βWe popped in today on a mission regarding my mum and dad and had lunch while we were here. I had the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Ciabatta, which was delicious and my son had the White Horse burger, which he genuinely felt was the best burger he had ever eaten. He also said the coleslaw was worth going for on its own.β
βFirst time we had visited this restaurant since we moved to Yarmouth just over a year ago, and it won't be the last! We were greeted by such warm and friendly staff and made to feel most welcome, they took a genuine interest in making sure we had everything we needed, and the service was absolutely first class. The food was quite honestly the best Indian food we had ever had, perfectly cooked, presented and spiced, absolutely beautiful food, honestly cannot fault anything about it. The chef is clearly absolutely amazing! All in all the meal was an absolute delight, I have no hesitation at all in recommending Savoy Tandoori to anyone wanting a top class meal with fantastic service and at a very reasonable price. Thank you to all the staff, and in particular Ships who was so helpful, kind and friendly. We will be back and will be recommending to others!β
βWe had the 2 x course Sunday roast, Β£32 per head. Fabulous food - I had roast beef and chocolate peanut butter dessert.. one of the best meals I've ever had. Book early as it's very popular.β
βWalk in to make a takeaway order. We were greeted with the most amazing hospitality. The atmosphere in the restaurant while we were waiting was really pleasant. Once home and dished up the food smelt and tasted delicious. Very flavoursome and quite honestly cooked to perfection. I would most definitely order from here and I will be dining in again. Truly beautiful food with amazing, friendly and accommodating staff.β
βGreat place to go with the family, been here a few times now to the point where we bought a season pass. Always clean and tidy, staff are always friendly and seem happy to work there. Habitats for the animals are as natural as they can be and they all look healthy and happy. Overall a great day out! The light show each year is great as well! Would recommend going to that, the family loved itβ
βI've been here a few times for drinks and they do great cocktails - they also have an interesting wine list. We've wanted to eat here for a while but hadn't managed to get a table - we did manage just before Christmas though, and I'm so pleased we did. I didn't have my phone with me so no pix but the food was lovely. I'm late posting the review so don't recall exactly what we had but it was local fish and veg, beautifully cooked. Next time I'll take pics and do a more detailed review! One addendum, the bar area can get a bit noisy early on, when there is a big party of work colleagues.β
βBeautiful fresh food even made me a caprese salad and it was beautiful 'pasta gorgeous full of flavours and fresh 'pizza 10/10 my husband said. Sweets are great .Friendly staff and great atmosphere.β
βThe best Indian food in Thetford! Could not fault the food, the service, anything. Weβve eaten here several times now & we have always had a lovely time with the best food. Sal (I think was his name) is such an attentive waiter & nothing is ever any trouble for him. All of the staff are lovely & Shipon (the owner) truly cares about his customers and the food which comes across each and every visit.β
βGreat little find in the high street, has a really interesting menu, totally unexpected to the usual tea shop/cafe fare. Had the sharing platter which was delicious and I got two and a half generous cups of tea out of my pot which is generally unheard of! Great atmosphere, recommend booking as this is where all the local are. Staff very friendly and helpful and theres also an outside courtyard and loyalty card programme. What's not to love??β
βLovely hotel with an intimate feel and exceptionally considerate service. What sets this establishment apart from many others is they seem to genuinely want you to have a comfortable and happy stay. Plenty of times, the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They made a special effort to cater for dietary requirements and everywhere was super clean and maintained. The gardens are immaculate and they were setting up for a wedding on the day we left. The attention to detail was amazing. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The food was exquisitely prepared and presented. Definitely the best meal I've had this year. Felt this was good value dinner bed and breakfast package with 2 hours spa thrown in. Would recommend and return with friends and family. It would make a beautiful gift for someone you love.β
βGreat people, great food, great service. The lime pickle is the best I have tried.. The curry's are great and there is some interesting choices. They offer some decent deserts too, gulab jamin which is great too. It's very clean aswell.β
βFriendly helpful staff, great food and easy parkingβ
βBeen in Norfolk for 6 weeks , tried 2 other fish and chip shops and Jason's Fish and chips was number 3 today. This was superb, quality fish and lovely chips, the curry sauce was off the chart too. Smashed the other chippies we have tried locally so this will be the go to treat take away from now on. Portion was huge too! Very welcoming and very modern and clean, good work.β
βThis place is a must visit for Norwich, absolutely incredible, definitely some of the best in the area. Everyone I know loves and raves about XO and rightly so, the venue is lovely along with the staff and the food is reasonably priced considering how good it is. I do wish you could see whatβs on the menu when booking or before going as it seems to change often and the website wasnβt up to date when we visited - would only like to know so I can time my next visit to try different menu itemsβ
βAn amazing meal at Dhaba at 15. The food was absolutely amazing with great service. Was my 1st time and I will definitely be returning. Can recommend the Baigan kathraki achar with Patta Chaat as a starter.β
βI had a jackfruit burger, and it was incredibly deliciousβI was very impressed. Itβs one of the tastiest dishes Iβve tried in Norwich. I was particularly impressed with how they fried the jackfruit; it was amazing.β
βThis morning, I had a delightful traditional English breakfast at the Street Cafe. The staff was welcoming, polite, and friendly, providing excellent table service. The breakfast was not only well presented but also delicious. Despite the mix of customers, including young children, the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. I highly recommend this street cafe, which features a great selection of reasonably priced breakfasts and snacks, including options for both vegetarians and vegans.β
βFive of us had a lovely meal and a lovely time at the Fox & Hounds on a trip to Norfolk. We chose it for our evening meal because it had good reviews, and were happy to be able to have our booking accepted quite late in the day. We ate in one of their garden pods, which was fantastic for us as a group of five, one of whom finds taking part in conversation in noisy places challenging at times. In our own little pod/shed, with fairy lights, plenty of space, nice table and chairs, we had a lovely convivial evening. The service was great, very friendly staff looked after us well, and the food was fantastic. Outside in the garden a group were enjoying the warm evening, singing along with some music being played by a DJ. We could hear and enjoy the music and the frivolity without it being a nuisance, more of a pleasure! We all really enjoyed our meals, the menu was varied and good for all of us - I really enjoyed my very tasty vegan burger, and also the cheesecake. If we lived nearer, we'd be back!β
βLovely pub. We've been for food on several occasions and it's been great every time. This time we came for a family Christmas lunch and it couldn't have been better so I had to post. Delicious food, delightful staff and a lovely cosy atmosphere.β
βOur favourite breakfast/brunch spot in Norwich! 10/10 food and very dog friendly - staff were so nice to our dog, gave him fuss, a blanket and treats. Lovely decor vibes too inside!β
βCame in for a quick brunch. Made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Had a bacon sandwich, and honestly it was the best bacon sandwich I've ever had. My partner had eggs and avocado on toast and said that was great too. Really friendly staff, and although we didn't have anything fancy, what we did have was excellent. Great place.β
βBeautiful food, exceptional service and quality. With it being our first time visiting, we were made to feel very welcome by the lovely owner - a great man. Would definitely recommend and will be sure to revisit once weβre back in the area. Save a space out the front for the Lamborghini! 10/10β
βMy wife and I had a lovely meal at Misha's tonight. Staff were friendly and attentive and we were made to feel very welcome throughout. Food was amazing. I honestly can't recommend enough. As tourists passing through Misha's was a welcome stop and one i recommend to anyone. We hope to see you again if in this part of the world sometime soon!β
βWe had my birthday tea at the Quayside Plaza it's one of my favourite places to eat! We love the olives and fresh bread and my sirloin steak was cooked and seasoned really well and buttery soft with delicious peppercorn sauce. The citrus chicken was also so tasty! We both had drinks and dessert too so at Β£75 it was really good value. Will definitely be back again soon! Service was excellent!β
βFantastic classic breakfast, especially the sausage and hash brown. Large portion so good value for the money. Shame we don't live here or would go regularly. Friendly service too.β
βExtremely comfortable well appointed room, done to a high standard. Unfortunately the bar & restaurant was closed due to it been a Monday. So made do with excellent biscuits in the room. The breakfast next day was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. A quiet out of the way hotel with superb rooms, well worth a stay,β
βExcellent food and very tasty. Customer service was great and friendly staff.β
βThe interior was well configured to make feel like you were one of the only tables taken. Atmosphere was super relaxed and the interior decor was on point. Iβm not a fan of being rushed and fussed over while dining and the service reflected that completely, our needs were seamlessly met quite effortlessly. The food was fantastic, simple dishes done perfectly. I chose from the vegan menu and the chef definitely knows what theyβre doing. Not eating pasta any other way again.. thanks so much for a lovely birthday meal for my partner!β
βMe and partner went in last night (Saturday) for first time. The food was tremendous, very tasty and great value, we even brought half my partnerβs home which she has just had for Sunday tea. I have attended the 2 big Turkish restaurants in Norwich Gem and Haggle and this place was as good if not better and will be my go to place in future for Turkish foodβ
βLovely Cafe, great food and service with a smile. Great atmosphere whereby all made you feel welcome. We visited twice and were more than happy with everything, the owner Steve was very friendly and accommodating. If we visit Norwich again I would definitely make this one of our first stops.β
