“Great quality pan pizzas - good value and I keep coming back for more.”
“Had such a great time at LaFontana!! This is my first time visiting England from the US, and I was amazed by the food and service that I went to get the same meal two days in a row. The menu is exceptional, you can literally get anything you want, they got burger, pizza, steak, and even seafood! I’d go there every day if I could!”
“Lovely food, tasteful combination of flavours with each course. Excellent service, all the staff were very welcoming and friendly, though the lady who served me, Catia, made the whole experience just that touch better.”
“I was attending a reunion event, which was a private affair in a side room. The service of the staff was superb. The food was tasty and well presented.”
“Fantastic experience stopping in for lunch. The OXBO burger was probably the best burger I have eaten recently, the addition of rarebit made for a delicious twist on a conventional cheese burger. Highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff were attentive, but not intrusively so. I felt looked after. The cafe has a lovely calm atmosphere, but not boringly so. There were a few customers in giving it a good vibe, but without being hectic - I didn't wait long for service or for my food to arrive. It would be an ideal place for someone looking to have a working lunch, and there are spaces set out with power outlets for those with busy working schedules. Very conveniently located a few minutes away from Green Park, making for a nice change to eating in the company cafe if you are working nearby.”
“Zero degrees Microbrewery Review: A Blend of Great Brews, Bites, and Atmosphere Recently, I had the pleasure of taking my uncle, visiting from India, to a local microbrewery with a restaurant, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience. The brewery's ambience was a standout feature—industrial yet inviting, with gleaming tanks, pipes, and brewing equipment creating an immersive setting for craft beer enthusiasts. The atmosphere felt lively yet relaxed, perfect for a casual outing. We started with a couple of drinks, and the brewery's offerings did not disappoint. Each sip reflected the artistry of small-batch brewing. For food, we opted for a wood-fired mushroom pizza, buttermilk chicken, and classic French fries. The pizza was a revelation, with a crisp, charred crust and fresh toppings that made every bite flavorful. The buttermilk chicken was succulent, tender, and seasoned to perfection, while the fries were crisp and addictive—an ideal accompaniment to our drinks. The service added another layer of charm to our visit. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.”
“Very good service by the girl she always smiles and greets happily, most recommended”
“I had an amazing experience at The Botanist Reading as part of a team-building event! The food was outstanding - I started with the Hanging Kebabs with Halloumi Cheese, which was grilled to perfection, and the Hummus was creamy and delicious. For dessert, the Cookie Dough was rich and indulgent. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, with great service. Highly recommend The Botanist Reading for a fun and memorable team-building event or dinner with friends!”
“Great atmosphere; the staff are welcoming with friendly and smiley faces. The pasta service was fast and helpful. Tried the Spicy Pollo Pasta and was tasty; it was ‘al dente’ consistency and pasta sizes was decent. Tips are: -you can self order or also order via the counter with helpful staff if it your first time. -they have nice coffee, though also can help yourself to free tap water with glass by the cutlery area. -wide selection of hot and cold food/drinks. -no need to book as the service is fast. Overall I would recommend a try and visit; positive vibes, lively music (was there during a special promotion), modern and fun.”
“This is my first time at TGI Fridays and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience, the food was priced perfectly and the portions were a good size as well. The staff here were very kind and helpful with everything, they also were very speedy with getting our food out. Food quality was very tasty and looked very appealing. I would definitely come back here again.”
“Surprised by how high quality the food and cocktails are! Loved everything - especially the devilled toast, the pork shank was done perfectly and delicious salmon too. We had two cocktails each person, really impressed with how they use fresh fruits rather than fruity syrup - do try their specials!”
“Best pizza in Farnham, and that includes their Gluten Free base. Delicious with great ingredients. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. My favourite is the Italian pop music, and trattoria style decor. A real neighbourhood restaurant, a gem x”
“We found Avanti by accident during a rather soggy few hours at BunkFest. We booked a table, left to enjoy more music and headed back. The welcome and service was excellent despite the business of the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and house red....yum! We don't live in the town but will definitely be back. If you're looking for an authentic Italian with fresh ingredients and super service, this is the place to go.”
“We stopped here for brunch (it was very busy) and it was really great! Staff were lovely and food was good! The portions were huge - I had the Bougie breakfast and the French toast was so YUM! High chair provided for our baby. Would definitely go back.”
“We try steak double cheese pie and lamb mince pie, not bad, gravy also recommended”
“Very good local pub with a friendly atmosphere. The decor is classic old school, the are 2 very nice, old looking wood burning stoves. The bar staff were friendly enough and the beers on tap were very reasonably priced, especially for a pub down south! We went on a Friday and it was busy, but I think that adds to the atmosphere, but turn up early to get a table if you're a big group. I will definitely be returning on the not too distant future and recommending this pub to friends and family. Oh, and it is cash only, so come prepared.”
“We had 2 incredible meals at Sapori di Casa that truly lifted our spirits after 2 long days. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and the portion sizes were far more generous than you'd expect for such a reasonably priced menu. Service was top-notch. Alessio, who I remember as being either the manager or head waiter, was brilliant — attentive without being overbearing, happy to accommodate small tweaks to our orders, and always ready with a helpful recommendation. His friendly nature and Italian charm added to the relaxed, welcoming vibe of the place. Our group of seven had travelled from Glasgow for a funeral, and these 2 dinners over 2 nights gave us a chance to unwind in a gentle, joyful way. It was nourishing in every sense — great food, great atmosphere, and genuinely lovely people. Highly recommend.”
“Hands down THE BEST pizza in Aldershot. Doesn’t taste like some cheap takeaway pizza that you can get anywhere. It feels almost as if it’s homemade. The restaurant itself is very nice. You may not notice it but there is an area with some tables if you go down the corridor. You can definitely see how passionate the owners were when making this place and well… the food. I also reccomend the spaghetti carbonara”
“Simon & Jason are celebrating 20 years since they opened the Wellington Arms & it's packed every day when open with regulars & new 'word of mouth' clients. 10 out of 10 for quality of food, service, atmosphere & beautiful garden & surroundings. Great menu & daily dishes that made it difficult to choose. I had the 2xbaked cheese souffle stacked with a mountain of finely grated parmesan & my friend had scallops (both simply the best) followed by perfectly cooked calves liver on a bed of mashed potato & leeks with pancetta & perfect mix of herbs then their home-made ice cream.”
“We went to Daniele Sicilian for our Golden Wedding anniversary. We took 20 friends and family and had an amazing time. The food was excellent everyone enjoyed it, there were no complaints other than there more than enough. The staff could not have been more helpful, they were attentive but discreet. We will certainly be visiting again. Thank you all so much for making our special day sogood”
“My first experience of Polish food and I was very impressed. The portions are enormous! Lots of variety on the menu and well cooked. Very friendly service and a great selection of beers. I recommend trying the honey beer!”
“Absolutely fantastic hidden gem absolutely amazing food and very good prices too and also generous portions lovely tasting food and not to oily couldn't fault it would definitely use again as my regular now I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone well done to the staff and chefs keep up all the hard work and also dilivery was quick too and friendly”
“A wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and full of positive energy, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. Truly deserving of a 5-star rating.”
“This Italian restaurant was packed even on a regular weekday — and after tasting the food, I completely understand why. Everything we ordered was expertly prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommended.”
“The quantity of food was impressive. None of our party finished. Quality was good as well. Service friendly and efficient. Parking outside the pub was ok on the road. The pub parking was tight.”
“Easily the best pizza in town. It reminds me of the ones I had when visiting italy. The dough is amazing, the ingredients are fresh, and the cheese is simply melting. I love coming here.”
“Nice place fairly large. Had a pizza it was quite large and very good.”
“I took my wife for her birthday here, and I must say, it was a memorable experience. The food they served was exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to a wide range of preferences. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and courteous, making us feel truly special. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. It's safe to say that this place left a lasting impression on me, and I'm sure to return in the future.”
“Can't real fault this place - lovely location in a courtyard off the high street, great staff and very good food. I also had takeaway ice cream in a cone which was delicious. Only grumble would be a better choice of red wine as only two - not a fan of Malbec I went for the the other which did warn it was quite tannin. Maybe look at having a Primovito.”
“Great tasty food! Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely come back when we'll be back in the area!”
