“my partner and i had a one off free few hours from the child, and we had completed a big job throughout the day so we wanted to enjoy our tea and have something different. the food was beaut, the timings were spot on, the service was great, all the girls and guys working there were friendly and smiley and looked like they enjoyed their job. i believe someone beside us must have been a little tipsy and had been sick. The man who looked like the duty manager on shift dealt with this perfectly and discreetly, hats off to them, brilliant example. well done team, we will visit again, the attentiveness of our server was Shanika, such a smiley young lass, very good at her job”

“Reopened for 2weeks now. Had a burger and lasagna today. Food was freshly made. Burger was very testy and delicious, one of the best burgers I have ever had. Good quality meat, well cooked and spiced, home made chips, lovely. Would recommend and will come again.”

“Just had a fantastic family meal from the specials menu at the Castle Inn. The service was great and the food was delicious. We have been before and will be going again. The pub is friendly and welcoming and the Management are always attentive and informative on forthcoming menu's. I would recommend this pub.”

“This restaurant was recommended and see why. The food, staff and location was wonderful. We had the 'while you waiting' snack - delicious, then starters, main course and sweet. All the food was tasty and flavoursome. I had the homemade 'pie of the day' (mushroom and ale) which was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The triple cooked chips (pinched from my wife's plate) were some of the best we have ever tasted. The menu is not extensive but after seeing what other diners had ordered as well, we noticed all the dishes had the same care and quality and represented very good value. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and we insisted on leaving a service charge as none was included. We throughly recommend this establishment.”

“Always have a lot of fun here! Definitely the best karaoke service in Sheffield, and it doesn't hurt that the staff are really accommodating and friendly. The price is totally affordable and the equipment is great However, if I could make one change I'd update the song list. Me and my friends always come here because Kmax has the best service but it would be really nice if they updated their song list for both English and Korean songs. Thanks :)”

“My train was delayed for an hour yesterday! I'd heard about the pub from a friend but not been in, so thoight id give it a go not expecting much. I loved the amazing selection of non alcoholic beers. I had a delicious lager. The decor is fab, classic pub vibes and the fact you're literally on the platform means when your train finally does arrive you're very unlikely to miss it. I only had a drink so cannot vouch for food.”

“Had a unplanned bottomless brunch yesterday. Adam and Taylor were very helpful and kept the drinks flowing. The chicken strips were amazing. The music was good to begin with but went a bit weird after the first hour, my friend asked if they change it to RnB and they did.”

“I love this place! Our favourite restaurant in Sheffield. It's a really friendly place and the staff are always nice. The decor is lovely and the food and the cocktails are amazing! Keep an eye out for happy hour and special offers on different days. If you're going in the evening or at the weekend, make sure you book a table in advance as it gets busy. There's usually live music at the weekend which is a lovely bonus. Highly recommend.”

“Only been in on a weeknight before so can't comment on how busy it is on weekends. Good beer selection and Guinness is well kept. Has a pool table which is £2 for 3 games. Barman was nice as well. All in all feels like a good community pub finally finding a bit of success after facing demolition around 2017.”

“Great atmosphere in an old building in the heart of Sheffield. Huge selection of beers and ciders. We were there on a quiet Monday evening but they still put on live music - a three-piece jazz/blues band. Highly recommend if you're in the city centre and fancy tasting some unusual brews.”

“Huge arcade section as soon as you walk in and air conditioned which is a life saver on a hot day like today. Lady behind the desk was friendly with a smile and had good manners. Even have vip sections to sit in on specific lanes which is cool, large dining area with a bar also. The lanes are well lit and fun to play on, can order food and drinks to your lane also by simply scanning the qr code”

“First time going and I will say it was lovely. Great selection of amazing foods & wine. The staff are all lovely and the chef really knows how to cook! The atmosphere was incredibly chill and homely and felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Will definitely be going again to try the rest of the menu selection.
