“Went to Wagamama in Notts today with my friend for lunch. Everything was top notch. The food was delicious. I had the fried greens, ebi katsu, and chicken katsu curry, my friend had the duck gyoza and prawn curry. We had a beer and a cocktail. The food arrived hot and fresh, yummy! Thankyou chefs. The highlight of our stay were the staff. We were greeted by the hostess and taken to our table of choice, served by another friendly young chap, but there's one staff memeber who stood out above all others, anywhere I've ever been to and thats a young lady named Sophie. Studying at university who works to earn her spending money. She was a delight, a credit to Wagamama. She was so kind and friendly, so ambitious and I see a great life ahead for her. I think anything she does, she will do it well. Thanks for the wonderful service Sophie, you were the shining light above all others today, and made our rare luncheon really special. Cheers from Shirley and Vannessa, the 2 women who nearly talked you to death:-)”

“Had a spot of light lunch and a few drinks (non alcoholic) whilst waiting for my car to be serviced at the nearby Volkswagen garage. It's set on the main road but has a lovely outdoor area as well as plenty of space inside. Was pleasantly surprised with how busy it was on a Monday lunchtime! The staff are absolutely lovely and very polite / attentive. Really clean environment - including the toilets which were spotless. The food was really fresh, incredibly tasty and good value. It's a greene king so you know that the drinks are going to be cheap but they were still nice. Overall I was really satisfied with the experience and I look forward to coming back and trying some more of the menu.”

“Visited here on a busy Saturday evening, I didn’t have to wait long for a table and the service was brilliant. Food came out quickly and was piping hot. Catered brilliantly for allergies and felt happy that everything was separated and overseen by a manager. Love the new honey dip that comes with the halloumi starter, a new favourite of mine. Shout out to Connor and Koby, top service and couldn’t be more helpful”

“Went for a bottomless brunch as usual place was fully booked and I'm glad it was! Tacos were awesome and the cocktails on the brunch menu were far beyond what I had expected. The staff were also very friendly and passionate. Would definitely go again for a brunch/some tacos and or cocktails! Best Pina Colada I've ever had!”

“We came in on a busy saturday morning for brunch, staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. There was some building fault towards the end of our time there that meant they were closing early but the staff handled it amazingly and we never knew there was an issue, and we weren’t rushed to leave after they decided the kitchen had to be closed. Definitely will be making this a regular spot for weekend treats.”

“Here's the short version: great food and great service. Our waiter was really helpful. Given the tapas nature of the restaurant we were unsure about how much to order without overdoing it, and with his help we got it just right. We branched out a bit and tried things we hadn't had before, and it was all fantastic. The tacos and the paneer tapas dishes were a highlight. I also loved the Thali, I had a few favourites (the lamb dish and the lentils one), but everything was great. We also treated ourselves to a cocktail which was delicious, and very reasonably priced as part of their pre-7pm "2 for £12" deal. Honestly I'm ashamed it took us so long to try this place. We certainly won't leave it that long til next time, we're coming back soon!”

“Our first time ordering and it won't be the last. Great food, delivered on time and hot. We tried different dishes to our usual go to ones as there are many options on the menu. We were not disappointed, will order again. Plus they have a stamp scheme which we were unaware of which is an added bonus.”

“Had heard good things about Chai Yo Thai so when craving a Pad Thai recently we decided to give it a go. What a brilliant decision. We each had the Saturday lunch deal and went for a honey and lemon tea each to go with it. The tea was delicious and sweet and the food was equally as good. My satay skewer starters were tender and beautifully charred and the sauce was fantastic. The Pad Thai main was equally as good. Portion sizes were very good too and the service was excellent. Now we've tried Chai Yo Thai we'll definitely be back again rather than going to the larger chain restaurants - the food and value is so much better.”

“Genuinely I travel the full uk with work, Leeds,London,Cornwall etc and this has to be one for the best little cafes I've ever been too, it's simple, well priced, catered for everything I asked for. The omelette was seasoned and flavourful, fried bread was done perfectly and the hash browns were juicy! I live 6 hours north and I will genuinely be back again when I'm in the area. Thanks for the service with a smile.”

“Went to chai roti last night for the first time, they were clearly very popular with people coming in and out to collect their food. The man at the counter took time to explain the menu to us telling us they make everything fresh so can adapt our order to our liking spice wise etc. We pre ordered for an hour later as had only popped in for a menu and it was a little early for us to eat. When we went back, the man was just as friendly and very helpful. The food was just as good as the service we had received. The best Indian take away we have had in a very long time. Everything was hot the naans were very soft and the flavours were lovely. We could tell everything had been made fresh and not just reheated as weve had from other takeaway restaurants. We will definitely be back again to try other things on the menu. Thank you for a lovely meal.”

“Best breakfast ever. I recomend this to anyone for the first time in Nottingham and looking for where to eat. Nice vegetarian and vegan options. Great matcha late and chai late. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Also, decoration is lovely.”

“Fantastic food and service for our wedding anniversary dinner. Atmosphere excellent until 4 obnoxious and entitled diners took offence for 3 young girls waiting for their take out food behind their table. The diners were absolutely in the wrong in this situation and spoiled the atmosphere for all other diners by their behaviour. Old enough to know better and should be ashamed of themselves. If I were the owner I would have kicked them out!”

“Ordered delivery from here a few times now - highly recommend. Everything is so fresh and flavoursome. Our favourite is the salmon temaki hand roll and we order one each to avoid fighting! We’ve ordered with friends visiting from Shanghai who were super impressed.”
