for a while. We had a lovely warm welcome on a dark damp night. Warm environment with a young vibe and good music. The burgers are nice but can be a little hard to eat with their size and wetness. Very enjoyable meal and look forward to returning in the future.”

“I've been here a couple times and the food here is superb!!! The owner and another young lady were so kind and friendly! The waiting time was a bit long but it's definitely worth the wait! You can taste that all the ingredients they put in there are fresh! The pla sam rod, Tom Kha and coconut rice were amazing!!! Highly recommend!”

“The food we had from Kairali was truly delicious. The staff on the phone and on collection were more than helpful (My wife is Coeliac and they speak gluten free :-) ). “Beautifully put together menu, we went for menu 2. The rice cracker aperitif and lobster ravioli were our favourites. Service was attentive without being too much. One of the gems of the Norwich food scene.”

“What a wonderful experience staying at Regency Guest House! If you want the perfect base to explore the North Broads or Norwich then we’d recommend staying here. The rooms are big and beautifully decorated. All have en suite bathrooms and the twin had a big bathroom close by. All the bed linen is high quality and there is so much attention to detail. Selection of teas and coffee in the room and they bring you fresh milk in a thermos to use. There are biscuits too! All the hand soap and shower gel are Faith in Nature brand which is high quality, SLS and paraben free. Mark and Jane even left out some delicious Norfolk shortbread for us as a gift. Jane also washed and dried my clothes after I fell in the Broads. Above and beyond! They were so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast selection is big with Jane cooking anything you want. Neatishead is quiet and quaint so you’ll get a good nights sleep. Great pub a few mins walk away for dinner and a pint. We shall definitely come back here. Thank you Mark and Jane for the warm welcome and pleasant stay.”

“Me and my partner had THE most amazing dining experience at The Courtyard! I’ll firstly start with the atmosphere, it’s fantastic! Such a small intimate diner with the most fantastic cook and such a friendly owner! There are 6 tables inside when we was there tonight and each one of us was all chatting away! The wine recommendation we got from the owner really blew our heads off with the beautiful sweet taste (I’ll attach a photo for anybody interested) And lastly the food… wow. One word, Speechless. Out of this world food! I personally recommend the carbonara!!! Overall I now understand why the reviews are so brilliant for this restaurant. One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had and to top it all off it is so so reasonably priced! I would have paid double for the experience we had tonight. Couldn’t recommend enough , we will definitely be back soon. Thank you very much The Courtyard :)”

“What a wonderful place. Best restaurant in North Norfolk. We had Crab cake and Lamb Kofta to start. Both were light and flavoursome. We then had the Hake on roasted Mediterranean veg and Sea Bass with its, samphire and dill sauce. As it was so good we had to try the sticky toffee pud and rhubarb crème brûlée. Wonderful. Nice bottle of Aix Provençal rose washed it down nicely.”

They were super accommodating to us when we arranged a surprise dinner for my dad with friends who had travelled up from LA and they opened up the restaurant especially for us on a night when it would have otherwise been closed. “Great place to go with the family, been here a few times now to the point where we bought a season pass. Always clean and tidy, staff are always friendly and seem happy to work there. Habitats for the animals are as natural as they can be and they all look healthy and happy. Overall a great day out! The light show each year is great as well! Food was excellent, the belly pork was the most tender I've ever eaten and the tofu delicious. Well recommended, and we'll be back on our next trip”
