“My dog(Bonnie) has been coming to Ruffles since she was a puppy and we absolutely love it here! She uses the daycare and grooming facilities and we've always had a positive experience. All the day care staff are lovely and the manager Ryan is always accommodating. We wouldn't go anywhere else! x”

“Little Ronnie is a little fussy guy at the best of times but he loves coming here. He struggles with dogs but he's become a lot more confident and welcoming since going to Heartland. The Team are amazing and always make us feel welcome and help out when I need to change bookings at short notice. Best doggy daycare/overnight stop in the area without a doubt.”

“It was our first time leaving our vizsla with Bridge house, we have tried a few other kennels with "luxury" facilities but our dog has not come home in better shape and condition than when he went here. The positivity started when they owner wanted to meet Axel, we got a full guided tour and I could see how much they cared for dogs. I was spoken through all my options in regards to food and told how his day would pan out. I was really pleased to hear that Axel would be visited regularly and given a couple of small walks per day. In previous kennels he has not been walked and as a high energy dog he needs exercise. Axel came home after 10 days in top condition, I was ready to bath him and give his bedding a good wash.... but their was no need! He had been given a bath and smelt amazing and was super soft, his bedding and toys had also had a wash!. I was so impressed with this , and I have never experienced this before even with "luxury" high end kennels. The staff made sure he was given his filled kong every day and his evening bone (we provided these). As I saw Axel being bought out for collection, prior to him noticing us he was trotting along with the staff, so happy. The owner even called the next day to apologise for not being on site during collection and a few miscommunication regarding pick up time. I would 100000% recommend and leave my dog here again. He has come home, happy, healthy and smelling delightful. Thank you x”

“First time I have used this kennel and it’s now the only kennel I’ll use. Took two dogs of mine and they came back so happy (came back very nervous from other kennels) I had photos sent to me on request and a video and it was so nice to see them happy running around whilst I was away. They also had a bath whilst there. The kennel seemed extremely clean. Thank you so much.”

“An amazing out of this world Anniversary treat an overnight stay and full tasting menu experience. I could never find enough wonderful words to describe how much we enjoyed our visit. The service and staff were fantastic over and above any normal experience. But the food deserves its own range of superlatives the chef's are without doubt incredibly talented and a credit to Sat Baines ( who was in the kitchen) If you ever want to try an unforgettable experience this is it well done and thank you.”

“What a hidden little gem and so near to home! The whole experience was amazing. The staff were very pleasant, cheerful and informative. As for the food, WOW! The presentation and the food wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin restaurant, it was that good! Will definitely be going back!!”

“A fantastic little pub with a great atmospher and a great selection of beer. We stopped while on a walk and having walked past the two other pubs in the village we couldn't resist the woodlark. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and the out door seating area was packed, booking a table to eat would be esential. We didn't eat but the menu looked good and we'll be back next week to give it a go.”

“We have stayed here a few times now and will always choose to stay here to break a long journey. The rooms are immaculate, beautifully presented and every detail thought of. A superior stay for a budget price. It's also dog friendly. Can't recommend it highly enough.”

“We stayed here for a quick over night stop while looking at a new car, the garage booked the room for us, and there is nothing bad about this stunning, funky Stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, the room was small but lovely decorated, clean and tidy, lovely bed and pillows. Nice little sun area, lawn etc, nice full breakfast, couldn’t ask for more. It’s a little close to the main road, so if you a light sleeper, may keep you up. It’s not a busy road though, but can be heard, wasn’t a problem for us. Overall 5 stars Good safe parking”

I love all the little extras, the fairy lights, the booklet with local restaurants, the welcome basket and the robes! The site is lovely and clean and very safe with secure gates and you have your own access code. The pods are very private and not to close to other guests. Can't wait to book our next stay!”
