“I arrived 15mins early for my shopping. Expecting to be turned away only to be greeted by 2 lovely gents. I believe there names were harry and Steve. They were extremely helpful considering I am in a wheelchair. They packed my shopping while also having a laugh with me. Top lads. Can’t thank them enough.”

“I usually shop at Aldi, but over time I end up with a list of stuff they don't sell. Popped into co-op and they had it all, cardamon pods, sesame oil, fresh lasagne sheets. Great range for a small supermarket.”

“I came in here about 5 months ago and the owners are a such nice people. Nothing is too much. I don’t see them as shop owners more as friends. There are local shops and then this place. Amazing place and great selection of food and cold beers at reasonable prices!”

“I live about a mile from Roots,and drive and walk by regularly. But I never noticed it. Now, I call in quite regular for a cappuccino which is to die for. It is so creamy and tasty. It beats C@%&A and the like any day. I have never tried the food, but what I have seen looks very tasty. The staff are very polite and friendly. The premises is quite large, and there is a decent size room for private functions. The single use toilet is always very clean. There is parking to the front. All in all a great place for a meet up with friends for a catch up and a coffee and a snack. Opening times. Sunday closed. Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Saturday 9am to 2pm Closed Bank Holidays. Except school holidays. 9am to 2pm.”

“Went with my partner to the wine tasting we ith z set menu absolutely loved it, fantastic service from the waitress and waiter my partner got on really well with Danny, same daft sense of humour, he told us he's finishing the course soon and has a permanent job. “We stopped here for breatfast on our journey to go biking at sherwood forest. The breakfast was really nice, freshly cooked and a amazing cheap price. We bought some homemade cakes and the kids got to pick some 1p sweets for later in the day. The owners are lovely, they are a village shop/cafe so call in and give them your trade, it was only 6 miles away from the sherwood forest. As they are small they don't have a toliet.”

“We called in today to support this new venture and although one of the owners is my sister I like to think my review is honest and unbiased, Debra and June have got everything spot on the décor is brilliant and the Coffee and cream scones we had were worth the drive up from Leicester. “I called Coco today to order a takeaway salad from their new deli bar Tom, Dick and Harriets. The order was easy to place and ready to takeaway as soon as I got there. I was welcomed with the most beautiful warm and friendly staff. My sons absolutely loved the olive and feta salad box and it easily fed them both. As a mum it ment alot to me that my boys could enjoy some homemade healthy and nutritious food to take home rather than your average "takeaways" . We can't wait to come back and enjoy coffee and cake at Coco and also takeaway some more delicious food from the deli. This is exactly what Mansfield needed.”

“What delightful place! Had a decadent hot chocolate made with actual chocolate flakes in hot milk, mini marshmallows and cream. The baked potato was divine, as was my fiancées chicken and brie panini !”

“Great hospitality and good selection of beers. Lovely atmosphere with the locals all seeming to know each other but warm and welcoming to me as a first time visitor. The chap behind the bar was keen to tell me about all the beers and the ethos of the place which was interesting. Great NE IPA on keg right now. Next I'm in Mansfield I'll drop in.”

Think fine dining for some, but without unnecessary faff and with more accessible dishes on the menu. The service is friendly and classy - we’d visit more if we were closer.”
