“Not visited for a while but enjoyed our meal although the accompanying veg/potatoes with the salmon were a little oily. My husband enjoyed his steak and the chips were dry and crisp. Evie our waitress was cheerful and friendly and efficient checking we had everything we required. Good value for money.”

“Hello! This is Ella, we had a reservation today and it went wonderfully. We was a full group with 13 people including some with health and mental issues. They accommodated us perfectly, ensuring we was okay, giving us our food just in time and helping when we needed it. They were very kind and the food was absolutely divine, every piece being enjoyed by everyone in the group even the pickiest of eaters. Thank you all for the great service and food!”

“I went to Revolution with a group of work colleagues last Friday for drinks. We were surprised to see that Happy Hour was on 21:00 (much later than other bars) so we made the most of this! Staff were very friendly, and there's a huge variety of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), so everyone is catered for. Service did seem a little slow (even when it was fairly quiet for a Friday night) but the drinks were superb. Plenty of spaces to sit, and they also came around with shots for the table (which was great fun). Bouncers were also present on the door after 21:00, so it does feel very safe.”

“My family’s experience was excellent; the team at this Holiday Inn really make the best of what’s available in terms of the property and service provided A complimentary drink was offered whilst waiting to check (we arrived at a busy time, around 3:30pm), which was welcoming. All staff members who we met were friendly and attentive. Food served in the restaurant and at breakfast was good quality. I will recommend this hotel as a stopover point for anyone needing an overnight break whilst travelling between north/south.”

“The food was great with good portion sizes. My daughter and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and had the escovitch fish, prawns, cabbage, sweetcorn, carrots, plantain with rice and peas. Trevor and all of his staff were very welcoming, friendly and provided excellent customer service. We will definitely be returning to eat and 'party' at one of the themed events. “Truth Bar? More like yes please bar. Located on James Street in the heart of nottingham the truth bar is coronary artery of Nottinghams nightlife, pulsating it's vibrant ethos around the city. Upon entering the truth bar at 6pm on a Saturday I did not expect it to be busy but after friendly door staff let us in waving the entrance fee so generously I was amazed to see the bar full with an eclectic mix of people enoying it's pain rassis et encore du pain rassis style. The drinks were reasonably priced. Upon sitting at one of the booths some local girls came and sat with us. I was taken back by the Friendly atmosphere and chilled vibe, after a discussion about parents maiden names and favourite colours the girls made there way off into the night. The dance floor is spacious and there was ample room for people to get finger blasted near the DJ booth. We got talking to the manager who explained the refurbs had been designed to give the Truth bar a retro european trash feel. The toilet did have a slight hole in the roof and there was no toilet paper so presubambly the European feel they are going after is Chernobyl. Was very tempted by the offer of a VIP table for Only £300 however I remembered I was not clinically insane so made do.”

“Read endless bad reviews last minuet and was very hesitant to stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely friendly staff who we expressed our concerns to and said if there was any problems please let them know. We then went to our rooms to be very happy. Clean rooms with two DOUBLE beds TWO clean bathrooms. I then contacted my dad who had read these bad reviews and told him how great it was. Once enjoying our rooms unpacking and finding lots of fresh towels another great point. We also had a mini fridge that was FREE!!! We went to the lobby to say how pleased we were with the hotel. It was a fun, friendly hotel the staff were wonderful and we will be booking again. If you are looking for 5 star quality rooms with rose petal beds then don't book but if you want a friendly hotel with a comfy bed and close city location for excellent prices then this is the hotel. Thank You to the staff and I hope more people write good reviews. We (myself and three friends) defiantly will be staying again and found no problems with the hotel.”

“What a gem! Not just a micro bar. Authentic, delicious Sri Lankan home cooking. We're lucky to have this in Beeston. I had mainly the veggie dishes but the chicken was lovely too, and I'm told the mutton dish was also gorgeous. First visit and we'll be back! The food is cooked fresh on the day, you can tell it's made with love, and if you like, or want to try, Sri Lankan food, you must visit!”

“Went for a bottomless brunch as usual place was fully booked and I'm glad it was! Tacos were awesome and the cocktails on the brunch menu were far beyond what I had expected. The staff were also very friendly and passionate. Would definitely go again for a brunch/some tacos and or cocktails! Best Pina Colada I've ever had!”

“This is my local, it's a micro pub that specialises in real ales. Expect to sit down next to someone and talk to them and laugh. If that's too much it's not the place for you. The dogs that come up to you for a cuddle are all friendly so be nice. There's no warm food, but some nights there's a fuddle on the table and chestnuts roasting on the stove.”

“I've been a customer of Primo for many years. The owner has always been friendly and it's always had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I popped in Sunday afternoon with the family and dogs after a nice walk. We had paninis and a pint which were quality. We sat in the outside seating/dining that perfectly resembles the outdoor dining areas of Italy/France. This is great to start seeing more of this in the UK. There's plenty of public parking and access to public transport on Carlton Hill. I thought I'd also mention that my wife had a delicious croissant and they have an excellent selection of pastries. 10/10 looking forward to my next visit.”

“My husband and I stumbled across this pub after doing a walk in the area and we were really pleasantly surprised. This has to be one of the nicest outdoor seating areas I’ve come across! So many gorgeous flowers and just such a pleasant atmosphere. We had the steak pie which was lovely and a nice cold pint that went down a treat. The staff were lovely and friendly and the prices were very reasonable too! So, if it’s a nice day and you’d like a drink in a lovely, quiet beer garden, look no further!”
