“We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.”

“Visited this morning with a friend and had such a lovely experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was fantastic – the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale were perfectly done, and the coffee was spot on. A great start to the day!”

“First Breakfast visit , WOW , what a fantastic welcome from every single member of staff on duty 1/11/25 , we came into contact with including chef , it was very obvious it’s a lovely place to work , everyone presented as enjoying work , very friendly, informative , helpful and engaging , the restaurant was lovely and clean , what a lovely cooked breakfast, I had 2 today , the continental choice was lovely and the choice of drinks available puts any other chain to shame . We will definitely be back and we are letting all our friends know we loved our visit. I do hope we won’t be disappointed in future visits, but somehow I don’t think so , well done everyone”

“Excellent and friendly service! Great Sunday Dinner carvery, the food was perfect! The variety of meats were great and they were cooked to a very high standard! I would highly recommend this friendly pub. The music played varied to accommodate all ages however I found some of the modern songs challenging on the ears!”

“The service is always great here. The staff are always friendly and professional. I also really like that every Capo Lounge has the same vibe through the UK. The ones I have been to in Mansfield, Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon are anyway. I can honestly say we have never had a problem with the service here. We eat and fine dine most weekends, but we still just love going for a good old English Fry Up! The cocktails are lush and YES, I drank one before 12pm ;)”

“Booked for a Sunday morning breakfast. Service finished at 10.30am which I hadn't seen on the website anywhere. We were late due to a road closure but they kindly still accommodated us and just asked if we could order quickly. The food was excellent although my father-in-law was rather overwhelmed with the amount of food in his Piggy Hash ( a lot) . He still managed to eat most of it though. Our first visit but will definitely be back to try a lunch sometime soon. Outside looks great too.”

“Bit of tea today at Jimmy's Kitchen. Starters - Stuffed vine leaves and Hummus. Both top class and very tasty Mains - Jimmy's special and chicken kebab. Both served with bread rice and Salad. Top quality ingredients and great tasting. Would highly recommend”

“I've eaten a couple of times at Butcher & Catch recently and will definitely be back. I've been once on a weekday night to get dinner with a mate and again to their beer tasting collab with Abbeydale brewery. Both times they were lovely, everything felt easy and the food was banging. It's like creole comfort food, so it definitely feels pretty unique in Sheffield. They're not limited to that though, I had some amazing Jerk beef and a few other things there too so it's a bit of a mix. I loved it.”

“Reopened for 2weeks now. Had a burger and lasagna today. Food was freshly made. Burger was very testy and delicious, one of the best burgers I have ever had. Good quality meat, well cooked and spiced, home made chips, lovely. Would recommend and will come again.”

“Great takeaway, win one of the best burgers in Sheffield. Having lived in Sheffield for 13 years have tried our fair share of takeaway burgers. These guys are definitely up there. The bread is something else and the toppings were fresh and delicious. A mountain of chips to accompany, which were on the cold side, but will let that slide! Definitely recommend!”

“We came here on 30/7/25 for my daughter’s birthday, a party on 10. We had amazing service from Jenny who waited on us and couldn’t do enough for us. She took all our drink and food orders so we didn’t have to go up to the bar or order seperatly. The food came out hot, fresh and we got all the meals together. The food was delicious. Would definitely recommended the Hare & Hounds for both the service, food and value for money.”
