“I had a lovely dinner here this evening. The food was really tasty. The staff were attentive and friendly. Especially, Joey, he made us feel welcome and were always there when we needed something. We were a group of 25 diners, Joey made sure that everyone gets their food on time. The service was smooth and prompt. I will visit again. Thank you.”

“Went for a meal in the restaurant last night with my wife after visiting earlier in the year on a very impressive bank holiday “pie promo” day. Was really hoping to be blown away by the food as we’d also had personal recommendations & ……….WOW! The food was exceptional. I’m a lifelong pork belly fan & the chefs take on it was exceptional. What a dish! My wife had a trio of Tapas which were also excellent. Deserts were also exceptional. Service was also excellent with special mentions to Richard who totally runs the show with passion & finesse & Drew who was great at the bar. Absolutely loved the vibe, space & experience as a whole & would highly recommend.”

“The Bath Hotel is a pub which hosts a Jazz Music Session once a month at which I play fiddle. The beer is always in good condition, the owner and staff are always friendly and the audience is always appreciative. I can't vouch for the food as I've never eaten there, but I've heard it's good. There are 2 rooms, a large one, where the music is played, and a smaller snug. The decor is relatively spartan, but comfortable enough, the staff are friendly and there is a choice of beers, wines and spirits. It's not a posh pub, but it's well supported and popular.”

“Went to view and hopefully acquire a property for my friend ereton and Dan (estate agent) today was absolutely fantastic, really amazed by the service, he was always available for contact and really cared about getting my friend sorted. He was easy to talk to and very professional with prices, how soon it was available and also other interests and open to questions. Cheers Dan really appreciated it.”

“I booked the spa and overnight stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. The spa was wonderful so relaxing and the staff were amazing even preparing us a surprise dessert after our wonderful lunch. The hotel is a beautiful place, our room was perfect. A lot of work has gone into this place to achieve its grandeur. We spent a lovely evening in the bar/restaurant and the food didn’t disappoint and the service was excellent. “Stayed at HEX on a coach trip from Cornwall. This is a fantastic hotel the concept of the hotel is fantastic. Rooms modern very clean well equipped. A separate resutrant and bar fantastic to be seperate from rooms. Great to have wildlife park on the complex no travelling. Also a complex of shops places to eat and coffee shops. The staff are wonderful so friendly can't do enough for you it's all the extra care to detail to make your stay great I have stayed in a lot of hotels Hex is first class. Highly recommended. Thanks to all staff see you again.”

“We organised a group booking for our Curry Club at The Station Hotel, Parkgate. What an amazing night. The quality of the food was exceptional, fantastic value for money and lots of variety. There's another members bar in the area, but they charge for entry, and the beer's more expensive, but that's maybe what certain people prefer?”

“I went for lunch today with two friends. Honestly its such a lovely place. We were in the conservatory and it was warm and cosy and had that " loungy" " home from home" feeling. You don't get that in most of the other coffee places in Dronfield. Tables are usually crammed together with uncomfortable chairs. These chairs are upholstered and really comfy...which is fantastic when you have a bad back! The coffee is strong and how coffee should taste..and I am very picky! It was lovely to look out of the window and see beautiful greenery and vibrant coloured flowers...even saw a squirrel. Michael the owner is really friendly and listening to his stories about the history of The Chantry as we were leaving was captivating. I would also feel comfortable going there with a book on my own. I had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini...really tasty with a side salad and french dressing... If you want an "experience" then I would go here. Its a much welcome change from modern, cold, minimalist places and has a charm that can only come from years and years of history. It's somewhere that ticks the box that no other place round here does. We will be back soon!”
