“Lovely place bottom of bath st Ilkeston nice staff, great food handy bud stop for going back to Ilkeston centre”
“We visited this pub for the first time today. The atmosphere was lovely and staff are friendly. The pub has lots on through the week, there is plenty of parking and a kids outside area too! We will be back again soon!”
“Really pleasant little cafe, caters for recent vegetarians (such as myself!), had a full breakfast and hardly noticed there was no meat. Friendly staff, nice decor, reasonable prices.”
“Popped in to have a drink, and had a great time. Staff were lovely and really helpful, drinks were perfect (I had a non-alcoholic beer as I was driving and my wife had a lovely merlot) and the decor was cool. Cracking atmosphere and will definitely be back for the Sunday lunch and live music. Edit: Went back for Sunday dinner and drinks. The food was outstanding, the band very entertaining and the atmosphere reflected that. Thoroughly recommended.”
“Lovely food and drink stop on our walk from Breaston to Draycott”
“Our first visit, recommended by one of my colleague. We stopped for a breakfast. Great location of the tearooms as along the Grantham Canal, perfect stop if you walk or bicycle along the canal. There are plenty seats and table outside where you can enjoy nice views and greedy ducks may keep you company so be careful. If may be busy so make sure there is a table available before ordering. More table available upstairs. Great choice of breakfast and lunch, cold and hot drinks, ice creams and yummi home made cakes, scones and muffins. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was served within 10 minutes max. Great coffee! The meals were presented in nice way, good one and the portions were decent. I missed a little bit of flavour in smashed avocado, bacon was OK. The bread, sausages and tomatoes were really good. So the food was correct, I missed a little bit of taste twist. The inside decor is nice, and cosy, very clean. Toiles are located outside. What I really like about the place is the wall pictures by local artists you can buy. I am still giving 5 starts with a credit for delicious-looking cakes I am going to try next time as I will definitely be back.”
“With the weather in the minus outside, Tylers is the perfect place for a late breakfast. Not bad at all. Fresh bread? Followed by another coffee and a scone. Easy to park for 2 hours. Happy cafe.”
“nicest cooked breakfast I have had in a cafe for a long time, the portion size was really good and the ingredients tasted fresh and were cooked very well, I would definitely recommend. the coffee was also great and the servers were really friendly”
“Fantastic little cafe. Reasonable pricing Meals always taste the same”
“Incredibly attentive staff who presented a lot of thought care into the simplest aspects of the evening I.e table set up. Drinks were lovely and the food incredible. Highly recommend the Pork Belly starter.”
“Food brilliant. Clean and very pleasant dining area.”
“Amazing cafe!! The drinks and buns are devine, and we always get amazing service. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. The whole cafe has a fantastic atmosphere. It is now one of my favourite cafes in Nottingham!!”
“How has it taken me so long to visit this place!? Wow, the coffee is incredible. Had the Tanat Finca Milan as a flat white and it was superb. I'll be back to try more exotic brews as soon as possible!”
“Excellent! I had received recommendations to come here and I'm so pleased I did. They are so very friendly, have great human and dog menu's. I had a toasties for lunch and it came with humour (or colslaw), crisps and a side salad. I was totally stuffed after all that and the food quality was excellent. The coffee is also delicious and strong but smooth. I really highly recommend coming to the Dog and Bear. Bring your doggies too.”
“Certainly better than the mill and brook! The usual barman when I visit is friendly and they have a great choice.”
“If you stay in Doubletree by Hilton then you should visit their onsite restaurant. The menu is great, the food quality is outstanding so no need to search for a restaurant in Nottingham citi centre.”
“A wonderful family meal to celebrate my birthday! Staff were so attentive and lovely, food was perfect and atmosphere was fabulous! Love it here!”
“A favourite micropub of mine close to the centre of Kimberley and easily reach via Trent Barton R1 bus. Outside seating front and rear plus a little log burning stove in a snug separate building rear of the pub. Great selection of real ales and other drinks with an amazing decor - a must visit pub.”
“Love this pub. Good selection of real ale. No TV or music so you can have an actual conversation without shouting. Very dog friendly.”
“Always a great experience here, Dan makes you feel at home and serves a nice variety of beers including some good alcohol free options”
“Lovely little micropub with a few kegs on tap and cask too! Well kept beer as far as I can tell. Nice local atmosphere and decor, I like that they have lots of traditional ales along with the usual craft stuff. It's all table service and the staff are friendly, for what it is the beer is also very well priced. Menu is now via a qr code. Pleased to call it my local.”
“Not to be missed.... Beeston is blessed with good pubs, this one has to be on the stroll.....”
“Amazing gem, so lucky to live close by. Customer service is impeccable and friendly, can-do attitude is so warm and lovely. All the staff are trained well - not a badly made coffee ever, and the service is always personable and tailored to you as an individual. We are blessed to have Portobello in our neighbourhood. It is a fun, relaxed vibe and the music is always top notch! I love the soft reggaeton play into the street, it brightens the day when doing mundane grocery tasks.”
“What a find…. Such a lovely place. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Popped in for a coffee with a friend, very relaxed vibe. We just had coffee today but my friend assures me food is always good. I am definitely returning to check this out”
“This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Nottingham. Cosy vibes. Good quality French cuisine. Friendly service - Roman is so lovely. I always look forward to seeing what specials will be on the board. Keep doing what you are doing!”
“Fantastic breakfast - all really well seasoned and quality ingredients. The staff were super friendly and the place has a great vibe.”
“Came in after work for drinks and a great atmosphere. (Empty when we arrived as mid week and early). Good range of drinks available”
“First visit to the games cafe and loved the whole experience. Fantastic selection of games for all the family. Table service is a bit slow but it was a really busy day with lots of bookings and did not cause an issue. Ordered 3 pizzas for the family to share and as there is only one pizza oven it did take a while but we were advised at the time of booking so no problem. Good selection of hot, cold, alcoholic and milkshake drinks available. We had a large booking and all enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend and go again.”
“Bea was a wonderful server, service was great. Been here a couple of times for brunch, had eggs Benedict with plenty of coffee. Sat in the other room to have a bit more of a layed back time”
“Myself and a friend so much enjoyed our afternoon tea here which was delicious and just the right size with great value for money. The waitresses were lovely and the service excellent. We will be back thank you so much.”
