βHighly reccomended... I needed someone to look after my dog whilst we went away, my dog is nervous around other dogs and I was a little worried if she would be fine.. tori and the team assured me that she would be fine and I couldn't have asked for a better service, she was made welcome and at home from the minute we pulled up outside. It is like a holiday camp for the dogs. It really is a home from home service as the dogs are like a little family there. Couldn't reccomend enough 5ββ
βI recently had the pleasure of working with Trailfinders to plan a multi-centre trip, and I have to commend their rep, Katy Drew, for her exceptional service over the phone. From our first conversation, it was evident that Katy was a true expert in her field, master-of-her-subject. She immediately picked up on key details that I hadnβt even considered, such as the impact of time zone changes on my itinerary. For example, she suggested booking a hotel room for the night before our arrival, ensuring we could check in at 5:00 AM without any delaysβa detail that made all the difference in our comfort. After I provided a rough outline of our trip, Katy asked me to give her some time to refine the details. To my surprise, she was back on the phone within just two hours, ready to walk me through a comprehensive and well-thought-out plan. Her confidence and knowledge were evident, and I didnβt hesitate to confirm the bookings right away. A few days later, I decided to upgrade our flights and hotel rooms. Katy handled these changes with remarkable efficiency. In no time, everything was updated and seamlessly accessible through the Trailfinders app, which made keeping track of our journey a breeze. No hidden agenda just acknowledging a straightforward, high-quality service. Iβm more than pleased with the experience and will definitely be returning to Trailfinders for future trips. A big thank you to Katy for representing the company so well and making my travel planning effortless and a fabulous experience for my wife and I.β
βExcellent customer service, if there is a problem with the property they will immediately send someone to come and fix it. Our house is also in a very convenient location at an affordable price for Students. Cannot recommend them enough.β
βI stay hear for work.the room is always spotless with plenty of team coffe and Chris is spot on I'll be back there on Monday see you then buddy.β
βA clean, comfortable value for money hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. A great base for exploring the peak district.β
βWe dined at the Rutland Arms in Bakewell on 6th November. The dining room is outstanding and matched by food which is cooked to perfection and service provided by a team who cares for their guests. The menu is very well priced. The venue also has a fab bar to pop in for a drink or coffee. I wholeheartedly recommend you visit and you won't be disappointed.β
βWe absolutely love this pub and always look forward to returning when we are in the Peaks. The beerβs kept well and the food is excellent. The whole pub has a great feel to it. Never change!β
βLovely rooms, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with White Company toiletries. I gave 4 stars for room as would have expected a Nespresso (similar) coffee machine. Parking is first come first served basis in the car park opposite; Β£1 for 6pm to 8am and then you need to pay daily charges so I'd suggest downloading the pay to park app. From 3pm to 12 noon cost Β£11 in parking charges. We parked easily but it was low season. Friendly check in but there wasn't anyone on reception at checkout and the place isn't staffed overnight but there is a contact number you can ring if there are issues, hence 4 stars. Breakfast very nice in coffee shop attached to hotel, 10% discount for hotel guests and Β£15 each for a very generous full English breakfast with a drink. Would recommend both cafΓ© and hotel.β
βBooked in for the night before my wedding, room immaculate, amazing shower, staff incredible, one of the best beds i found in a hotel in years. Service excellent, 5 stars all the way.β
βCame here for my husband's birthday recently, having not been for a long time, and it was just as good as we remembered. The Let's Do Lunch menu is such good value for food of this quality. My husband said it was the best meal he'd had in ages. The service is also excellent with friendly, attentive staff, and it's such a beautiful setting. We'll be back!β
βWe had a great stay at the Ibis Budget. For a budget hotel, the rooms were great, with good bathrooms. Lovely bar area. Good food and drink. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Good location for everything we wanted to do. The Moor car park is a little bit of a walk with luggage but we brought the car to the back of the hotel which made it easy. Thanks to all the team.β
βI came here with a group of 15 uni students, the location was perfect and the rooms were spotless. The staff here genuinely made our trip, they were super friendly and accommodating. We hired out the meeting room in the evening which was great for a group of our size.β
βExcellent stay at Leopold Hotel Sheffield. The hotel is stylish, clean and very comfortable, with well-appointed rooms and great attention to detail. The staff were friendly, professional and always helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and close to shops, restaurants and attractions. A calm, welcoming atmosphere and great value for money. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.β
βReally nice and quiet place to stay. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short visit to Steel City.β
βA hidden gem. Every member of staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were pristine with snow white bedding and bathrobes. The bathroom was very spacious with a large shower. We had dinner and the meals we had were very large and tasty. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it .β
βGreat traditional village pub. Dog friendly and a nice walk there on the trans pennine trail. Popular with functions, birthday parties etc. Enormous garden, great kid's play area and large covered area. Not much food offering but you can get a burger. The only pub in the village that has a great selection of ever changing guest ales.β
βThis is an amazing little place. From the outside it certainly doesn't look inviting but don't let that put you off. Inside there's a warm welcome, real ale and range of classic, table-top arcade games to be found! A pool table and darts board are also available but 1943 and Centipede made it impossible for me to move away from the arcade games! Probably best to avoid Sheffield United match days if you're after a quiet drink - as it's literally across the road from Bramall Lane. Other than that, this is a great pub.β
βBooked for a table of 18 for Sunday dinner, and the communication between the staff when organising the table & pre-orders was great. Food was delicious (especially beef brisket!) Great play area for the kids to run around too. Staff all friendly & happy. Lovely feel from the pub!β
βI love this hotel. Itβs quirky, original and fun!! Itβs also impeccably maintained with spacious comfortable rooms. But itβs the staff who make it such a great place to stay, always happy to help, to provide great service and always with a smile. Itβs a great team. I would however agree with one of the comments that the breakfast is overpriced. But overall I would highly recommend it.β
βI have been staying with the pastures hotel for around 2/3 year through work purpose. I have to travel around 2/3 hours sometimes to get there, The staff are nothing but warm and friendly, they are always happy to help and super approachable. The rooms are always made up lovely, I have been fortunate to stay in a few of the suites, last one being the bridal suite which was absolutely amazing. Sometimes I can be there for a few weeks at a time, I have always felt the staff were very hospitable which is reassuring when youβre away for a while in an area youβre not totally familiar with. Iβd like to mention that Sharon and Michelle in particular are a credit to the hotel and have always been super welcoming!β
βI adore Casa Hotel! I visited a few days back with a friend for drinks and the staff were just amazing. I would like to say what an absolute asset Lani Kettley is to your company. An absolute diamond. A beautiful soul inside and and out and made the whole visit just wonderful. I canβt thank her enough. Lani will go far Xxβ
βMy partner and I have just had our wedding ceremony and party at the Bateman's mill, I must say, everything set up absolutely perfectly, we even had a huge hog roast on the spit, the function room set up was planned perfectly with space for the singers and room to shake the tail feather. Great choice of drinks to suit everyone my person favourite being the Boston American gentleman and a good choice of spirits and soft drinks . It is definitely a gem worthy of a visit whether it be an event or a casual lunch Highest of recommendations Thank you so much for our very special day Ryan & Lyndsey walkerβ
βFantastic food, great staff and lovely surroundingsβ
βI have traveled extensively throughout the UK, and I can easily state that I had THE BEST steak and ale pie here! It was delicious and had little bits of potato in it as well. The pie crust was perfect! Highly recommended stopping here for the pies!β
βMy daughter got married here recently and it was an absolutely amazing day. She married outside in the beautiful gardens which was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue room looked fantastic. The evening food of pie and peas was delicious. The staff were lovely and very attentive to all our needs. We stayed the night the rooms very nice they were clean and the beds very comfortable and to round our stay off a great breakfast too.β
βFantastic "local" pub, nice rooms, excellent beers and a really decent pint of Guinness. Staff and locals very friendly and welcoming. Nice beer garden with plenty of seating. No frills, quirky, full of conversation......... definitely my sort of pub.β
βFirst time coming for Christmas Lunch, food was amazing, service from the team was spot on. A job well done, intending to book again next year. Thank you so much to the team.Merry Christmas. Sarah and Hannahβ
βI come down 4-6 time a year for work and have always stayed at the Lodge (approx 8yrs). This is a small family run business. They always go the extra mile and make me feel so welcome. Food portions are great and cooked to perfection. There is a small car park and one Electric hook up. They have a nice little garden area where you can sit outside on a good day. Definitely recommend it.β
βHidden little gem. Room that we had was clean modern and fresh with a good smart TV and even thermostat control for heating. Check in was easy through the link to collect the keys. Tea and coffee, extra comfortable bed and pillows. Really nice place I have stopped in many many rooms and this is up there with the best of them for comfort and safety. Also has its own private secure car park.β
βVery clean and cosy room, very comfy bed, owner greeted us on arrival, 100% professional and extremely welcoming. Definitely staying here again. Hotel is on the main road but not too noisy as quality windows installed. Free WiFi, USB ports on sockets, amazing shower. My partner and I have stayed in big chain hotels previously and although they were marginally cheaper (on average between Β£2-Β£15) the quality and comfort of the Kellett Hotel surpasses them all.β
